How do you expect every person to have the Debit card or Credit card to board the flight??? Is that the most important thing or the ticket that was booked???
I had booked a ticket from Chennai for my friend at around 11:30pm, 20th October 2011 so that she could board a flight at 6:15 am the next day, she was asked not to board the flight as she does not have the debit card with her! And the staff demanded for a fax proof at around 5:45am.. they really think everyone here sits with a Xerox machine or a fax machine at 5:30 in the morning??
The staff was just following the policies of the company but I think policies must also include that they must use common sense all the time!!!!
I demanded to speak to the person who denied my friend to get on the flight as I was the owner of the debit card used! the staff just was not ready to speak to me but wanted me to fax a copy of my card at 5:30 am!
While booking the ticket your website gave me an error, and later I noticed I had booked the wrong tickets, I did call up your customer care centre then and there to rectify it and to reschedule it to the correct flight, to which your associate at the call centre says that he cannot use my debit card to do it even when I can use it on your website!! How dumb!! Can’t he not access the website at his location and do the needful???
I finally rescheduled the tickets to later find out that my friend would not be able to board the flight at the very last moment!
Your staff was so strict to follow the policy that my friend had to cry in front of the whole staff to get in to a flight for which she has confirmed tickets!!!
Finally a gentle man with some common sense helped her board the flight! thanks to him!!
