My husband, myself, our daughter and infant son twenty months had the misfortune to book an indigo flight from Trivandrum to Hyderabad on 12 December 2012. When we arrived at the airport we were harassed by goons who call themselves indigo managers. The PNR numbers are SWYEDA and FWM6BD.
I arrived in Thiruvananthapuram for Flight 6E-315 well in time, and during check-in was asked to provide the Date of Birth certificate for my infant son. Since I did not have the DOB certificate, I was told that Indigo would not board all 4 o[censored]s. When asked why Indigo needed the birth certificate, I was told that they had to ensure that the infant was actually less than two years of age. I then offered to pay the difference between an infant’s ticket and a child’s ticket, without requiring Indigo to provide me with an additional seat. This too was refused by the Indigo staff After refusing to board all four o[censored]s, the Indigo staff here then cancelled my ticket (without consultation with me), marking the tickets “No Show”. This essentially means that Indigo has refused to refund almost the entire ticket amount of Rs. 12,000!
All this took place with the active collusion and support of indigo staff – they called themselves managers. The staff in question were Bibin/ Bipin Thomas and Tejas (last name I do not know). Both of them did not only make themselves unhelpful, they went about being unhelpful in the most obnoxious manner possible. In fact, they actively sought out opportunities to quarrel with us. It was clear that they derived considerable perverse pleasure in ensuring that I and my family were being inconvenienced to the greatest extent possible. Please help us to get our money refunded.
