I am getting my LPG Gas Cylinder( Indane) through M/S Dev Agencies, Saligramam, Chennai for the past 20 years./ My Consumer No. is 16960. Recently a new refill was supplied by the above co. When we tried to open and connect it to the gas, it started leaking due to valve problem. This was brought to the attention of the agency co immediately. I made a complaint to the company on Jan.13th 2012. But till date we are yet to get the problem solved by them. My persistent phone calls did not get the desired result. The company attendant answer is 'mechanic will come and attend to it".Even after a week the problem remains unsolved. Indian Oil Corpn's local emergency phones remain switched off or unavailable most of the time. If a company cannot solve this sort of smaller problems, how are they going to solve bigger fires in their oil fields? I think proper attention is not paid to the complaints from public.
