I am residing in Batla House, Okhla, New Delhi. There is a bank operating in our residential building by the name of "Jamia Co-operative Bank" at the following address:
334/E, Batla House, Okhla, New Delhi - 110025.
The bank is harassing us. The people who come to work in the bank park their bikes and cars in a haphazard manner( in front of the my gate which creates a problem while I remove my car and bike) and when asked to move their vehicle they use abusive languages. The bank asks us not to park our cars and when we informed them that we are the residents of the building and we have parking rights, they harassed us and used abusive languages. The Bank Manager is a very indecent person and he has misbehaved with me and my family members. He has resorted to abusive language and harassment. The bank has also fixed a huge generator right next to my entry gate which makes it very difficult for me to enter my house. The bank is occupying ground and first floor of the building. They have also misbehaved with us on many previous occasions. The bank is a nuisance and on top of that they are harassing us a lot.
Kindly take an immediate action to stop commercial activity in the building since it causes nuisance for all us residents. Was this information helpful? |
Jamia Cooperative Bank — Bank returning the cheque after 18 months
Dear Sir/MadamI had submitted two cheque for clearance into my Jamia Co-Operative Bank , Abul Fazl, New-Delhi -110025 branch in January 2008. Both the cheques were A/C payee. On my visit to the bank on 5/09/2009 the bank returned these cheques saying it could not be cleared due to an error in the name written on the cheques. During the span of 18 months the bank never informed us about the error and kept these cheques with themselves though we had visited the bank many times for transactions.
I want to know what are my legal rights in this case, secondly can the bank keep such cheques with them without informing its customers about the issues. Do they not have the responsibility to inform their customers about any transactional problems ?
Please Help
