The bus route 21h from kelambakkam to broadway is operated very irrugulary without proper timing in the morning hours. Between 7.45 am to 8.45 am.
We have to ask the time keeper for starting a bus. He announces one number but some other bus is oeprated, making commuters run behind the bus.

Why such lethargic, negligent attitude of mtc oeprators. As no private oeprators in city it is unjust and unfair to trouble commuters.

I think public interst litigation has to be filed for such errotic operation of buses.

Many perople have to reach on time to highcourt, banks, and business establishments. Please udnerstand commuters hardship, or we have to represent to pallavan hosue and to secretary to transport ministry.

Please regularise the service with sincere dedication. We have to blame only the mtc top management for this irregularity or due to internal corruption higher-ups are unable to question their subordinates.

MTC Buses in chennai — Luxury buses

Hi Thanks for the complaint board. I dont know whether this will be considered. But this is my duty to post this msg.

Buses available from Tambaram towards highcourt, redhills and other places have been changed to Luxury.

It is very rare to see yellow board or Express buses.

All most 90 % of the buses have been changed. The rest of the places have white board buses in plenty.

Its very hard to travel in luxury buses that too with no comfortness.

How come transport department expects everyone to travel in luxury buses where different level of earning population available.

Will the department consider my grievance?

MTC Bus — Accident

made accident and moved with out stopping... time of occurance 09:28, 24.01.10.

MTC — INADEQUATE

Inadequate Bus service -- 15F (from Vadapalani to Broadway via Chinmaya Nagar)
I am regularly travelling from Adyar to Sanatorium around 8.30 A M to 9 A M. Today when I was travelling route No. PP21 and vehicle No. TN 01 N7855 (Depot No. ADI2137) the conductor was roughly behaved to everyone and myself . I was asking ticket for sanatorium and he said bus will not stop at sanatorium either you want to buy a ticket for Chromepet or Tambaram. I was travelling daily it stops at Sanatorium by delux buses also. At the time of issuing ticket he has given from sathya studio to chromepet for Rs.10/- vide ticket No. 195399 dated 26th November 2010 at 09.02:12 instead of Adyar.

They are suppose to be polite and they should behave in a right way.Will MTC authorities make proper action against him?

All the buses plying through Sanatorium, halt and go.
Similar issue happend to my parents when they were travelling from Chennai to Kanchipuram on Feb 2, 2011 in volvo A/c bus (No. 576) Ticket no: 147722. Usually all buses stops at new railway station at kpm. On that day though ticket being taken saying kanchipuram railway station, the driver refused to stop & he spoke without basic manners towards elder people.

After this instant my parents (aged 54) walked through a long distance to reach home which was big fatigue for them.

A complaint being logged to the MTC customer care no with poor response from customer care executive, who speaks without sense.

My query here is people pay triple the charge of normal bus fare still they were treated poorly as I mentioned above. Why don't MTC management takes any actions to improper customer handling? Even though there is no stop - driver & conductor could have handled very smoothly & politely. If there is a issue in stopping why can't they display a sheet in the bus which shows approved stops for the particular bus?
Dear sir or Madam I dont understand why not all the 65 B buses starting from Poonamallee to Ambattur Estate goes Via H.V.F Estate ? Same while from Ambattur Estate to Poonamallee . I can understand the roads are not fine ndue to other State government works but that doesnt means that the people residing in Shanthi nagar, H.VF Esatae, Poombuzil nagar and heart breaking little school going children lifting there heavy bags have to walk either to Murrugappa polytechnic or to H.V.F Ajeya Stadium. I hope we will get a remedy soon atleast after this message. Is there anyone who is looking at this message ? then please take some action...

Bus on time — More buses from Thiruvanmiyur

Hi

Can we have at least few more busses running from Thiruvanmiyur to Porur running via Tidal Park. This would save our time and more fuel for MTC.

Will they consider this immeidately.

iam residing at madhavarm milk colony, iam working at vetnary periament chennai.

Daily iam catch the bus no. 64c from ARUL NAGAR bus stop on route of manali.

now a days we are waiting for that route bus 64c more than one hour, the bus no.64c

is not frequent and also the buses are very very damage. this route bus only came up to

broadway via DOVTON, VETNARY AND PERIAMET. there is no bus on the from G3 POLICETATION AND DOVTON

so heavy groud in this bus when passing throgh G3 bus stop.

i request you please provide frequent bus for 64C AND 64B in time mainting.
I am residing in Karanodai and a regular user of MTC buses. I always use 57F bus from Karanodai to reach beach station. I work in night shift and it starts by 6.30 in Tidel park. I usually come to bus stop by 4 - 4.15PM, I always see one or two buses which comes at that time get halted in a roadside tea shop for more than 45 min. Almost 3 buses sometimes it goes 4 and gets lined up, the drivers and conductors normally chit-chat among themselves. Since its a peak hour, these buses could have moved on a regular interval in order to reduce passenger crowd rather than moving all the buses together with a gap of 5 min.

I really dont know the reason why they are doing like this. It's happening everyday and many people and school students are suffering because of this. I called the MTC Complaint number but no response.

Could someone please take a necessary action on this.

We have only one bus M49 from Thiruvanmiyur to Ramachabdra hospital connecting Guindy, Ramapuram etc. Unfortunately, the bus is always crowded and there are more rooms that the frequency can also be increased on that.

Apart from that it takes the longer route of Besant Nagar, Adayar etc, instead few of the buses can be diverted through Tidal. These routes were given when Tidal route was not comfortably present.

Hopefully, MTC can focus on changing the routes of many buses, so that the frequency can be increased and utilization will also get increased.

Most importantly, they can run few volvo a/c buses connecting few of the IT sectors like Thiruvanmiyur (Tidal) and DLF / Navalur. The way city is been ruined due auto rickshaws misbehavior, buses can be used in an optimum way. Eventually, this will help the traffic in the the road, since people would prefer these kind of buses rather than self driving.

Today i travelled in 25g bus from avichi school stopping to poruru the bus fare cost 11rs, as i didnt have change i gave 20 rs to conductor, but he said no change and gave only 5rs balance money...While getting down i asked him for the balance 4rs but the conductor cooly said that he don have balnace...Its their duty to bring changes with them.. if i give 100 rs and he don have change will he not give me any balkance amount...Please take this complain and that conductor should realise that he is workinhg in govt service...
Yesterday 8:45 pm 5C has entering the taramani Bus Depot. Again 9:00 pm another 5c entering the Bus depot. Again 9:30 pm one more 5C Entering the bus Depot. total 3 Buses are in the Taramani Bus Depot. we waiting in the Ascendas Stop. One came out of the depot at 9:50 PM. From 8.45 to 9.50 we are waiting in the bus stop, inspite of three buses in the depot. Why is this gap in providing the bus frequency. We are suffering more in this regard it delays more in catching the other buses as its night time. After 10 P.M. we dont have any bus available in this route too. already we are suffering a lot due to less frequency, in addition to that if all the buses passes at same time how can we plan or rely on this bus route.
Hi All,

I would like to share my bitter experience i had yesterday in the G70 vadaplani bus depot . The ticket price was 11rs i din have change so gave 100rs and the conductor rudely yelled to get out of the bus. He infact had the changes tucked in his fingers but he kept saying no. I told he can give me before i get down m stop at chrompet. but still he rudely said he wont have change get out of the bus. I was never treated like that before by any one . I had to get down from the bus and told him to stop the bus.. since it was traffic bus was slow moving he again yelled ...bus is not moving get out. I basically don't understand, who gave rights to the conductor to yell ... at passengers . Dint they undergo basic training to behave politely to passengers. Until common people are not treated respectfully, am sure India will never grow and let people live peacefully.
I dono if any thing can/ will be done. But I hope some one some day in MTC will take an effort to correct it.

I am residing at Pallavaram and I used to go to office at Siruseri daily for work. There were two mtc services from Pallavarm to Sipcot - one on route 517T and the other on 517K. But for the past 3 months, I could not see any service on route 517K. Only one service exists and it becomes overcrowded in the peak hours when I start to office. Even if I prefer going to Tambaram, unfortunately I won't find buses on route T151 to be frequent.

It will surely benefit office goers if the service on 517K is resumed atleast during the peak hours in the morning and evening. In the past few months, mtc began expanding its fleet making commuters happy. But introducing new services should not be done at the cost of suspending services that already exist. This will put commuters to trouble. I hope the mtc authorities are listening.

we 28 students boarded MTC Bus No TN32N3087 from chettinad medical college to kelambakkam.Inspite of our information the conductor gave ticket from kelambakkam to thiruporur and refused to answer.so please see to this issue in consideration.

219 and 219A are not at all regular in the evening.. There are a lot of people boarding the bus at tidal park. There should be buses every half an hour from 5.30 hrs in the evening. Sometimes a bus comes at 6.15 and then only 7-7.15pm. Regular plying of such buses on time will help us reach home on time and need not stay in badly lit bus stops for a long time as some times it becomes a safety issue. Traffic being a big issue in this route we suggest you to think of plying 1 A/C bus from Tidal park to Ambattur at 6.30 pm as this is the peak time when people gather at tidal park to board the bus which will be a big facility for us who ply till Ambattur.

I commute everyday from Jain College, Thoraipakkam to MEPZ (Tambaram Sanatorium) by AC A21 Buses. The bus timings are really erratic.

Today I waited for 1 hour 15 minutes from 8:55 am to 10:10 am to catch the AC A21 bus.Though the frequency of the buses are every 30 minutes, this issue happens almost everyday.

I tried to launch a complaint on [protected]. But the staff kept on asking about the fleet no and didn't take my complaint.

Kindly look into the problem. Facing such issues during weekdays is really annoying.
