[Resolved]  Municipal Corporation Of Delhi — Encroachment complaint

Dear Sir,
I would like to inform you that government land on Mathura Road near Okhla Sewage Treatment Plant on the stretch to Appolo Hospital there are many (jhuggi jhonpadi) clusters of temporary settlement have emerged over the period of few months. This place is very close to Sarita Vihar Police Station. Neither the police nor MCD is interested to clear these habitations which is not safe to the road also to commuters. Mathura road was always VIP road leading to Taj Mahal. Once these clusters of house would be there then there would be hawkers and congestion of road and later on road blocks which is already can be seen in Harkesh Nagar. These clusters can not come without the involvement (Corruption) of authorities. It is better to remove on time before it is too late and become the political vote game.

Both sides of Railway Track near Okhla Industrial area is encroached. Requesting to remove all such encouragement from community medicine.

Entire stretch of cycle track on Pankha Road opposite Janakpuri, New Delhi-58 /also opposite Sitapuri, Chanakya Place, Mahendra Park, Jeevan Park, Indira Park(till Tilak Pul) since been encroached by Bus owners, Tempo Owners, Jhuggi Jhopri Mafia, Unlawful health clinics and Rag Pickers. A number of tents can be seen on this stretch from Sitapuri to Tilakpurl. Moreover, the flood deptt. has not desilted the drain completely. The silt removed from the drain is still lying on both sides of drain. In these rainy days bed smell is coming from the silt and it is not possible to stand for 10 minutes near the drain on entire stretch. It has been shown on website of Flood deptt. of Delhi that De-silting done in April but nothing appears to have been done . It was an eyewash that JCB machine were used just to show that de-silting been done but the silt is still lying in the drain which is giving bad smell in the area and can cause health problems for nearby residents.
Therefore, it is requested to take necessary steps to de-silt the entire drain on Pankha Road Opp. Janakpuri.

Sir, In the hasanpur village, patparganj, east delhi the entire road is always blocked by cars and vehicles of residents. There is a reliance fresh in this village which has occupied half of the road area by keeping their chain stands and big containers trucks on road. Even during day time you barely have a space to move a car on that road. The reason for this numerous number of cars if the taxis and unauthorised multistoreyed constructions which has been rented to small offices where numerous staff works and they bring their vehicles and park on the road. Also there is a banquet hall in this area whose owner has occupied the area in front of his premises and does not allow other people to park their car. It is like they own the road as well as their house. Kindly look at the condition of hasanpur village, near patparganj bus depot. The area abounds from sai mandir to relaince fresh in that area.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am the resident of Masih Garh, Ward No 54 Okhla Constituency. In the entrance of Village Masih Garh, there is blockage of street from both sides by illegal vendors, parking, two wheeler workshops, etc. There is no pavement so people are forced to walk on street and prone to accidents, eve teasing and snatching of valuables by the criminal elements of the nearby areas. Masih Garh Resident Welfare Association has made complaint regarding the fish market and vendors who are constant source of crowd, street dogs and obstruction of easy way. Instead of taking action against the fish vendors, MCD officials are helping these illegal people by raising against the RWA executives, if RWA is culprit. You are requested to safeguard the entrance street of village Masih Garh by removing all encroachments and make the place livable.

Sub. : Request for Legal action against encroachment by Shopkeepers

Sir/ Madam,

I the undersigned DINESH KUMAR residing at KATRA PERAN, TILAK BAZAR, KHARI BAOLI, DELHI-110006 would like to submit my burning problems as below and request your help to overcome from the encoachment facing by resident of Katra Peran, Tilak Bazar, Delhi-110006.

Since last many years, we are facing encroachment problem by shopkeepers
This has encouraged many other shops to crop up on the pavements it. Now vendors have come to occupy the whole of pavements so much so that there is no space left for street walkers any longer.

Hope you will do the needful favourably with an immediate effect, which will help to avoid other encroachments also in our area.

I am a retired senior journalist and a resident of K3, 1st floor, Prasad Nagar, Karol Bagh, Central Delhi. House no: K1 on the ground floor is just beneath us and has recently been purchased by a new family. It is to be informed that the new occupants started an illegal construction of a room to which we objected and our objections went unattended. The family has finally constructed a room which is illegal and encroaching my property. The height of their newly constructed room is above their lanter and is encroaching my space. Moreover, they have also placed a split AC fan unit over the raised unauthorized roof intentionally which should otherwise be fixed in their wall. These acts are annoying, illegitimate and disturbing our privacy and peace.

I am a senior citizen suffering from acute illness and living with my wife alone. The attitude which the new occupants carry along is threatening and it seems they do no care much about municipality rules and the legal framework under Indian Penal Code. Their action is also a serious violation of Section 441 of the Indian Penal Code as well as the Law of Torts.

As a rightful duty of a citizen, I have registered a complaint with the local police station and am extending my grievance to you along with photographs as a valid proof. Your immediate intervention is expected at the earliest.

This is to draw your attention towards the encroachment in our area hari nagar new delhi - 64 . Many shopkeeper have encroached the road for selling their items .but this create very congested for the traffic to move . shops like ration stores, book store etc are using road .
