[Resolved]  New Delhi Passport Office — Difficulties in getting passport of our 7 months old kid

Passport Query Reg: File Ref. No-Z073143 of AKSHAT NAMBIAR

It is going to be 6 months we are still waiting for the passport of our kid of 7 months old. We submitted all the documents required and the police verification also completed on 14th of October. We now getting the following status information at the passport site http://www.passport.nic.in/.

Status : Please furnish a copy of applicant's parents passport or an affidavit from either parent to the effect that applicant name is not included in passport of either of applicant's parents. . It is requested to furnish the required information within 15 days.

My husband is in tour everytime and i have to manage our two kids and also to visit passport office to meet with PRO is very difficult for me. I tried to communicate to the grievance cell of PRO at [protected]@nic.in, but the always bounce to this mail address. I visited the passport office 8 to 10 times. Last two times i visited PRO was telling police verification not received but the concerned police told already sent the verification papers 20 days back. I really fedup with this.
Hope the consumer forum must convey the above issue and get to resolution.
