[Resolved]  Punjab Technical University — Result not out for B.C.A IV Semester.

Hi, my name is ashish.
My brother has recently completed his B.C.A. and took admission in M.C.A this year(2008). But his one subject of B.C.A IVth sem. was not cleared ( Mathematics) and he had already given exam for that subject. He was very confident that he will definetly pass that exam. On seeing his confidence only, we allow him to go for M.C.A., as we don't want to waste his 1 precious year. So he took admission once again under P.T.U.for M.C.A. on provisional basis . His M.C.A. seat is yet not confirmed as for that he has to show his B.C.A provisional certificate which will only given to him by his previous college administration if he successfully pass that mentioned exam ( mathematics).
But delay in result by P.T.U creating serious problems for him and all our family. As he has asked daily for provisional certificate by his currently college administraion. They had already co-operate till November but now final exams are to be held on 12th December for M.C.A 1st Sem. and still his seat is not confirmed. He had already make a talk with P.T.U personnals at Jallandhar, but all in vain. They have no answer for results, even my brother gave an application for confidential result for his exam. and gave 300/- as Fees for that confidential result at P.T.U office jallandhar. The P.T.U. personnals gave him assurrance that his result was sent to the college confidentially in 15 days but no confidential result was received yet 3 months after from the date of application submitted.

I dont understand, what P.T.U is doing with those papers, and where that 300/- rupees gone, might be some kind of fund to be collected by P.T.U to improve their management.
But the students and their families are very much affected by such kind of Lazy Behavour shown by P.T.U management.

I dont know what is going to happen with my brother, whether he should permitted by P.T.U to give M.C.A practical exams or might be he would have to pack his luggage if his seat will not confirmed only due to the result that is also to be declared bu P.T.U.

All things, our parent's money, my brother studies, his precious 1 year, his self confidence, might be destroyed only due P.T.U.'s bad management and their personnals who even don't want to have a talk with anyone who come to their offices with such complaints. They have only one reply for all questions " WAIT KARO, RESULT AA JAYEGA" .

Through consumer complaint forum, i just want to highlight this problem faced by many o[censored]s and want some solution for this from the management of P.T.U. that how much time period a uviversity require to declare the result after exams...

may be 3 months...
surely 4...
or more than 5 to 6 months...
