[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office Mumbai — Reissue of passport

I want to re-issue the passport of my son who is 17 yrs old. I have visited the Mumbai passport office with all the documents as have been listed on the web site. But 3 times I have been sent back requesting for different documents It is very very frustrating to stand in the queue for more than a half day and then being told about the format and documents which change every time. This is just unacceptable.

My son's name is Jasraj Father's name Shishir and Surname Padhye

On his original passport his name is written as
surname - Padhye
Name - Jasraj Shishir

So now the they want to write his name as Jasraj Shishir on the on-line reissue form which is not correct
at all. The format on the web site is wrong. or the manner in which it has been written on the original passport is wrong.
Why should I submit H form when it is not applicable? I do not understand this. This was told to me when I came there for the 3rd time.
Why a youngster who is 17 yr old cannot submit his own form? why do you nee the mother to come personally? Are you not troubling every body and increasing the crowd in the office.
There should be a check-list for every type of passport available on the web site. How is the Govt bothered about the parents marital status whether the parents are separated or divorced or married? A young citizen between 14 to 18 yrs applies for his own passport since he is a citizen of India why cann't we make the life simple for all the citizens? why mke complicated procedures?

THE OFFICERS IN KANDIVALI (E) PASSSPORT OFFICE ARE VERY RUDE, THEY ASK" WHO IS YOUR FATHER AND YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IS YOUR FATHER'S NAME " IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY AGAIN AND AGAIN. THE CASHIER IS VERY RUDE. THERE ARE 4 OFFICERS WHO TAKE CARE OF THIS PLACE, BUT THEY CARE A DAMN FOR ANYONE. THERE IS NO PLACE TO STAND FOR THE APPLICANTS IN THIS RAINY SEASON, AND IF WE CLIMB THE STAIRS TO AVOID RAIN, THEY SAY "WE ARE NOT HERE TO SEE YOUR FACE. GET DOWN". THEY ARE ALWAYS ANGRY ON THE THE APPLICNATS.

THE OFFFICERS AT THE KANDIVALI PASSPORT OFFICE ARE VERY RUDE...AND ASK FOR MONEY FOR EVERY SMALL MISTAKES. they talk very rudely wth evry one. they charge Rs.10 for a RS.1 form... i.e for Passsport Registration Form.
