I had booked a Renault duster from the Panipat showroom in Haryana on 4th of July.. At the time of booking I was told that the car would be delivered to me by September 2012. Its december 2012 and the dealer hasnt delivered the car as yet. When I called up the dealer he told me that the car would be delivered by Feb 2013 now. ( a good 5 months from the promised date).
I called up the renault customer care for assistance. It has been one of my life's most pathetic experience. Firstly there customer helpline automatically drops off. Once I connect through the stupid IVR, I am greeted by an executive who takes in all the details and then says he will talk to some "concerned" team and get back to me. This buffoonery has been happening since the last one week and no one has gotten back to me. They keep forwarding my calls and do nothing about it.
I was also told by the customer care exec that as per their records the car has already been delivered by the dealer. The dealer obviously delivered my car to someone else. I am now contemplating getting my refund since I am too tired to speak to anyone in Renault. The dealer on the other hand does not answer my calls.
Dont buy Renault, if before sales is this bad, am sure after sales would be worse !!!
