I too agree with complaints.. i called nandilath for enquiring about the LG microwave, and they quoted Rs.300 extra than what was given in the LG website. so when i questioned them, they said it was the price during ONAM season. what i could infer is tat they priced the product bit high and sell it for the original price saying its on reduction. This is one way of cheating customers on behalf of "festival reduction sale".
Nandilath G-Mart at Ernakulam should also be avoided, My friend bought a brand new Refrigerator LG
and after taking the money they took almost 15 days to deliver the goods, while all other shops in Ekm supply within 24 Hrs.

My latest experience with Nandilath GMart Kannur is as follows
I went to Nandilath GMart Kannur showroom to buy a refrigerator two days back. The salesman was good and explained us about various brands and we finalised to buy a Samsung 24Y 230 L model. On enquiry with the manager the salesman told that the fridge which has an MRP of Rs. 15990 can be purchased at a discounted price of Rs. 11990 along with exchanging our old fridge
Since that was a good offer we gave an advance amount and booked it and they told that the balance amount can be paid on delivery.
Before leaving the showroom we had a look at the LCD range of televisions since we was planning to buy one in the near future (Nandilath has good display of appliances!). After sometime the salesman came running in and told that they had a mistake in calculating the price of the fridge I booked and we have to pay Rs. 13990, ie 2000 Rs more for it and also they will not consider exchanging our old fridge. Since we already paid the advance we agreed to pay more. When we insisted in exchanging our old fridge, the arrogant manager like man sitting in front of the cash counter argued that they cant provide exchange offer at this price.
We had earlier enquired the price of the model at Nikshan Electronics, the other leading dealer in Kannur, and they had agreed to provide it for Rs. 12800 inclusive of an exchange offer of Rs. 1000/- for our old fridge. The Nandilath GMart offer was Rs. 1190 more than the nearest competitior and that too without an exchange.
Unfortunately we had to buy the fridge at a greater price without an exchange since we had already paid an amount as advance to the firm.
When I asked the Manager that selling appliances with greater price than their competitiors would affect their brand image, he replied that they are offering some gift coupon with which the customer can get a flat, cars, gold etc.
C'mon Nandilath GMart, We customers wants quality product, service at a reasonable price and not gift coupons.

I ALSO AGREE THIS NANDILATH ALWAYS PROVIDING SECOND QUALITY PRODUCTS.

I wanto to buy one plasma/LCD TV and one music system for the house waming . I thought of buying it from Nandilath brothers shop. . I feel it is better to buy from the local shops even it is costlier. Thank you for the information

me too had a bitter experiance with gopu nadhilath g mart in calicut..myself purchased one samsung 21 inch ordinary telvision..after 6 months or around 8 months it started an iritating sound from the back side while we are operating..when i called them they told me they wil contact us soon.but they didint .few days later me came bak to qatar( hear i am working) might be they thought that my main job is watching bloody television .. now my television is over 1 year means guarantee period is almost over.. so they are so happy .. that one costomer also in trap..pls take right decision about yor product and SHOPE..take care.

I fully agree with your comments. I am really surprised as to how these guys are still in business by cheating customers to such an extent. Please please spread the word to everyone not to buy any electronic device from Nandilath.

1. Thanks for the eye-opening comments. I bought a TV and W/M during my last leave and used these for only a week as I had to come back.I was planning to buy more items from them during my next leave. now I'll rethink before entering their showroom.

It’s really sad to hear that this dealer gained so many frustrated/cheated customers. May be – “This Dealer” has got some ties with Manufacturers to procure factory damaged items for fewer prices to there showrooms.
So enquire generally before buying a product with other dealers, friends……Also there are many small dealersagencies all over Kerala who can provide better customer / Product service but with out big offer discount & show offs.

WHEN WE CALL TO NANDILATH SHOWROOM THEY NEVER CONNECT TO SALES EXECUTIVE, JUST THEY SAY HE IS BUSY
It may be an one odd incident... From my personal experience the services and products offered by Nadilath are good... customers are real kings... anyway...check all dealers, their services/prices before going for shopping...

I was so beautifully cheated. Anyway i am not planning to go to consumer forumns or others.
Simply, I will never step into that dirty shop nor will my friends and relatives.
One good thing i found in Udaya is they are keeping price tags on almost all products .I think it is a very good practice.
