Dear Sir,
My client M/s Satyam Lights Pvt. Ltd., having it office at 3rd floor, Aman Chambers, 47/22, Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi, has handed over to me your legal notice dated 24th December, 2009 sent by you on behalf of your clients M/s Karan Paper Products, at Door No. 527B/5, Pallakku Road, Pandavarmangalam, Kovilpatti- 628501 ( Tamilnaidu ) with the instructions to reply the same as under:
At the outset I say that your client has not disclosed to you the real facts and claim raised against my clients is totally unfounded, false, and imaginative and manipulated in as much as the same is not supported by any documents. In absence thereof, the liability raised by your client through this legal notice is not tenable.
However para wise reply of the same is as under:
1. That the contents of para 1of your legal notice are not disputed and it is stated that your client was already in the business of Paper Plate manufacturing and approached my client at there Delhi office for entering in to an agreement with my client for purchase of an Paper Plate Manufacturing unit and for enhancement of their business. The agreement dated 24.07.2009 was duly executed between my client and your clients.
2-6, . That the contents of para 2-6 of your legal notice are not disputed. However it is stated that at the time of installation of the machine, the trained trainer of my clients gave your clients proper training up to the satisfaction of your clients as the machine was absolutely in prefect working conditions and no complaint regarding manufacturing defect of any type of whatsoever was reported to my clients by your clients.
7-12. That the contents of para 7-10 of your legal notice as stated are wrong and malicious and therefore denied in toto. No such E¬-Mail or phone calls were ever received by my clients. It is stated that your client had sent 103000 pieces of finished Paper Plate and out of which only 77760 pieces were found to be as per the specifications. My clients paid you a sum of Rs. 56370/- which was duly accepted by your client. However it is stated that as per agreement dated[protected] duly executed between my client and your client and as per clause 5 and 6 thereof, there are certain specifications and the Paper Plate are to be prepared accordingly and delivered at the office of my client at Delhi and only then the same shall be accepted and payment shall be made.
13. In reply to para 13 of your notice it is already stated above that the machine was delivered and installed, absolutely in prefect working conditions and no complaint regarding manufacturing defect of any type of whatsoever was reported to my clients by your clients at any point of time.
14. In reply to para 14 of your notice it is stated that for selling the machines no such approval from the Government or any competent authority is required.
15. That the contents of para 15 of your legal notice as stated are wrong and malicious and therefore denied in toto. As per agreement dated[protected] duly executed between my client and your client and as per clause 8 thereof, no machine will be taken back once sold to your client.
16. That the contents of para 16 of your legal notice as stated are wrong and malicious and therefore denied in toto. It is denied that the cost of the machine is worth Rs. 25, 000/-. It is specifically denied that my client has duped and defrauded your client. There is no deficiency of service on the part of my client as your client is not a consumer within the meaning of Consumer Protection Act and has no locus standi to file any complaint as the transaction between the parties took place for commercial gains so the dispute raised by your client can not be a termed as consumer dispute as defined under the C. P. Act.
17. That the contents of para 17 of your legal notice as stated are wrong and malicious and therefore denied in toto. Agreement dated[protected] duly executed between my client and your client already stand expired as per clause 3 of the same.
18. That the contents of para 18 of your legal notice as stated are wrong and malicious and therefore denied in toto
Through above said reply to your legal notice I on behalf of my client deny that they owes any civil liability as claimed by your legal notice. As per the agreement dated[protected] and as per clause 13 of the same in case of any dispute in regard to the agreement between the parties only the Delhi Courts shall have the Jurisdiction to entertain and try the same. The claim made by your legal notice is totally false, unfounded and malicious with a view to harass my client. In absence of any cogent, authenticated proof of liability the claim made by your client is mischievous, ill-designed and with a view to extort money. The claim made by your client is not only untenable but also defamatory causing insult, disrepute and tarnishing the fair image of my client who reserve the right to file suit for defamation against your client.
However in the interest of fair name of business practices and conventions I request you to kindly give wise counseling to your client to avoid unwarranted litigation however if any litigation is initiated the same will be defended at the cost and risk of your client. In the end as a matter of courtesy my client offers to discuss the matters with your client or with your client’s authorized representative at Delhi office of my client with a view to clarify the whole matter and remove miss-understanding as my client is still ready to extended the agreement dated[protected] and interested to work with your client with full spirit of the agreement dated[protected].

Then only we can justify,

My doubt is since 1996 on words satyam lights are doing business, but only few people came out with compalints, then what about others.I request are their any people haveing good opinion on statyam lights.

Satyam Trading pvt ltd dont have an official email ID. It is using rediffmail for the conversation with customers. Satyam Trading pvt ltd has to prove its has its not a fraud company by atlest my providing official email ID.
This Post is regarding RS international, Pitampura. I too saw the newspaper adds, called them. They sent the brouchers. Many phone discussions. They were very prompt to answer calls, even if you give them a missed call they'll call you back.
Follwoing oints Assured before buying the machine:
1.As soon as they receive the materials, they will release the Amount promptly.
2.No delays.
3.They will be very proactive in sending the raw materials once they receive the money.
Convinced, I bought their single die paper cups machine for 75k in April 2012. They sent the machine and the trainer promptly.( no big training required for ppl who have technical knowledge. Just a booklet with procedures will do. I ended up paying 4.5k to the guy)
During the purchasing phase, Anupama was the reps that helped me with the purchasing.
Now after the first set of production the problems unfolded.
Their attitude and tone over the phone changed -
They don't reply to phone calls promptly.
They say they never received the Courier yet or the materials
Steps that are involved in the production process. This is never briefed by them. The business initially may sound profitable, but considering all below the margin gets very thin.
For the semi Automatic - which is 75k, they will send sheets of papers which is the raw material.
1.We'll need to get it from the Parcel point, which most cases is far - Hence the transportation cost
2.Take it to the Press (Power press)and get it cut 6x6 - cutting cost
3.Production
4.Packaging - will need plastic covers, staple them in 100s and put them in carton boxes. Brown tape or nylon belt it -
brown tape is not very reliable. It'll get opened during transportation
5. Take the boxes to the Railway station - Parcel office which is also far, hence again transportation cost
6. Parcel cost - This depends on the box size. make sure you don't put the material in a very strong box as the boxes are usually heavy and will add to the overall parcel cost. For 1.5"x3" of 5 boxes it can cost you rs. 600+ at the parcel office.
7. Take the LR copy and go to the Courier office, courier it to RS international. Courier cost Rs. 60
8. Call RS international the next day and inform them about material.
Here's the Pain ...
They will not answer phone, once they know it's you call
you call from another phone - some one will pick it and say - Sir Madam nahi hai, baad maee phone karo. (Sir Madam is not there, call back later)
Finally after multiple attempts you manage to get them. They will say they have not received the courier. After 2 weeks you call them, they will say they have received the material, it's in quality check, call back the next day.
You call them back.. they will never pick the call. after 2 days you somehow manage to get them after 25 phone call attempts. They will ask who are you, your name, from where you are calling (pretending to be unaware)
Then they will tell you, it's still in Quality.
After 4 weeks the will tell you that some of the material has been rejected and send you a check.
Man.. its.. really a painful process to deal with them..
In my opinion..
They are not serious with the business and don't care once we invest in the machine.
The Original machine cost is just half the quoted price.
This is a good business if they are prompt and proactive and keep the vendors (us) updated with the status. In a real life scenario this is not the case. If someone can afford to go to Delhi and inform their managers.. I guess there should be an outcome. Now the question, what if the manager is alike.. cause as the sayin goes. Jaisa Raj.. vaisa praja .(Like king so his people)..

I am not sure if this is really a genuine business...
