There is a charge in My 17th Sep.06 Credit Card statement of SBI Card for Rs.5000/- stating Cash withdrawal from ATM at Delhi alongwith the cash transaction fee.
I immeidately disputed as I have never travelled since more than 20 years to Delhi and provided all the necessary documents to SBI Cards Gurgaon office and the same is acknowledged by them stating they are investigating the same.
However, till today there is NO PROPER RESPONSE on this amount wrongly charged to my card a/c instead there is penalty charged for the same for non-payment.
I have sent everymonth twice mails to them to their Vice President by Name Mr.Ajay Bharti's ID and always received a response stating this is under investigation.
I have stopped using this card since May 07 and the outstanding amount only pertains to the wrong amount charged to my card in Aug.06 alongwith related charges for nonpayment of the same.
I have received a mail from them in Sep.07 the case is referred to to their dispute cell and till today NO response. Instead their recovery agents are calling daily and harassing me to pay this amount which I have turned down stating the amount is not payable.
I was surprised LEADING BANK OF INDIA is taking more than 1 year to investigate a wrong charge in their transaction apart from harassing their customers to pay the same.
I HAVE INFORMED ALL MY KNOWN FRIENDS AND RELATIVES NOT TO TAKE SBI CARD AS THEIR SERVICES ARE POOR COMPARED TO A SMALL PROVISION SHOP IN INDIA.
I WANT TO PUT THIS COMPLAINT SO THAT PEOPLE WHO READS IN INDIA OR OTHER COUNTRIES SHOULD COME TO KNOW HOW THE INDIA'S LEADING BANK IS MANAGING THEIR CREDIT CARD BUSINESS BY NOT SOLVING A DISPUTED TRANSACTION SINCE 1 YEAR.
