Sub: Issue of Credit card and charging annual fee
Dear Sir,
I Have opened the an account ( one normal account and other pension account) at the time of my retirement in SBI Anushakti nagar.
This account was opened one year back. at that time I have asked for ATM and credit card. At that time Iwas told that credit card will be issued to me with out annual fee.
But I found that after issuing the card I have not utilised it so far . but I started receiving statement first showing annual fee and second time lates fee fine added to the earlier bill .
I am an ICICI Credit card holder and they have given me the credit card with out any annual fee for life, with out opening the account there.
I have put all my pension amount in SBI bank and still they are giving a credit card with annual fee.
This looks ridiculous.
I[censored] r giving me a Credit card and add on card out with out annual fee it is acceptable to me, otherwise u r requested to cancel both these cards.

When we took the card on 23/05/2010, I was promised by their representative Ms. Ritu Shah that for the Platinum card I don’t need to pay any monthly or yearly charges & joining fee. On the condition I had received this card.
but very next moth they charged the joining fee and after discussion it was waved off and it was promised that they will not charge this type of charges in future, but this year again they have charged an annual fee.
it seems that they don't keep their own promises, or they don't keep their records updated, may be because it is a Govt. bank

SBI Credit Card — Anual FEE
When the card was made, it was assured that it will be free for life, but now the company has levy anual fee of 850. certainly in india these unfair practices are here to stay as there is no regard for customer. but i will appeal to all new customer of this bank to refrain from the promise the bank made, it is a blot to largest PSU bank of india.Now, i am cancelling my card.
