[Resolved]  SBI - Credit Card — non-receipt of monthly statements

I am a bank employee from State Bank of Hyderabad, L B Nagar branch. I am using SBI Credit Card since long time. Previously I used to get sbi monthly card statement well in time., but now a days I feel very soory to say that I am not receiving monthly statements since last 8 months. All my payments were paid keeping a separate note in my dairy. It is possible that if any entry is missed in my memory. It makes me to pay levy (which is very burden to me). I request your goodselves to despatch the monthly statements well in time to enable me to give you promopt repayment.

Credit Card — non receipt of montly statement

Dear Sir,
I am not receiving my credit card monthly statement from the last two months even assurance from your customer care executives .

sbi cc — Non receipt of monthly bills

SBI do not sent bill. Customer do not know the Min due amount and due date. If the payment made is even by a one day delayed, they charge delayed charge and next bill, they mention due date " IMMIDIATE".

This due date immidiate has no meaning. Even such due bill recevied and paid on the same day it received, they agian charge in next bill deleayed charges being not paid on due. ( What is the meaning of IMMEDIATE????????????????)

This delyed never have end. Go on putting due date Immidiate every month, Customer goes on paying bill and SBI go on adujsuting this payment as they may thing suitable.

SBI never improving though several complaint lodged.


See my earlier letter. No one has replied and I did not received the bill for last two month.

Dear Sir,

In past, a year ago, I have written you several letters regarding un satisfactory servies of SBI cards. There was no improvement. Ultimately I stopped using a SBI credit card by paying entire dues.

Hoping, that, SBI must have improved their serves, I started using card in the month of March-2008. The same problem is faced with SBI. Bills are not submitted on time. After due dates bills are receiving. We do not know the due date. After making payment, SBI is charging delayed payment penalty worth Rs.350.00. Later on due dates are mentioned IMMIDIATE. There is no meaning for word immediate? The day invoice is generated, due date is immediate and even though, amount paid soon after we receive a bill, still Rs.350.00 is again charged as delayed payment charges. This is ridicules and we are not interested to pay such useless charges at all. There is no attendance on any SBI ATMs centers. Cheques are not picked from drop boxes timely and therefore, customers are suffered. In past, many times cheques dropped in ATM centre (Khadki, Pune) are misplaced / stolen by the people. I have photo pictures of broken drop box at ATM centre at Khadki.

You are therefore, requested to please reverse Rs.700.00 charged to my card account on[protected] &[protected] Rs.350.00 respectively, failing which I am going to be lodged a serious compliant against SBI credit cards to The Director General, Investigation and Registration, Monopolies & Restrictive Trade Practices Commission, which please note.

I have paid Rs. 842.32 after deducting Rs.700.00. I am not going to be used SBI card in future. Please note that, I am a credit card holder of CITI, HDFC, and ICICI & HSBC since last 15 years. I never faced such problems with them and my payments are before due dates. I never have been a defaulter any of above card payments.

I have not received statement dated 01 July 2008 & 01 August 2008 for the SBI Credit Card no. [protected].

sbi cc — not even a single response in last 4 months

Sir/Madam
After follow up for nearly 25 days and accumulating the money with difficulty regading the settlement of my credit card account.Yesterday one person came by 4.00 pm afternoon and collected the 28000 cash as settlement amount from my wife and gave a settlement letter.When my wife asked for the Receipt he told the letter beeing original doesn needs any receipt and moreover he is from direct bank not the agency.When she asked his id proof he said he will get the xerox of it after that time he didnt returned back
Then my wife called me up,after reaching home i came to know the letter is duplicate.
It seems as if a scanned printout has been taken and handed over even without signature.

Kindly guide me how to trace that person and do the needful to recover the money.
Because with lots of difficulty i arranged the money and if the bank like sbi doesnt controls the settlement department properly then nobody will settle the card account.
Itried calling up all through night and by night 11.30 his mobile started ringing and once he saw my number he made it to switch off mode.
Since all these happened yesterday only please do the needful to trace the person and recover the money.
I can identify the person.


It has gone 4 months i have registered a case
Why so irresponsible you people are .
I doubt even bank employee will be involved in it otherwise the day i registered a complaint like that you should have taken an action but you didnt did.
If this be the case no indian citizen will go to a bank for settlement
