[Resolved]  SBI CREDIT CARD PRIVILEGE CIRCLE ofFER — New way of cheating by SBI CARD

In September 2008 I got call from plat5 on behalf of SBI cards. They said I have been selected for Privilege circle program and convinced me to accept this offer. They promised me whatever told to me will be delivered within 25 days of registration. I trusted them because they assured me this offer is from SBI. After one week I realized that I have not recieved it till november Mid then I contacted them to cancel my membership, they denied it by saying that it cannot be cancelled, though according to term and conditions I could cancel offer if I told them before making payment to SBI cards. I haven't received anything from them and helpline numbers never connect. No reponse to email either. SBI CARD have no information about this offer only interested in customers debited amount and recovery and charging kate fees, interests.Could somebody please tell me how can I take legal action against SBI cards and plat5 consulatancy.

SBI Privilege Circle offer — complaint

I have got a call in October, 2008 on mobile no. [protected] from a company referring themselves from SBI Privilege Circle and they told me that you have been selected for a free gift, no money will be charged (free of cost). Till now I have not received any thing. After sometimes they told that we charge some minimum amount. Now they send me a monthly statement, amount showing against Privilege circle fee charges Rs. 6180.00. I spoke to Executives 2-3 times, please to cancel this offer and reverse the amount shown in the statement. Today, i.e. 27.11.2008 also, I contacted Mrs. Tania and informed that I am not interested in all these things, please cancel this offer. She informed that she will tell me in next 48 hrs.

In spite of this you have sent the gift pack. My son has received the packet on 1.12.2008, he don’t know anything about the offer. Yet I have not opened the received packet.

As I already informed you that I don’t want this offer. Still I am not interested in this offer. Please advise me where I should send this packet, so that the amount of Rs. 6180/- can be reversed to my account.

similar experience is happning with me. As the offer explain during conversation over phone was far short of as told. I take up the matter with the customer care of SBI card. After that they suggested me to return the kit to an adress ay Gurgaon. After confirming the receipt of the kit, I decided to pay the monthly bill by deducting the amount billed against the priviledge circle kit. The due date is tomorow on 29th April.09. After that shall have to react as per action of the SBI Card and will be share with your organisation in time to time

yes I am fully and and some body has to take strong action against sbi previliege circle offer. which was harrasing people, forcing to accept and cheating the customer un necessarily.

sbi card previliege circle program brought me with plat5 consultancy private limited created a program for a welcome gesture in the said program and 500 reward points agreed to credit in the credit card statement and informed three packages and deducted 6180/- for previliege circle fee New Delhi through credit card Dt.[protected].In this regard i am not interested to take the advantage and hence cancel the program. Further i was not informed writtenly to deduct the 6180/- as a huge amount for this.Hence please cancel the amount already deducted and credited to my credit card account immediately and inform the latest statement for taking further necessary action.

SBI CARD (Priviledge offer) — cancel the privilege offer.

After reading the comments(Bad exp.) of all the customers of SBI card..I cancel this offer within a week .Even I got a call from their executive ..he has enquired abt the matter..why I am cancelling this offer..when I told them I hv a very bad experience afetr reading the comments of all customers. So he told me that we are cancelling ur kit..but u hv to pay some 300 rs as cancellation fees.I told him..ok.

But afetr 15 days they hv send me the kit..delivery boy he kept that kit to my society's watchman without informing me.The same day I got a call from sbicard executive she has told me as the kit is reached to u safely (doesn't matter who hv accepted this kit.)..u hv to accept it..what is this nonsence.
As the kit is not received me or my any family member...

The next day I got a call from executive ..and when I told her abt this matter ..she apolozige me and told me to return this kit ...Can Anybody told me whether I should return this kit to their Delhi address ..the kit is not received by me..or shold I tell them to collect it themselves(as the acknowledgement receipt is not signed by me or my any family members.)

i saw the statement of my sbi card and saw that an amount of 6077/- has been debited from my account as priviledge fee. i contacted them and they said that sbi card had a talk with me and had confirmed me to take the offer, but i didnt had any call from them and i asked them to reverse the amount as such offer was not taken by me. they assured me to reverse the amount after having confirmation on my phone. till now they didnt call me and confirmed about it. also i told them that i have denied about this offer previously also. please make my payment to be reversed.

I had also subscribed to the privilege circle programme and except for a cheap watch I have not received any benefit and there is nobody to attend to the complaint

I am also cheated by the same thing. I have not even received anything from them after two and half months.

Is there any way to take legal action against these cheaters.

I was also the victim of privlege circle program from plat 5 consultancy. on Phone they convince to accept the offer and then charge for the program for a huge amount of 6067 Rs without giving terms and condition on phone. If you reject it then there is a reversal charge applied( around 4000Rs.). For what the reversal charges is leveid? neither processesd any document, no booking. In the name of SBI plat 5 consultancy is taking undue advantage.

This is the worst programe I ever seen in any credit card. They are just making fool to everybody. Please don't participate in this programme. I have mailed them but there is no responce. They offer on phone that they are taking one time fee and after that every 3-4 months, they will provide special offers free of cost but there is nothing I have received from there even it has passed more that one year to subscribed this program.

Fortunately, my experience with the SBI/PLAT5 was wonderful. I agree there are people (organizations) who are cheating innocent customers in order to mint money but Plat 5 has come up with its own kind of products/services which are really helpful in terms of saving money.

I agreed to take up the benefits of the offer only when, I have seen all the “Terms & Conditions” for the same in writing. The customer care executive was diligent enough in guiding me through the website (SBI) & take me through with every single “T & C” mentioned on that page.

I would say its one of the best opportunities provided by SBI in association with PLAT5.

I went for holiday with my family to Phoneix Park Inn in Goa through holiday offer by Plat5 Consultancy. It ws indeed a memorable trip for me.

Its bit surprising to see so many complaints for this program. I have utilized all the benefits of it didnt get any chance to complain about anything to Bank/Plat5. Waiting for new offers soon...

I am an sbi card holder for the past 5 years...im very happy with the services which they provided me from time to time..they always update with me their new programs which they launches from time to time...

I ttok this program 6 months back over phone & got extra points on my card & a wonderful trip. Thanks to bank
