[Resolved]  SBI India — inter city charges

My account is in SBI Dindori(mp).i have deposit Rs 2000/- to my account no. [protected] at SBI same branch on 19/10/2010.
SBI Dindori deducted Rs 25/- from my account as a inter city charges as my bank(sbi dindori) falls under same city of dindori mp.

Sir i only want to enquire, is there any charges of depositing amount in same bank through other branch of SBI INDIA.

Why the State bank of india is taking INTER CITY CHARGES for depost money to account in non home branch. Deposit money Rs.2000/[protected] and inter city charges Rs. 25/-.

sir if i transfer my fund thorugh internet banking from my citi bank account to SBI account is their any amount would be deducted from my SBI account on behalf of intercity charges????

state bank of india-chidambaram branch — unsuccessful fund transfer

Dear Sir/Madam,

i am prasanna. an SBI account holder at chidambaram branch ( Tamil nadu).my Account no is [protected].
Am also using Mobile Banking Facility Of that Bank. ON 4th Feb 2011 i transferred Rs.,5400 to a Karur Vysya Bank Account Holder. his account number of that bank is [protected]. the IFSC code of that bank's branch is KVBL0001267. the money has been taken from my account and i receive a transaction id message also.The transaction id is[protected]. today is 11th February 2011, still the money is not getting transferred to that account. please take necessary action to transfer money to that account or at least return back my money into my SBI account. please make the action as soon as possible. it is urgent.

I did my first transaction in sbi and i have been charged 33 rs for inter city charges from SBI. I didn't see such kind of charges from other banks. This is really pathetic service providing by SBI. Now on words i don't want to do any single transaction from sbi a/c. I really want to suggest to avoid use of sbi service.

I have a savings account in SBI, Anna University. An amount of Rs. 3336 was deposited at Madras University Branch of SBI and the bank deducted Rs. 25 as intercity charges. As many others I am also expressing my anguish over this and I am seriously thinking of closing the account

This is Anita. My account is in SBI(Ahmedabad, Branch).. My friend deposited amount 1500 in to my account . He was deposited in same branch, Ahmedabad at the same SBI Branch. But SBI deducted 25 Rs inter city charges. Sir i only want to enquire, is there any charges of depositing amount in same bank through other branch of SBI INDIA.

He was deposited in Gaziyabad, delhi at the SBI Branch. so tell me which amount sbi dedecuted as inter city charges. This is Debajay G. my account is with SBI (Industrial Estate, Branch - Visakahpatnam) Account #[protected]. On 8the May, 2012 I deposited 20, 000/- in to my account with Seetamdhara Branch. But SBI has deducted Rs. 40 as inter branch fee for the transaction.

Being such a standard organization in Banking industry, I don't understand why SBI deal with such cheap tricks. I want to remind once again that "I am depositing for the same Bank with different branch in same city" I think it will hardly cost your employees for doing all this transaction through Internet service.

You guys are forgetting that your customer is your back bone for your banking industry, if there is no customer - no business...!!!

Concentrate regarding to this (inter branch fee) issue and bring your focus on it ASAP and let your customers get satisfied with all your given services.

Sir, i have an account in Nambur (Guntur dist) SBI Branch and my friend transferred Rs 7000 through online from hyderabad Branch. An amount of Rs 56 was deducted as "INTER BRCH FEE". I want to know about this inter branch fee and at what rate amount will be deducted under this service.

I am SANJAY VYAS from JODHPUR. I have my account in U.I.T. SBI Branch. I have deposited Rs.3000 in account through cash deposite slip in SBI HIGH COURT CAMPUS BRANCH . Bank has debited Rs.25 from my account. I am surprise to that. SBI HIGH COURT CAMPUS BRANCH deducted Rs 25/- from my account as a inter city charges as my bank(U.I.T. SBI Branch) falls under same district of Jodhpur (both banks only 04km away from each other).

I asked to RBI that in the same bank this is fair that bank charged this type bank charges ?

This is not good for middle class people. for depost money to bank accout. 25 rupees is not small...

Please SBI will tell me what's going on, which type of service they were providing to their customer.
I am suffering from this grevinces.

I'm Vaishali, an SBI account holder.I have deposited cash of Rs 12000 from a SBI branch of Bangalore to my Home branch which is Bhopal and they have deducted Rs 25 as Inter branch fees. I want to know even though I did my transaction from SBI to SBI why they deducted the money and on what basis. I want a clear explanation of it. I want to know is there any rule like this. Its not good this bank which has got so many customers who believe in them is doing like this. Its very disgraceful.. :(

I'am Utpal Roy my A/c is in SBI branch at (Naxal Bari) District-Darjeeling, but i deposit Rs.5, 000 /- in my A/c at Alipurduar Sbi Branch . i want to know that why Rs.50/- has been deducted from my A/c for Inter Branch Transfer . i think is it wrong ??

This is too too too high.

But last time it will charged Rs. 10/- now Rs. 50/- Means Rs. 40/- Extra. Why for it .

Hi...Me Ashutosh kr, a/c no [protected].My friend deposited in my ac rs2000 which i earlier gave him...but when he deposited in my ac back sbi will charge rs 50 from my ac.Whhy this..Now I get only rs 1950..Is it good to charge this even when deposited in the same bank.I am woried what type of service sbi will providing...Even I, My brother also has union bank of india ac and when I send money from other state branch they didnt charge any money..He get full amount.Is sbi is doing good...Is sbi cheating people...Also the branch service is very poor...

i deposited 500 rupees in my account at vizag (maddilapalem) branch.sbi charges 50 rupees as inter bank charge.thats why i have only 450 rupees in my account.i want to know what is the exact inter bank charges in sbi.

PLEASE STOP NON HOME DEPOSIT CHARGES .INDIAN BANK IS GOOD. THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT OF GREEN REMIT CARD AND TRANSACTION IS FREE.
