[Resolved]  SBI Ppf — PPF ACCOUNT CLOSURE

I have PPF account at Surat SBI post office, Presently i am living at zADESHWAR rOAD, nEAR PRATHNA VIDHYALAYA, Bharuch, i want to shift to bharuch.
My acc.No: 26183, state bank of India Surat.
Please help for this.

PPF account from Surat can be transferred to your place of living. I have done such transfer from SBI Bangalore to SBH, Hyderabad. They will open a new a/c and post the amount. But at the time of final payment, they may complicate the case as date of opening at the new place will not be completing 15 years as the account was at some other place for some years. I am yet to face this situation.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a PPF account in Ahemadabad branch of Gurarat state . Can I deposit money in any other SBI br of in india and get receipt for the same and i have enquired in some SBI branches, they were did not accept the money to deposit my PPF account. please give ur suggestion on that.

I am having an PPF account since 17 years. I want to close this account and purchase a house. Is this possible? The reason for closure is that my only son child has expired at the age of 25 years.Else can I get loan for purchaing house and how much amount of my present balance.

As Nagendra told that the account can be transferred from one place to another, I just want to know the Process.Presently i am staying in HYD but my account is in Blore.They are asking me to go to bangalore in person and close the account.Is it so.What is the procedure that you followed Nagendra?Can you please help me out.

I have PPF Account in Navi Mumbai, but nowi have shifted to Ahmedabad, and my installment for this financial year i.e.[protected] is pending.But i have written an application for A/c transfer 2 months back, and after it gets transferred, then only i can pay the installment.But in this case what will happen.Like would my PPf A/c lapse.Or there is some extra charge to pay as late fees.
Please reply my query.

My mother who is 75 years wants to fore close her PPF account (before 15 years period of PPF term) since she can not walk and finds difficult to operate the account. Pl. advise the procedure to be followed for fore closure.

but in account passbook print MAHENDRA KUMAR SATYANARAYAN DWIVEDI here satyanarayan is my father name so correction regards metter i have sent a application to your dept. but pls. give me a mail for correction status with correction details .

Respected Sir,

I had deposited a Cheque No. 019103 Dt. 02/07/2008 of IDBI Bank for Rs. 20, 000/- in My above PPF A/c. No. [protected] in Vasna Branch of SBI and debited in My IDBI Bank A/c as on dt. 03/07/2008, but it credited in My PPF account as on dt. 26/03/2008.

Pl. give me advice what I have to do ?
