[Resolved]  Sigma Express Courier — POOR SERVICE

I'm Dr. Rema Rajan living in Koparkhairane. I wish to lodge a complaint about Sigma Express Courier . In response to a 'sorry' note left by the courier on 15.3.11, I called the office on 16.3.11 at around 10 am. I was told that the document has been taken by the delivery boy and will be delivered between 11am and 7pm on 16.3.11. Till 6pm it was not delivered so I called the courier office at Sanpada on the number 42017000 provided on the sorry note. I tried at least a dozen times in 1 hr but no one picked up. On a couple of occasions it was cut. I was desperate to tell them not to send the document back. The next day I called at 9.30 am. They did not give an answer on why it was not delivered the previous day and kept me indefinitely on hold when I asked if the document was returned. I wanted to complain to a higher-up but none came to the phone. I was then told by a lady called Jyothi that the document was returned after 3 days. It was received by them on 12.3.11. If a delivery was attempted before 15/3, I did not know about it since there was no notification. The document is from ICICI bank. I wonder why reputed banks resort to incompetant courier services. I have still not received my document.
