[Resolved]  Spectramind Marketing — Free Offer DTH connection with LG TV

I purchased 2 LG LCD 32LH20R TV sets from X-Cite Electronics, Sector 35C, Chandigarh on 29th June'09 against Bill No RET - 644. As per the offer, one DTH connection was to be provided free with each TV.

The TV sets were delivered on 29th June.

On 8th July, I sent following documents by regd post in one envelope to M/S Spectramind Marketing, Noida as per the terms set out:
1) Two Drafts of Rs 99 each
2) Two coupons duly completed number 231788 and 231755
3) Two Bar code stickers - one from each TV box
4) One copy of Bill (only one bill had been issued for 2 TV sets)

On 23rd July I was informed by SMS that one DTH connection had been rejected - no reason was given.
After making at least 10 calls to Spectramind Marketing since 23rd July, we were told today that the rejection was due to there being only one bill copy. The person in customer care Mr Manish was explained that only one bill had been issued for 2 TVs but he refused to listen or transfer the call to any senior executive.
The bill clearly mentioned "2 Pcs TV sets" etc.

Through this I want to highlight how both LG and Spectramind have combined to play fraud with customers. All LG prospective customers are warned about this to beware of their promotional offers.
I am surprised that a company like LG is involved in such cheap fraud with Spectramind Marketing

If it is fact, its totally unfair. An it might be true, as I might also face the same problem in a week's time. I am just waiting for the last day of their promise or offer. An may I know whom should I approach for complain if it happens with me too. Because I planned to buy Samsung LCD but as the Dealer told me about the offer that they would provide DTH connection free and 6 months free channels, so I bought it. But I have lots of doubt now as no one is concern.

With this product i have also got the promotional offer of DTH SET TOP
BOX with six month subscription for free, and for that i have filled
the application form of spectramind marketing ltd having S No. 145959
and send the same with all necessary required documents and a demand
draft of Rs 99 to them on 29/06/2009 via DTDC COURIER service having
consignment number Z94867999

Unfortunately, i have not recieved the set top box and subscription
till date. Please look into the matter and send the same as early as
possible.

I meenakshi mishra resident of lucknow purchased a LG lcd tv model no.32LH20R from jumbo electronics Lucknow on 21/06/2009 through invoice no.3123..Along with purchase i got commitment aswell as one coupon no.147201 & told to send this coupon along with D.D of Rs 99/ to get free set top box of either airtel or tatasky or sun tv with 6 months free subscription .I send the same along with dd of rs 99/ made in favour of spectramind private ltd dt.25/06/09 dd no.083987 of icici bank & send the same to address written on coupon. I also recieved a message from spectramind stating your claim is valid & your dth will install within 10 day. but i am sorry to say that till date i have not recieved the same.
so pls do needful to install dth immediately.

also i completed all formalities for purchase bill, DTH claim coupon (DD of Rs. 99/- ) LG MOnitor TV ( S.No.- 906NLHV005609 ) .

But still i did't got any service from your side till date .
Kindly please have a look at this matter and reply me as soon as possible .

I got a commintnent of set top box with free installation and 6 months subscription free.I have recieved the all the items bt out of all the coupens i recieved are already used bfore recieved, i have recieved 3 coupens (RC 500, RC 500, RC 300). Plz help me out as soon as possible.

I too purchased a LG LCD TV and sent in all the documents including the bar code. I got an sms that it is being processed but since then there has been no communication.
Iam really shocked and want to take this to consumer forum.
can any one help me in this regard.

Total fraud company..spectramind marketing is fraud company. they are not picking the phone now...

I am Biswanath Sahoo, I bought a LG Lcd 32LH20R From Vijay Sales, Goregoan (E), Mumbai on 1st of July 2009, according to the offer they provided me a coupon to get a free DTH connection of Tata Sky or Airtel or Sun from Spectramind Marketing Pvt Ltd, Noida. For that you have to send the duly filled coupon, Bar code cutout from the TV carton, photocopy of the original bill and DD of Rs.99. I send them everything on 6th of July 2009, and they received it on 8th of July 2009 through DTDC Courier consignment No.M45365156.
After few days as I did not received any acknowlegdement from them I the made call to know the status of my coupon, after trying after Nth number of time I could able to get connected to customer care a man picked up the call and said my coupon no. 140449 has been accepted it is under process and I will get the product within 3-4 weeks as they mentoined in the agreements. After about 10 days as I dont received the set top box I made the second call which was like the first time only, after trying a lot I get connected to CC this time it was Lady quiet busy with something was very rudely speaking said that the internet is not working and I have to hold the line to know status, I waited and she got busy chatting with someone else keeping me listening there conversesion after about 5-7 mins when I shouted on th phone she responded asked me the coupon No. and toid me the product is with despatch department and as I have already waited for 3 weeks I should wait for another said 1 week to get it. Now its been more than 4 weeks I have not received my DTH Connection Set top box yet, and when I try to call them now the phone line [protected] is always busy.

Along with purchase i got commitment as well as one coupon no.232787 & told to send this coupon along with D.D of Rs 99/ to get free set top box of either airtel or tatasky or sun tv with 6 months free subscription. I sent the same along with dd of rs 99/ made in favour of spectramind private ltd dt.04-08-09 sent the same to address written on coupon. I called up the office so many times but no one receive the phone. I didnt recieved any message from spectramind stating my claim so please see to it that i receive the product as soon as possible.

In this case, raise a case with consumer forum. Apart from getting what was promised, you will be eligible for hefty compensation too. Check with consumer court lawyer in your area,

Even I have purchased LG LCD TV and sent all the required documents (including DD) but yet to receive any DTH. I think we all should lodge a complaint in consumer forum.

I Mr. Rubul Ch Dutta resident of Jorhat Assam purchased a LG LCD TV from Tarang appliance Guwahati assam vide cash memo no.558 Dt25/07/09. I got a commitment to get an Air Tel set top box free with 3months subscreption.As per their advice I deposited a sum of Rs.99/ DD o[censored]BI in favour of Spectramind Marketing pvt ltd dt26/07/09to have the instrument.Thereafter one month has already passed but till now I have not receive any thing. We purchased LG LCD 26 LH20R TV from Maharashtra electronics, Pune on 19th July, 2009.

With the purchase there were 2 offers.
1. Free LG DVD Player
2. Free DTH connection with 6 Months subscription.

We got the free DVD Player along with our TV from Maharashtra electronics.
Were as for DTH Connection the required formalities as suggested in the offer coupon supplied with the TV were sent to your Offer Marketing Tie up company Spectramind Marketing Private Ltd.

Following documents / xerox of document as needed were sent by courier within 2 weeks time from the date of purchase mentioned above.

- Orig. duly filled Coupon No. 234678 (with TATA Sky as the choice of DTH Player),
- Rs 99 DD No. 542102, issued by ICICI Bank with Drawee Branch at Noida.
- Xerox of Invoice / Receipt of Purchase from Maharashtra Electronics Ltd.
- Orig. Bar Code Cut out of Packing box of LCD TV, S. No.: 906LPJK018060.

Inspite of repeated Reminder on mails to your various email ids like [protected]@spectramind.in, [protected]@spectramind.in, and trying to call their NOIDA nos. there has been no response / reply at all.
Its been more then 2 months now after I bought my first DREAM LCD TV for my family and I have been waiting to get the assured offer made to me at the time of purchase, which was one the strong reasons for my family to buy LG LCD TV compared to other equivalent better brands.

As a consumer I feel cheated by LG and Spectramind organizations and I don't see any sign of my Free DTH connection / Settop Box being sent to me.

I will take this matter further with Consumer Court to settle as per defined Jurisdiction.

As a consumer my feedback is negative about LG product and I will never recommend anyone to buy LG product because of its fraudulent scheme and its irresponsible marketing scheme and partners like Spectramind.

Please consider as serious complaint, as this will impact your branding in India.
