I HAVE RECEIVED THE CHEQUE AS DETAILED IN MY LETTER BUT...
WHY THEY ARE PLAYING WITH HARD EARN MONEY OF PUBLIC...
AFTER 3 MONTH THEY SENT A CHEQUE WHICH IS ALREADY EXPIRED.

NOW EVEN AFTER 10 DAYS NO REPLAY...

PLEASE ADVICE WHAT TO DO?

I would like to bring your kind attention towards some of the facts as below:

" That on 16th July 2009, I received redemption warrant No.212537 for Rs. 45, 221/- dated 13th April 2009 on Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd (Original warrant enclosed herewith).

" On checking it is found that this was posted on 7th July 2009 nearly after two and half month of cheque preparation date (The Xerox of the EMS envelop is enclosed for your ready reference). So, it is very clear that the validity of the warrant was over on 12th July 2009.

" It is great surprise that after several reminder letters and email to you since Mar 2009, I received an invalid warrant. Why it is happening even with a Govt. company?

" ONE MORE surprising fact that you have deducted TDS Rs. 4, 779.00, why it is deducted when I had already submitted you the prescribed form 15G in duplicate. (Xerox is enclosed herewith)

" I am a housewife with very limited source of income which is never crossed the tax limit. Even the income from SSNL-DDB will not cross the limit.

I therefore request you to re-issue a new warrant for Rs. 50, 000/- or Remit directly to my bank account No. [protected] on Syndicate Bank, Burrabazar Branch, Kolkata .

Your early action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Dear Sir/Madam,
My husband Mr. Ajit Kr. Sikder, resident of 30/H/17, Radha Madhab Dutta Garden Lane, Beliaghata, Kolkata-700 010 had purchased SSNNL Deep Discount Bond 1993 of Rs. 1, 11, 000/- each issued at discount price of Rs. 3, 600/- on 07.01.1995 jointly with the name of the undersigned (registered folio No. SN 493075, certificate No. 516517 & date of maturity 11.01.2014). But my beloved husband has suddenly been expired on 02.11.2007 and the matter was informed to you with a copy of his death certificate and you were duly informed about my following changed address for communication. Afterwards, I approached before you for deletion of the name of Mr. Ajit Kr. Sikder and inclusion of the name of elder daughter Smt. Archana Roy vide my letter dated 09.04.08. In response, you had sought for the original bond certificate along with certified true copy of death certificate for deletion of name vide your letter dated 23.04.08. On good faith I had sent the original bond certifiate (neither undertaking nor countersigned for redemption) for rectification / inclusion of name of the bond-holder. But you had issued a cheque in the name of "Shri Ajit Kr. Sikder" (who is already dead!) through a registered letter No. 62293. But the postal authority had denied to handed it over to me as the same was addressed to a dead person.

Now my question is that, where I have not optioned for redemption in any way, why you have issed pre-mature cheque towards redemption of bond before the date of maturity without my consent? You had asked for the original bond certificate for change of names of bond-holders only. Is it solicited?

Please return my original and rectified / fresh bond certificate so that I can obtain the full amount of Rs. 1, 11, 000/- after maturity of the bond on 11.01.2014.

Dear Sir/Madam.
I have one no.SSNNL deep discount bond distinctive no.529573 & certificate no.529573 under Folio no.SN 503937, issue price Rs.3600/- and Face value Rs.1, 11, 000/-, in the names of Kiran Saxena, Deepak Saxena and Surendra Sahai Saxena.This bond was issued to me on[protected]. After completion of maturity date ie.[protected], I wrote for the refund of Face value ie.Rs.1, 11, 000/ In reply I was informed that the bond has already been redeemed in 2009 and Face value Rs.50, 000/-.I was never informed for this early redemption date, neither there is any printed condition of early redemption in the bond.I am sure that the SSNNL authorities can't change or add arbitrarily any of the conditions of the bond as per rules.If I receive the redemption amount of Rs.50, 000/-, then who is responsible for the interest etc.from January 2009 to January 2014.
It is therefore requested that I may very kindly be advised at your end at the earliest as to what action I should take now, for which I shall be very thankful to you.Two bond holders are however senior Citizens.
