[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Non receipt of renewed credit card

My present SBI Credit Card expired 04/08 and I have paid the renewal fee of Rs.581-90 on 16.05.2008 and left India on 26th May 2008 to USA and returned ti Chennai in Sept third week. Till this date the renewed card is not sent. I contacted your office in middle of October 2008 and I explained the details to one Mr. Karthikeyan and he said a staff member of your concern will come for enquiry to find out the details. One Mr. Yusuf came to my house and enquired all details and I explained the position. To my surorise till this date I have not received my card. My old card No.[protected] and no payment is due.

have received sms from your SBI card department on 6th May,
2008 stating that my renewed SBI Card has been despatched
through Elbe Courier vide Ref.No. SB[protected]. I am yet to
receive the said card till date.

SBI Credit Card — NON RECEIPT OF RENEWAL CARD

My credit card is valid upto July, 2008.

I have received a SMS on 04.06.2008 stating that my renewed credit card has been despatched through ELBEE Courier and I will be receiving the same within 7 days. But 14 days have passed and still I am waiting to receive the renewed card.

I think that there was no need to SMS me about despatch details. I have four credit cards other than SBI. If you think that I am dependant upon SBI, you are mistaken.
