[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Rude behaviour of the official

Sir,
I hereby want to lodge a complaint against SBI, gmch branch, guwahati, assam.
Today at 11:49 am i recieved token no CS230 for making a draft to secretary, CBSE, DELHI-110092 for filling up the examination form of AIEEE in da name of my son Ashim jyoti Choudhury. When my turn arrived the official at counter no. 4 simply told me dat he cannot issue a demand draft as the transaction time was over and that extended hour was going on. I waited there for almost 2 hours. I am a patient of hypertension. When i asked him to issue the draft as it was very urgent as the form has to reach Delhi before fifth of january 2009, he just acted very rudely. He said that he will do all the transactions except issuing demand draft. When i approached the branch manager even he was reluctant to hear my plea. I have retired from department of post as office superintendent from Meghdoot Bhawan, the head office of postal dept. in Assam. I have give service for almost 48 yrs but never in my life i have behaved in such a rude manner to any person approaching me for any kind of service and i could never imagine such behaviour from a responsible officer of SBI. So, i request you to take appropriate action against the errant officer of SBI, GMCH branch. While issuing the token i was not told that if the transaction time is over draft will not be issued. Otherwise I would not have waisted 2 long hours standing at the queue. Hence, I kindly plea you to look into the matter and take appropriate action at the earliest.
