[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Demand draft

on 13th aug i went to take a demand draft from my account in state bank of india thennampalayam tiruppur but i didnt received the demand draft by end of the day after having big conversation with managers only i am receiving the demand draft this how they treat a customer for issusing the demand draft i never execepted this kind of behaviour from your staff i reguest you people to show some respect for humans

I need two a demand draft of rs 200 and I am trying for it for past four days with my SBI branch: mantralaya raipur.
first day at the 11 am the person in SBI told me to come next day, he told that he is very busy . Next day I waited for him for 1 hour and finally he said that you are late so come next day .

yesterday (i.e. next day) was a holiday .
today I must get that Demand Draft because tomorrow the last date of my form submission (by post ).
Today at 10.40 am again I finally submitted the request form and got the slip. the same person told me to come and collect DD at 1PM I went there and asked for DD . Now I do not know he got angry and used started using abusive language .

Now I cant submit my form.
I really want justice.

Demand Draft of SBI Bank — Not receive the DD of my client.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I took a DD for Rs.30, 000 from SBI(Electronic city branch) on 29-Jan-2008 in favour of ICICI Limited payable at mysore.

Sad thing is that I have not taken xerox of the DD and the counterfoil is also not with me.

The organization to whome I have submitted my DD are now telling that I have not submitted any DD and if so they are asking proof for that.

I dont have any proof.

Kindly help me in this issue.

I have made a demand draft no "5861466 from SBI, (branch Code 000171) on 05/07/09 Rs 2600/- as a exam fee of IGNOU.But it was missing and last date of submission is gone.now i go to bank and say that they cancel or make duplicate to pay this amount to me.neither they cancel nor they issue me the duplicate dd.

Pl suggest me what i do?

you should meet the branch manager of the bank u have applied for or then go to consumer complains i dont know the telephone number but u can get it from anywhere. or the head of the branch of the bank.

i am a customer of SBI Bank. For receiving Cheque book I have given 2 times Appplication to the Rajkot Jagnath Branch. But still they have not issued cheque book to me.Plz reply

how can i get a DD done through net if I do not have an account with SBI??

Sir, i have send a DD by speed post to IGNOU Regional Centre Patna to take admission in the Programme BLIS(Bachelor of Library and Information Science). But no any information has been sent to me by any means of communication till date. I want to know about my DD No. "275879" dated 05/10/2009 Drawee Branch: Lunglei Mizoram has been encashed or not. If it is encashed then i will be sure that my admission process has get started and the inforamtion about it i will get very soon.

sir the ddress which i have given in the dd was wrong so now i want to change the address with the sane dd number...is it possible...????????...plzzzz reply soon...

Can I cancel the Demand Draft made from a bank at kota in Lucknow itself. Is it feasible and what would be the charges for it?

Ref No: DD No 354352, Issue date-, Favoring Name Mukesh Kumar, Amount-9,965=Drawn on Service Branch Delhi.

We have tried our best with the concerned branch manager for issue a duplicate draft in lieu of old mutilated from last one Year, but there is no response of our correspondences, whereas we have send all related documents to said bank. Kindly do the needful as early as possible. Your quick and prompt action shall be highly appreciated.

Which Bank should I make Demand Draft from for taking admission in Ignou for my M.com? Only Axis Bank or any other Banks can issue DD towards IGNOU ?
