[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Very harsh and unhelpful customer service!

Hi,

I want cancel my card please give the information how to cancel the card and i want to talk with customer care & give the number .

Sir,

There is long pending case for the clearance of my account of SBI Card No. [protected] but despite my repeated request no body of the concerned staff in your office has taken any interest to check the concerned accounts and the matter is linger on. I am also receiving threating calls from your office and causing me mental pain.

Actually Rs. 4033 had been transferred through cheque no. 968544 dated 15.2.06 from my saving account State Bank of Patiala NDRI Branch Karnal to your SBI Credit Cards account no. [protected] State Bank of India main branch Karnal.

Kindly take necessary steps to check your above accounts and issue me no dues certificate against above credit card no. [protected] and necessary action against the concerned staff.

Your office is not settling the account of my credit card and I am receiving threating calls from your office.

Good Morning Everybody,
The worst service first they do mistake and behave extraordinary and when you request they will teach you law. Basically i am from male once i applied for demand draft and they put wrong account number in my demand draft when i asked them to make stop payment for old Demand draft and issue new one they have not done that means we need to pay for their mistake there is no courtesy i don't feel bad if foreign banks are coming and we are having account with them because at least they respect you as a customer. This time i sent Demand draft as it was very urgent it has not reached to my home bank so i requested the male branch manager he was teaching me that its financial instrument and all, as per my knowledge there should not be any problem in making stop payment and issuing new demand draft.
Honestly speaking i really don't like but when there is no option rather than going for this State Bank of India.

My credit card no is [protected]. I want to surrender my credit card.In the month of January'09 I had cleared all the outsatnding dues of rs 418/-. There was no outstanding balance on me. However, in the month of January'09 there was not a single transaction, but the card statement dated 25th January a sum of Rs 49.41 is shown as outstanding against me and the same is to be paid before 14th February'2009. As I have cleared my outstanding I will not go to pay further.

Therefore I request you to dectivate my card. I will send the cut pieces of the card to your office through regd post.

Dear Sir
I had SBI Credit Card No. [protected]. which already expired on 30/09/2008. For I have already made payments for the period till expiry of the card. Since then neither I have applied for renewal of SBI card nor received renewed credit card till date. This has been resulted in non single purchasing/after expiry date of the card i.e. 30/09/2008.
I am not interested to continued Royal Sundarm Insurance Policy for which I am getting your payment statement including interest. It is great surprise to mention here that without consent SBI card division have been renewed Royal Sundarm Insurance Policy and debited premium along with interest to my credit card account which is totally disagreed. Your are kindly therefore requested to discontinue sending outstanding credit card statement and giving unnecessary trouble over mobile phone.
Hope you will agreed above and do the needful in the matter without giving me further trouble since the transaction made by you without consent and also without receipt renewed credit card to the card holder.

Respected Sir,

Myself Satveer Singh Using Sbi credit card from last 3 years, the card is active in process, the problem is this i have applied for loan from some other bank but due to negative in civil the got rejected, the reason i have recd from the bank was the card is showing writeoff though my creid is in active process. Request to you kindly rectify the things and clear my card from the writeoff and also i have not reciving my card statement from last 3 months, please send statement on above mail id and also arrange some person to collect apaymenton monthly basis.

Dear Sir,

This is my humble request to you that amount I have consumed from my credit card number [protected] only Rs.260/- at Reliance Fresh, Bopal Ahmedabad.

The problem is, now your bank is charging some extra penalties and amount has became Rs.15, 599.06/-.

They are harassing me like anything. Anywhere when I am sleeping or else I am driving or having lunch-dinner, they call me very frequent in a day .It is really a mental harassment for any of your customers.

I would personally request you to look into the matter as the variance is too far from the actual amount has to be paid. I want to close the credit card by paying actual amount and finish the matter.

I had used SBI credit card and paid within due date.At last the balance grew and made agreement and gave three postdated cks by 072007 and it was cleared. Later sbi starts sending bill adding interest, min amt and service charge, now they get my current job details from someway and forced to pay the balance of now otherwise collectionagent might call to my HR. Totally upset because of this even i paid and they never sent a settlement letter.
What is the solution for this

I applied a SBI Credit card .My Application no was[protected].Yesterday I got a sms that my request has been declined due to non contactable by you despite lots of efforts.Whenever I received calls I confirmed this.

Still I am surprised to see this reason as I receive calls every day every hour and minute.

This is first time when I had applied a new card from SBI I was expecting good services from you as I have a saving account in SBI but right now I am feeling very disappointing as I was not satisfied with your lame/Fake excuse.

We have no listening.No body called me from your side. Sending a decline request sms to a customer is a kind of customer insult.Its means you are blaming customer instead you.
I strong agree with the complaints on SBI card. A simple example of mine may be useful to the readers. There was a cash back announced by SBI. I purchased something and converted it into 6 EMIs. I have to receive cash back of 1500/-. I am paying my EMI every month promptly. At the same time online I used to see the statement. During one month, Rs. 1500/- credited to my account. I have pay an EMI of Seven thousand and odd. After seeing 1500 credit, I paid 6500. Next month i received a call and asked to pay the EMI. I have explained the episode to them saying 1500 + 6500 is totaling to EMI even it is more. To my surprise, Cash back can not be added with EMI which they never told me. Over and above, I am charged around 60/- against insurance which I opposed. This happen during 2008 and still continuing today. I am planning to go to Ombudsman.

The nasty service I have ever come across.
