THIS CARD SHOULD BE BEST AVOIDED,SINCE IT IS THE WORST WITH REGARD TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ,WHERE EVEN THE AVP IS NOT ABLE TO TAKE DECISIONS. THEY TEND TO RELY MORE ON THE FINE PRINT TO DENY THE CUSTOMER THE BENEFIT OF ANY CAMPAIGN & THEIR CONTESTS ARE WORTH AVOIDING [ THEY ALSO HAVE MANY HIDDEN CLAUSES ].THE MATTER EXTENDS FOR MONTHS TOGETHER RATHER THAN ANYTHING CONCRETE HAPPENING.THEY ARE THEMSELVES NOT SURE AS TO WHEN THINGS WILL GET RESOLVED FOR ANY PARTICULAR ISSUE.POINTS WISE ALSO FOR REDEMPTION THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST CARD. I had applied for the SBI card through SBI porur branch after showing certain fixed deposit. I applied it in the month of Sep 2010 and received the card only in January. Meanwhile I had received three statement regarding my due though I had not received the card.
The problem is I could not use this card since the card is not activated. I had contacted the representative of SBI Porur branch and he had given a phone number of a person of SBI Card Cell, who will activate the card.
When I contacted this person, he had given another phone number and I had contacted the person and they replyed me that they were not dealing with the card.
Again I try to contact the first one and getting only dial tone but no answer.
I request my fellow citizen to avoid this card. Looks like a cheating team sitting and working to cheat the customers.
