I have SBI credit card ([protected]).They had wrongly chrged Yearly & add on credit card charges, which they had agreed to not charge it before renuing my card. After informing them they had reversed the charges, but they had started charging interest & late charges against the charges which was being char4ged because of there mistake. After calling them they are asking as to pay interest, however they are ready to give as credit for the same, but why will i pay interest on charges which was not correct. Respected Sir,

I am Mr Ramar S, I have taken SBI credit card about one and half year back. My SBI Credit card Number is [protected]. I have never used the card from my side to purchase any items. One year back, I was forced to take Royal Sundaram Insurance by the SBI Credit card section at a monthly payment of Rs.99 for a period of one Year. I was not able to pay the 99 rupees in time and requested the SBI credit card section that I don’t want any insurance and revert all the charges and close my Credit card account permanently. The SBI credit card section reverted partial amount and they did not close my account. They kept my account alive even after my repeated request by e-mail to cancel my account. They keep on adding additional charges, late fee and other charges and in December 2008, one person called me from SBI credit card and he told that if I pay Rs.600, he will close my account. I paid the amount by cheque. But they have not closed the account till today. I received a call from SBI credit card section: phone: [protected] on[protected] at 2.39 PM. He has threatened me that if I don’t pay the amount, he will take the amount from my Savings Bank account. Due to this unwanted threatening, I am getting disturbed a lot and I am not able to sleep properly and not able to pay proper attention on my work. Could you please kindly help me to close this issue permanently?.
