Hi,

I am having SBI Savings Bank Account(Account Number-[protected]) at following Branch:-

STATE BANK OF INDIA

I applied for SBI Internet Banking by duly filling the Internet Banking form and giving it to the Branch Manager Mr Singhal.The Manager asked me to come after 2 weeks because he was on leave for next week.I went there after 2 weekds and asked if the Login id and password has been generated for the Internet banking account,but manager said that he had lost the form and it was not processed.

After some days I went to the same branch again and gave the new form again to the manager after filling it.The manager said me that I will get an email confirmation regarding the same in 3-4 days.10 days passed since then,neither I got any email nor I got my Userid/Password.I went to the branch to get an update on this but he told me that “Your account is inoperative,you have to do some transaction on your saving account like withdrawl to get it operated”.He asked me to do it next week as the cash counter has been closed.

I went to the bank next week and after filling the Withdrawl form I gave it to the staff person.The staff person said your signature is not matching please talk to the branch manager.The manager gave me a form and said me to fill the latest personal details with address proof/id prood attached,so that details can get updated in the database.I gave the dully filled form with attached documents to the staff person and he said me that It will take 3-4 days to get details updated.

So I went to the bank next week and enquired on the same.The same staff person said me that your account is a Joint account with your father.So they need my father details and documents also.I gave them my fathers document also.The staff person said me to come after 2-3 days.

I went to the bank after 3 days and asked whether the details have been updated or not.The staff person answered “No your details cannot be updated as your account was transferred from hardwar to meerut branch 2 months back but your fathers account is still in hardwar.You have to transfer your father’s account to the same branch to proceed.”

Please let me know what to do in this case because the problem is I have been to the branch again and again almost more than 50 times but the SBI Bank staff is not ready to help me.Neither they are co-operative nor they are doing anything to get anything done.I am very disappointed with this,I have accounts at 2-3 other banks but I have never seen a Bank staff like that.They are telling everything in installment,it has been 2-3 months now but still I am struggling to get my internet banking form processed.If they could have told me to do everything at one go,I could have done everything in 1 week.But 3 months has passed and I am fed up and disappointed to go there.

Please help me to solve my issue.I will be highly pleased.

State Bank of India — staff not cooperative

Hi,
I went to SBI Aundh branch today for getting signs on bank account statement.
It totally took 2 hours for me to get that done.
There were 2 accountants allocated for attending these requests. But no one entertained me.
One accountant was absent from his position for 30 minutes. And because he was not there, other accountant was pushing me to go and get signs from the other.
He had time to chat with other people but not to give couple of signs.
Then another drama happened. The accountant refused their own employee for giving some signatures. She got so frustrated that she started crying. She was just doing her work, but these accountants were refusing to attend her request.
Many customers along with me witnessed this drama. I got so angry with these disgusting people that I thought of complaining about them.
I wish someone will make a note of this and they will get suspended.
These disgusting accountants' names are:
1. Mr Joshi
2. Mr. ....i dont remember. :(

    i have transfer my A/c from SBI hongasandra branch bangalore68 to musiri branch ago 8 months . but unable to case deposit in my A/c when other sbi branch and message alert is not coming my cell no so i have many troubles . pls trasfer my cif no sir/madam.

      SBI Cards was purchase amount of Rs.40000/- (forty thousand only) 01 July2012 (SONY COMMUNICATIONS AN HYDERABAD IN). I called the customer care of SBI credit cards for requesting the conversion of Rs. 40,000/- into equal EMIs and the same was accepted, as told by customer care executive, but it was not done on ground. Since then I am in the process of calling and requesting for the same but every time i get only assurance and nothing worked in actual.
      I paid minimum amount well in advance every months(14360/-). So that my request can be processed but again the SBI Cards slept over it and nothing happened on ground. Along with this problem SBI Cards kept auto debiting the amount from my SBI salary account which was dishonoured and penalty was imposed on me.

        Today I have received a message on my cell no. [protected] through BX_ATMSBI "Thank you for using your SBI debit Card 622XXX8301 for withdrawing Rs. 1000/- from ATM S10F[protected] at S10F[protected] GHAZIABAD with txn#8762"

        Please note that I have neither open any account in SBI till date nor I have got issued any debit card from SBI. Kindly check the details at your end and make sure that my name and cell no. should not be misused.

        You are also requested to know us the identity of the person who is using the above card by misusing my cell no. and identity.

          Dear Sir
          Rs 5000 has been debited twice from my A?C no [protected] on 30.5.2008 though I had withdrawn Rs5000 on 29th May 2008. Both the date showed the same transaction number.I have lodge a complain at SBI, versova, but still now no action has been take. Please show your promptness regarding this as other private bank do it on priority. Plase do it otherwise customer will develop phobia for with drawing money from ATM from SBI.

          SUB: Non receipt of Enhasement of pension
          Sir,
          I hereby request you that I am Mr. Debasis Biswas A/C No…[protected].. of your SBI bank Barasat Branch(west Bengal). I received my corrigendum of pension Pay order letter RO/2801/716269/09/06/PW/ (SP)…dated 31 Oct 2009 regarding arrears of pension to be paid by the bank . Now it completed five months. Still now amount is not credited in my account. Reason for delay is not understood by me. So many times I confirmed from my local bank, only response I got that they already forwarded that letter for further action. Now it is not their in hand. But I can’t understand where should I approach for further action.

          On 02 Feb I had sent mail to DGM customer services and with full details and got prompt response. dgm customer services sent three reminder to kolkata local head office. After that also I had not received any reply from Kolkata head office. So many times I had confirmed from my local SBI Branch (Manager/Asst manager) but got reply it is not their in hand.
          Again on 03rd march i sent to my local post office with registered post but still not yet taken any action.

          It is not understood by me that after repeated instruction why I am not getting any reply from Kolkata head office. I also forward mail to Kolkata head office but no response from their end. I tried so my times to contact telephonically Kolkata head office but not getting any response from Kolkata head office. I tried to send mail to local branch Barasat but mail address also not correct.

          Presently I am working in Delhi so many times I send my parents to confirm but not getting positive reply from my local branch. Being a far away from Kolkata where should I approach for further action not understood by me. Now I am sending complaint to you for necessary action. Frequently sending my old parents to my local bank for query it is not justified for me. This is last approaching to you. Now kindly advise me where I should approach for my grievances. I am waiting for your needful action.

          I m account holder of your bank Gaurav Lal, I was transaction from corp bank atm dt 02/12/2008, Amt Rs.6000 & Rs 100. but the amt debt to my account but cash not came out from crop ATM. I had written complain in SBI branch on dt 05/12/2008 gave to service manager who operate that kinds of cases. I was many times visit in Bank but the service manager always try to unlessen my complain. & Branch manger too. Service manager always told me that you can wait for 15 days, one mounth whenever i had visit there, I given many times of photo copy of transaction recipt or letter. but still i have not got my money credit in my account. & also mail to Branch manager for further action . I m not understand where i approch for further action . how can i money back & I really need it. This is my last try for getting my money back. I m wait for you futher action.           100% now I believe that if you have money then you can get anything, every thing is possible by you. If you are a poor then you can’t get anything, every thing is far and beyond possible to you, also you get poor judgment and poor comportment in all aspects of life, in our country INDIA . For example 1. I. I went to Police Station more than 100 times, made 5times entries (complaints) into G.D. but Not even a microscopic actions took place against the alleged bodies. On the contrary Sandip Samanta, S/O. Shankar Kumar Samanta (S.B.I. OFFICER Ph. No. [protected], Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. No.[protected] he has much more and enough money so they purchase all police personnel's and some political leaders, some Dada. Etc. Only I used to get many letters and many phone calls which all seem to me needs to be thrown in the trash, as it all are valueless, toothless and only simply a solace to the poor. What an undone boy I am! Woe is to me! My wife and her family, Sandip Samanta and his family harassment to me and my family, they are torcher me physically and mentally.

          We got Married 05/03/2002, and have a daughter who took birth on 09/07/2005. My wife and her family lodged a case 498A/34 IPC, FIR NO.276, date 31/08/2009, P.S.: BAGUIATI, against me and some of my family members it’s a fabricated, baseless, legless, toothless and doesn’t have any commensurate to the fact. My wife is engaged and having an illicit affair with a boy (Sandip Samanta, S/O. Shankar Kumar Samanta S.B.I. Officer Ph. No. [protected], Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. No.[protected] just opposite to my house, all the matters are known to every person in my village, and also they have certified me written about my fresh character and nature. When my wife left form my house taking many vory gold and cash 1.20 lack Indian rupees. What a demon she is! She didn’t take our only daughter (only four years old) who is now in my house having severe asthma supported by inhaler. My wife filed the 498A case dated 31/08/2009 and I was arrested on 06/09/2009, The Learn" ed court granted me on bail on 19/09/2009. My 1st court date is 16/10/2009 (Attended) 2nd court date is 04/01/2010 (attended) Next court date is 07/07/2010 at Barasat court. I have lots of irrefutable evidences, (20 pcs. Adult S.M.S., Adult picture with the boy and a c.d.) with me where it is cleanly reveals which translates my wife and the boy that they are in illicit relations. Believe me I and my family would love very much (which is very rare seen in our society) to my wife and never any kind of love lost didn’t happen. They (My wife family) are very very poor and live in a bosti Address: 70/H/8 Manicktolla Main Road, Kolkata – 700054, Beside 5 Star Club, my mother saw 1st time and she arranged my marriage, and Mother told me "they are very poor so what? After marriage she will be our family member" believe me not a single word is wrong. Before marriage my family did not see the pedigree of my wife’s family, now we understood also realized that they hailed from a worst status. My wife, her family and the boy all they are misusing this law. Now my wife’s family knows all the affair-related matter. My wife left our only solitary daughter to me who is 4 years old having severe "Asthma Disease, depends on INHALER, here political Hide and seek, ducks and drakes and lots o[censored]nfair means are going on and the father of the parents (THE FATHER OF THE BOY WHO HAS ILLICIT RELATIONS WITH MY WIFE) are rich, so they are spending money to everywhere with a view to be escaped. Now I decided that in no way I can’t accept that demon wife. I hired a lawyer his name Mr. Kamelash Nandi. I don’t know what will be happened next? It’s an utterly a huge and a palpable offence subsequent to which the boy deserves severe and examplanary punishment so that no one can dare to abuse this law. My mother is a sugar present shies sugar is now 400. If possible please help me. Please investigate the matter thread barely and save me and my family. I leave here one question to every one that in this die-straits situation whom do I take care to myself (TRAGEDY), my daughter, or my mother(severe Diabetic)?. My wife filed another case me U/s. 125 Cr. P. C. Case NO.167/2009, date 16/12/2009. 1st Class Judicial Magistrate at Sealdah. 1st court date is 15/01/2010 (Attended) 2nd court date is 12/02/2010(Attended). Next court date is 23/04/2010(Attended) Next court date is 03/06/2010 Attended. Next court date is 07/06/2010. The Ld. court has given the judgment to provide 1500/month.I am millions miles away from the genuine and authentic investigation and inquiry. No inquiry, investigation were executed against the F.I.R lodged by my wife. It is very painful, lamentable as well as heart rendering, breath taking affair to me and my family. My heart bursts into guffaw when I see the nature of the inquiry and investigation. One thing is as clear as crystal to me that the law and the task of the law enforcing agencies vary from man to man. A new proverb is going to take birth very soon that "Justice for the rich and Injustice is for the poor" A rich reserves the right to indulge in any kind of heinous business but the poor is restricted to involve in any type of excellent deeds" To see all these my heart is about to come in the mouth and the ground under my feet gets shook. In a word all types of Law are for the poorest and the richest will enjoy the richest judgments from all quarters.

          As I’m 100 percent innocent so I screw up my courage to place my grievances to every body in order to get redress. So I want to let my matter informed all the Indian and others. I wrote my matter to our local P.S., Local Councilor, all M.P., M.L.A., Minister in W.B. and Other States, C.M. in W.B., CBI Department, CID Department, S.P. and Dy.S.P.(N.) 24 Parganas, All the I.P.S. AND I.A.S. OFFICERS. Governor in W.B, and President in India . P.M. in India, National/International Human rights department, AAP KI KACHEHRI – KIRAN KE SAATH, Kolkata Police, and all police officers in W.B., my nation, all of the news channels, and all press, Talking with some NGO’s: 1. Universal Right and Duty for Human to Abide URDHA, 2. Human Right Commission’s Mr. Ujjal Paul and Mr. Shibaji Dasgupta. 3. Bhatat Bachao Sangathan BBS. 4. Forum for Social Justice and Development FSJD. 5. Ajjtak News Channel’s Miss Menogya. and many more, (anybody can’t help me/ fight for truth /don’t take proper investigation/do not take any action/don’t take any type of query/ Still Now, I see they all are in sound asleep. The reason is best known to them. NOW BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. LISTENED ME AND TOLD ME "YOU FILE A FIR 156(3) I ARREST / TAKE NECESSARY ACTION. NOW I FILED THE CASE 165(3) CASE NO. 921 OF 2010, DATE-13/04/2010 CHARGE 323, 379, 406, 497, 498, 500, 504, 506 READ WITH 34/120B OF INDIAN PENAL CODE. NOW I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED? 1. Sandip Samanta, 2. Shankar Kumar Samanta (S.B.I. Officer Ph. No. [protected], Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. No.[protected], and 3. My wife they all are not in Jail now, because they all are in anticipatory bail now.

          The file comes and the case is starting At Baguiati Police Station Case No-168 Date: 24.04.2010.               My wife Shampa Das have a Savings Banks A/C at State Bank of India, Anandapuri Branch, Barrackpore, West Bengal Vide SB A/C No. [protected]. Due to damage of ATM card she applied before the authrority and accordingly the same has been replaced by a new one for which Rs. 200 has been deducted from her said Savings A/C on 25/10/2010. In the year 2011 ATM Annual Fee was deducted Rs. 50/- from her said A/C but in the year 2012 ATM Annual Fee has been deducted twice i.e. Rs. 100 + 100. In the year 2013 bank authority repeated the same process and again deducted Rs. 200 for two seperate ATM cards. While ATM replacement cost was charged by the bank authority and my wife is not using two ATM cards then why She pay for two ATM cards. In this regard Rs. 200/- extra which have been deducted in 2012 and 2013 should be returned by them. Please look into the matter

              I called and waited on the line for about 09 mins and 31 seconds, but no response except hearing the Advertisement and the automated voice saying "Thanks for staying on line, your call is important to us, we appreaciate your patience".

              This is the second time in the past 7 years, I am facing lack of service from SBI.
              So far, it is fine and satisfactory with SBI banking services.

              Could you please verify my SB account and credit the Rs.50 (the amount charged in excess of the ATM Annual Fee) to my Savings Bank account?

              I got the same issue with SBI.I went to my branch, they told me to contact [protected]...and customer care told me that there are 2 cards issued in your name so they can cancel 1 card and for refund contact ur branch again and refund seems unlikely.
              What I dont know is when the hell did I apply for 2 cards??

              I got the same issue with SBI. My mother has account in SBI Robertsonpet branch, KGF. In the branch they told me to contact customer care. Customer care representative told me that there are 2 cards issued in your name so they can cancel 1 card and for refund contact ur branch again and refund seems unlikely.
              Customer Care says we can't track it and branch says we dont have any records.Really pathetic service.
              It is the same issue i have. i was deducted 206.50 Rs twice for the Debit card i use. When I asked customer care, they said that i was issued 2 cards and i should have blocked the second one. It is so bad.

              First of all, for one account why should someone need 2 cards?

              Secondly, if someone wants it, they should issue only after the customer gives a request.

              Without issuing the card, without the knowledge of the customer, how can they simply issue 2 cards and debit amount from their account?

              This is cheating ! A big cheating !

                    Myself Dwarka Prasad Suryawanshi holding an account [protected] in SBI @ branch Tirodi, District Balaghat Pin Code 481449.

                    I try to withdraw an amount of Rs 10000/- on 9th feb 2013 at 20:03 Hrs from ATM of SBI at branch Tirodi (terminal # S10K[protected] by txn # 5190.

                    I didn't receive any single amount but Rs 10000/- from my a/c has been debited.

                    As soon as I came to know that my a/c has been debited by amt of Rs 10000/-
                    I lodged a complaint to SBI branch Tirodi on 11/02/2013 around 1:30 hrs.
                    After that I again and again contacted to my bank branch for my reimbursement but they always replied me that the procedure is on and trying to trace out the details. But all was in vain.

                    Now more than 30 days have been passed but my a/c has not been credited by next Rs 10000/- till date.
                    So please look into the matter on higher priority as I am mentally tired & also credit Penalty of Rs 250/- per day from 20/02/2013 till date.

                    SBI — money debited and no money received

                    on 21/12/08 i used my sbi atm cum debit card to withdraw money from an atm in bandra, mumbai. the transcation never happened as it said it timed out however the money was debited from my account when i checked my balance from another atm.

                    Sir, i'm a sbi customer. On 22nd August 2008, i used my debit card to withdraw a cash of rupees 4000 from south indian bank. I gave request of rs.4000, but i received only rs.1000 in hand. When i checked my pass book entry, i found the amount was debited from my account. so i gave complaint letter the manager stating the problem. Till today the management has not taken any steps against my complaint. They simply say that the opponent bank is not responding.
                    I want my money back.

                    On 8th of may 2009, I tried to withdraw Rs. 1000 from ICICI bank’s ATM in yamunanagar (Hr.), which was unable to process at that time. But the next time I checked the account balance, the money was debited from the account. After knowing this I went to the nearest SBI branch on railway road, yamunanagar (Hr.) and submitted an application regarding the problem I faced. But no action was taken regarding that from there side. Then I went to the SBI NIT kurukshetra and again submitted the application there. i also filled an complaint to the customer service team six months back with Complaint Ticket Number : CC[protected]. now whenevere i ask them about my money they just say that you should contact the ICICI bank for this.

                          as mentioned in the subject line Worst service provider (br: ADB Akola) I have seen across my life.
                          Its hard to complaint against such reputed bank but its true due to senior employee of the bank who don't even know the business language and literally come to office to spend the day instead of work.
                          Unfortunately its my HomeBranch and i have to spend whole day in non-moving Que (Q includes senior citizens who may not have physical capacity to do so) for simple transaction like money transfer, i complained about it to the said branch manager but its of NO use...
                          being an employee of one of the top IT company i request there must be appropriate and simple escalation matrix made available for the common people (most of the customers from rural area) to insure the prompt and timely work quality.
                          It is must to at least maintain the reputation of the bank.
                          Hope this compliant get noticed.

                            Against my saving bank account in SBI, Sahakargram, Kandivli (East) Branch, I was issued one ATM card by the erstwhile State Bank of Indore 15 years back. This I got replaced by SBI ATM card subsequently as bank was taken over by SBI. However, every year the Bank deducts charges for 3 ATM cards - cards which were never issued to me. Last year these cards were blocked by the Bank so that excess charges are not levied. Yet, this year again I am charged for 3 cards despite the fact that the Bank record shows the wrong ones as blocked. When i complain, i get only one answer - the computer has made the error! They fail to understand that computer has no brains - what you put inside, comes out.

                            Secondly, the Bank's issues cheque books with 50 leaves against our requisition for 25 @ Rs 100 despite . their website indicating that 25/50/100 leaves are available.. Presently, as per RBI mandate, CTS-2010 compliant cheques are to be used hereafter but the Bank is charging the customers full charge of Rs 100! This I feel is not warranted as no other bank has charged and customers are forced to obtain because of RBI's mandate.
                            SBI needs to be more customer friendly and not harass them for petty and avoidable errors committed by the Bank.

                              Hello Sir,

                              I am writing this e-mail with the last hope of getting my hard earned money back from SBI.

                              On 15th Jan'13 i was trying to book a return flight of Indigo Airline from Delhi to Goa via Yatra.com. But due to the failure of online transaction no booking could be done.

                              Few days passed I found that an amount of Rupees 40,460 INR has been deducted from my SBI account. However no online booking was done with any airlines via yatra.com due to non payment from the concerned SBI account. Yatra have sent a written confirmation of the same as well.

                              Refer the Account/Card Details used for trying to do the booking:

                              Everytime I call State Bank customer care they open a fresh ticket and after few days just close the ticket without giving any solution of the problem. Last ticket which was closed without proper resolution was : PO[protected].

                              I request your Intervention in this matter as I am not getting any support from State Bank Of India.

                              Being a woman of 57 years of age and suffering from heart problem, its not feasible for me to run from Pillar to Post.

                              Please think of a middle class customer for whom an amount of 40,460 INR is very big.

                              Expecting a positive and Immediate action from you.

                                I Santosh Kumar Soni s/o Sh. Ram Ganesh Soni r/o F- 2/76 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar sec - 3, Madangir New Delhi - 110062 have an account in your bank SBI in Dr. Ambedkar Nagar sec-3 New delhi - 110062.A cheque from the PF office Rs 12567/rs has came for the clearance in my account number [protected] on the dated 12/03/2009 but only 10000/rs has clearance on my account after my investigation and communication with PF office i found the entry was wrong and short of rs 2567/ in my account after my communication and complaint 2567/rs has been credited on 06/04/2009 in my account when i find by myself who will be responsible for that I faced so many problems .I am a educated person so i able to find out my loss what about the illiterate and ciniour citizen those people have faith in SBI bank.
                                Please give me the suggestion and take the action for above complaint soon.Because I am going to take the help with RTI

                                        Sir, I have opened a Defence Salaray Package (DSP) A/C in SBI Chomu (Raj). My A/c No is [protected]. My monthly salary is being credited in this a/c only on the monthly basis. I have been issued new Pass Book and a sum of Rs 102/- have been deducted for the same. I tried to speak to the officials/Manager on this aspect but no satisfactory reply is given by them instead advised to close the a/c. May I request yo to look into the matter as, as per MOU signed by SBI and the Indian Military such services are to be provided free of cost. Regards.
