[Resolved]  State Bank of India / Personal Loan — Loan settled but CIBIL data not updated since October 2009

Dear Sir,

I availed a loan of Rs.1,50,000.00 from SBI MKB Nagar branch, Chennai on 7th Feb 2006 and cleared the loan on 9th Oct 2009 for which i was made to run behind the branch to get the clearance letter/no due certificate.
I applied for a personal loan with a financial institution (Name of the institution will be provided on request) in the 1st week of March 2010 and the same was declined stating that there was and over due of Rs.8433.00 reflecting in my name in the CIBIL record. Finally I found that the SBI have not sent any updation/correction report to CIBIL to clear the over due in their records.
When I approached the branch manager, I was told that they do not take care of CIBIL updates and same was taken care only by the SBI Mumbai Head Office. Based on their confirmation, I logged an online complaint through SBI website on 9th March 2010 (Ref - Complaint Ticket Number : CC[protected] but with vain. Then I called up the phone number of the SBI Mumbai Head Office updated in their website on 19th March 2010, the officer who answered my call did not tell her name and behaved rudely and said that they will take their own time to address and reply to the complaints logged through their website and cannot confirm the turn around time on addressing the online complaint and informed me to fax a complaint letter for proper response (I really don't understand why SBI providing an online complaint option which is not addressed by the bank).
The same day I faxed the complaint letter to their official fax no updated in their website and also logged in an online complaint through Banking Ombudsman. After a month's time the bank sent me a letter dated 19th April 2010 stating that they have forwarded the data to CIBIL for up to date their records.
The same day of the receipt of the letter, I met the DGM (Nodal Officer) Mr.K Subramaniam at SBI Circle Top House in Chennai to address this issue and get it resolved for me at the earliest since I was badly in need of money to manage and meet my sister-in-law's marriage expenses which was fixed on 19th May 2010. Unfortunately nothing has happened till date and loan was not sanctioned till date.

Currently I am in a mental trauma and facing financial crisis though I am eligible for a personal loan and the same could not be processed because of the SBI's lack of duty consciousness, lethargic and non customer centric attitude

I Kindly request you to take a severe action on the bank without any delay and also request you to get me a compensation for all the difficulties, hardships and depressions I have faced.
