With reference to subj Since one year I didn’t get any kind of premium due date notice from Tata Aig by email or mail or Phone, Tata Aig are sending service feedback questioner by email , Tata Aig not sending premium due date notice By email, Where as family member given change of Address by phone , Tata Aig not bother to do changes in mailing Address, Now Tata Aig demanding premium due interest for year 2009 to 2010 from me , Even Year 2009 I received email from Tata AIG service feedback questioner, and premium certificate of year 2008 and 2009 , but I didn’t receive any information of due date premium notice for year of 2009 and 2010,
However I will not pay due date interest amount of premium , it’s not my mistake to pay premium amount to Tata Aig where as I tried to contact all service center to get help in this regard, but there were no proper guidance from them ,even last year I wrote email to costumer care Please change Address , Now I don’t know Tata Aig have my new address or not , Hence Now I shall only Pay whatever premium amount during the financial of year of 2009 and 2010

    I have renewed my lapsed TATA AIG Life Insurance policy on February 12. Today is the 23rd of March and I have no receipt yet of my payment in excess Rs. 14,000 which has been cleared from my account already. On contacting them several times they told me that I have to submit a clarified health certificate. I submitted the amendment to the Thane branch which they accepted at the branch as correct. I have yet not received any intimation from the company, so despite having sent accross all the details as required, the amendment form and not the least the money they are still checking with concerned departments about where my file is stuck. Is this the state of private insurance companies in India.

    Well they are regulated by the IRDA, so I wrote to them. The IRDA took a whole of 2 weeks to say they can't do anything, unless we get more details. The mere pace at which they responded sickens me to think if ever they take any corrective action, when would it happens two years later?

    This is the state of our insurance industry, so don't go by big names TATA and AIG, they are worse than the government run LIC. The funny thing is I also renewed my lapsed LIC policy and they closed it with receipt et al in just under 3 days and I didn't even have to go myself - my agent did it.

    So please consider this when ur getting a life insurance policy in the future.

      I made a payment to Tata AIG in early February 2010 for my Life Insurance Policy. They are not willing to even give me a receipt because they say that I have not provided a blood report. I had ticked this column which asked if I had done any test in the last 5 years. Who hasn't done a blood test, common?

      They are refusing to give me the receipt until I go to their office and oblige them. I did the payment through cheque by courier as I work and have no time to go over, but now they are harassing me. I wasn't even contacted and informed about this, I had to call in and they said we have sent you the intimation, which I received early this month.

      To add to this I wrote to the IRDA supposed regulatory body for insurance companies in India and they took 2 weeks to reply, only to say they can't register my compaint because I have not provided a postal address and my policy number.

          I have bought TATA-AIG MahaGold Life Plan through an agent advisor (Mr Naveen Bhati). Due to spelling mistake in my name, I had given back to the same policy pack, to the agent advisor, to rectify the errors.

          The policy pack contains all correspondences i.e receipt, bond and other papers.

          Now I don’t have policy number and any related documents.

          The payment was made by credit card.

                I had booked a car at AVK ford at Chandivali.I had given two cheques of Rs 30, 000 & Rs. 10, 000 & also given 10, 000 cash for loan process.But I have cancelled for management issue of his loan process.It around from Jan 2013 to still I am waiting for payment from them. They are giving so many excuse regarding payment.Kindly help to get the amount from them.

                When I was going for booked a car. Mr. Ajim had given confirmation if there are any issue with us regarding car booking. we will be refundable to all receipt of money.But now he didnot help for get to payment with his organisation.

                  I am Chiranjiv Kumar from Bangalore and my contact no is [protected] & [protected]. I took one policy from TATA AIG # YTBTM[protected]. I was charged Rs. 10/- for that and I was promised that document will be provided within 7 days. Policy was done on 11th of September, 2009. On the 14th of September I got call again from TATA AIG office, Mumbai. I thought the information that they are collection is in lieu of the policy which I had taken already. But the case was different, they were introducing with other product. During the discussion I told to Miss Rima that I need paper work then I will proceed further. She told it is a matter of Rs. 20 and once you will get both policy document, as per your convenience you can opt one can continue with the same. Immediately she charged Rs. 6588 directly to my credit card and disconnected the phone. My second policy no is SHC[protected] for that instead of charging Rs. 10 they charge 6588 which brought me full tens. As I am running 3 policy and those people to meet their target doing nonsense to the POOR citizen of Indian and people are suffering in all ways. Finally I need to close my credit card and need to stop all the instructions what I had give to other service providers Like Vidafone, Airtel, LIC etc.

                  Even they will play so many acts in refunding the amount and will deduct 99 also. This is what they do with the INDIAN poor citizen and we are tolerating.

                  I am waiting for their reply even I didn’t see any mail from them not even I single call that sir we have done mistake. They keep audio record for all conversation then why they don’t TERMINATE their employee in case some one like (Miss Rims) does something which she should never do. What if some one will do the same thing with her?

                  Tata-Aig — Money deducted without any Policy

                  I took a Health Insurance Policy of TATA-AIG on phone in Aug I was promised that I will get the policy within a month. My verification was done by the accounts dept but I never got the policy. The Transaction number I was given was fake. When I contacted TATA-AIG they did not have any policy in my name and the transaction number had no relevance. In fact last time also when I took home secure policy from TATA-AIG they did not issue me a policy though the money was promptly deducted from my credit card account. I had to show my credit card statement to get a policy. This time its the same story. Money is being deducted from my credit card account without any policy.
                  When I wrote to customer service dept. I am getting a standerd answer since more than a month that 'please give more time'.
                  I have written more than 4 times but same reply. On the other hand money is being deducted from my credit card account every month. They are not having any policy in my name but just deducting money. Please HELP.

                      I have a Life Insurance policy with Tata AIG wherein I am required to pay an annual premium.
                      As I was eligible to take premium holidays, after discussing with the Tata AIG agent I submitted an application for a premium holiday for the years 2008 and 2009.
                      Tata AIG accepted the application. However after a few days came back saying that I needed to fill up an application form. This was also complied with ( though I was out of India at that point of time).
                      After that they cam back saying that the application needs to be only made one month prior to the premium payment date. It was impossible for me to continue communicating with them over such an issue for so long as I was outside India and they charged my bank a/c for the premium due in 2008.
                      They are continuing to deduct a premium holiday charge of 3% ( instead of the 1.5% which is the charge for cases which give them prior notice) as now I have cancelled the ECS set up with my bank.

                      My contention is that they should have told me what the proper procedure is in the first go rather than asking multiple applications in different forms. They are also not agreeing to roll back the 3% charge that they are deducting to the 1.5% for the period that they have already charged me with.

                      TATA - AIG life insurance — Non refund of doubly paid premium

                      My policy premium was due on 01.08.2008 which is 01.09.2008 including grace period. I got premium reminder letter from the company in end of July and I posted the cheque to company in pre-addressed envelope which I received alongwith premium reminder letter on 12.08.2008. On 26th of Aug I checked up with their customer care cell and got to know that they have not yet received any cheque. I immediately deposited another cheque at their branch which they got credited. In week's time my old cheque also got debited to my account from TATA AIG. I wrote letter to them on 16th Sep for refund of excess premium paid. Till date I am only getting replies from the company that " we really apologize for the inconvenience. We will reply you back in 3 -4 working days" Its more than a month now and I have not yet received my payment. TOTALY UNORGANISED COMPANY WITH SHORT TERM APPROACH. Requesting you all to recheck and rethink before approaching TATA AIG for policy

                            this is unnessary, Tata aig and spicejet should have the arrangements to refund the premium or anything accross the counter itself and should not make the cuotomers to run to pillers to post, Please have this in mind atleast hereafter.Thanking you.
                            I had taken a policy from Tata-AIG life insurance company on year 2002 from Jamshedpur branch, state Jharkhand. Its premium was 27, 000/- per year. I had stopped the premium after first 3 years premium . Now I want to surrender and withdraw the amount. They offered me only 20, 680/- only which was the surrender value on the year 2005. They denied to give any interest or enhancement of money in last 4 years. When I asked for Ombudsman number, the customer service person Madam D Das denied to give. My agent is not paying attention in the problem and misguided me. I want to get authentic amount which I deserve. My policy detail is giving below -

                              Even after reminding them, after paying the premium i still do not get the receipt.
                              You people are worried only about your premium, even the agent is not worried about it, even if i remind her.
                              it is told to me that they will send me the receipt but i never get it.it happens all the time.
                              I'm worried whether my money is in safe hands or not, and have i made the right choice in dealing with you all

                                My self Mohaammad Rehan, from Bhopal (M.P) It is with a great disappointment I am lodging a complaint for betrayal of sending policy documents of my policy no. U[protected]. The faith for investment in this company has been lost to my consciousness, and to the valued customers because of companies unfaithful delivery of policy documents. The agents involved under policy service are found rubbish and disobidient. It is therefore, my complaint may be treated as a serious issue for Tata aig life credibility.

They advised me to submit it with bond papers so I deposit the bond and other papers on 15th April 2009. After that I meet the office incharge of the Model Town, Delhi branch. He told me that he has handed over my bond papers to Mr. S.K. Singh (Agent)
