Sub: TOTAL DISSATISFACTION OF VEHICLE DELIVERED TO US & SEEKING REPLACEMENT/REIMBURSEMENT.

Subsequent to your Quotation No.6772 Dt.15/03/2011 and our Purchase of TVS Wego(Brown) bearing Reg No. TN 22 BP 9704 Carrying Engine No.0G4CB1129735 / Frame No. MD626AG43B1C27312 handed over to me on 18/04/2011, we found the vehicle to be totally defective and unfit for use for its purpose it is meant and sold for.
We are extremely disappointed and are in stage of great mental turbulence post purchase of the vehicle when we continuously experienced Auto switch Off the Entire Engine and thereby vehicular movement frequently even at continuous accelerator(Full throttle).
Me and my wife both holding valid driving license for 2-wheeler as well as for Car are experienced drivers and preferred this vehicle for various reasons
Vehicle switching OFF was reported at your sales office first on the day of Registration for rectification, but was not taken care off. I had also informed the lady calling me from No.[protected], who was collecting feedback on the vehicle and sales personnel cooperation during the process of Purchase, where I pointed out the issue of switching OFF during driving. Although delivery scheduled for 15/04/2011 was not done due to time constraints and second vehicle shown for Test drive was found Physically defective on its front Brake lever and scratches on Body & subsequently next day being Inauspicious followed by Sunday we collected the vehicle on 18/04/2011-Monday afternoon.
We left the vehicle back after pooja on Tuesday (19/04/2011) at your office we informed the switching Off while raising the accelerator It was left unattended.
Post its regular usage from Wednesday -20/04/2011 I had come several times at your premises and cried out my sufferings and feelings on the defect and hardship. It was a moment of embarrassment and huge agony at mid of Roads when vehicle use to stop on busy Road and people abuse and shout. This has been very disturbing affecting my professional life as well as personnel life where for no Issue of me I had to face the consequences of public at large. Being educated and earning due respect in the society this has brought shame to me.
Several rounds of persons inspecting and testing made interim arrangements and said it has been fully taken care off but not actually.
Finally I was told to leave the vehicle for a day at showroom when we could elaborately look into the issue; I had left on 30/04/2011(Saturday) with the sales Manager.
True Agony Now, Post collecting the vehicle around 20:15 hrs after me calling and confirming the readiness, I drove the vehicle barely few hundred meters when it halted once again on Velachery bye pass Road – Opp to Sri Krishna sweets. I had immediately seeking assistance called numbers [protected] – which reported switched off and landline – 22554993 for 10-15 times when it was also unattended.
Presuming lack of fuel, I had strolled with the Vehicle till BP bunk Opp Murugan Kalyana Mandapam at around 21:15 hrs filled up for Rs 100/-
Even post the same; the Vehicle did not Switch ON after several attempts by Kick Start/E-start/With Choke On/Off also. At around 22:00 hrs all alone I had to stroll again back home fully exhausted pushing the vehicle for parking it at home.
Next day(Sunday-01/05/2011) I had tried switching ON, but failed and took to nearest Mechanic shop, where he neglected to touch commenting the issue is unique and if he mends it will be case calling Null & Void of warranty.
So I had to return back home to keep it parked back without using it, when my fear and Mental status broke out completely and wanted to bring to your organization notice on my dissatisfaction
My regular Commuting to Office has become tedious without the usage of the vehicle now.
The purpose of this letter and intimation is to portray my hardship in wriiten words faced all these days, so that on consumer grounds I take it up further,
If I am still left unattended by not compensating economically for all additional expenses incurred and reimbursing the total amount of `53869/- paid by me.
Looking forward for your confirmation and cooperation at least during the hand off on Moral grounds

I am waiting for Yamaha to launch their scooter. Then I will sell of the Wego.
