[Resolved]  UNITECH UNIHOMES CHENNAI — NON-REFUND OF MONEY

We had send Regd. Letters in Nov.2010 for refund of full amount. UNITECH has sent a letter on 25th Jan. 2010 threatening to forefeit our hard-earned money of Rs.1.50 Lac. The letter does not contain the name of the staff who has signed the letter. The letter is silent about the valid legal documents we asked for. Nor it has the reference about the worst service provided by them.

Hi All,
I am also in the final stage of booking a apartment in Uni Homes 2, but seriously shooked to the core after seeing the comments, can some one tell me what the scenario now? is it advisable to proceed further.

Yes its true they have started handing over of Phase I flats. For UH 2, 3BHK, construction in full swing. especially the towers in the front side. I ahve booked in T22 before 1 .2 Yrs now jus the foundation has been laid. Dont know when its going to be over. I saw few flats in T6A (as per Construction site board), the thickness of the wall is huge. Owners its better visit the construction site n check ur flats.

I have just made a initial payment and waiting for my loan sanction. Can anyone please tell me if i can proceed with Unitech or Not? It is my Hard Earned money and i just dont want to lose at any cost.

Please Advice i[censored]NITECH is safe project to buy a flat... We are planning to buy a flat there & the project seems good. But can any please advice on UNITECH especially when its involved in 2G scam.
STAFFS ARE ALWAYS CHANGING . SO NOT ABLE TO FOLLOW UP REGARDING CONSTRUCTION. Very very slow in contruction compare to other projects

HAI v.kumar, now you are in postion to buy the flat otherwise u lost your initial payment also. They are all arragont to take the initial payment in their pocket. so soon ready the loan as early as possible
I booked in Tower 32 - Phase 2, for which the construction is yet to commence.They are saying it takes 2 years to complete.Will it be 2 yrs or will it take more than that..?? Please suggest..

Whether buyers are getting loan from Reputed banks for Unihomes-2 project now a days?
Is Unitech able to provide the required legal documents to the reputed banks now a days?

If above happens, think of booking a flat over there. Anybody confirm these please?
Many initial reviews here talked about above 2 points. Can anybody confirm?
Unitech as per the name it is big.but the workers who are attending the customer does not know how to inform the details about current work going on and about completion details to custoemr .customer side keen to know about the construction details and other facility details. if you are the customer executive you have tofull fill those. i think it is Unitech mistake and they are not ready to analysis how customer are treating while coming to see the site visit after book the site. but same customer executive behave different manner who are coming for new booking and giving all passive points as false inform ation to book the site and get the insentive.realy Unitech need to have look on this and need to move construction work past and keep them promise properly and if any delay at least they need to communicate so that customer plan accordingly.
eg.school admision is not easy now a days. when you ask about school while having site visit. They are telling that we will inform paper advertisement or we will send the intimation to you. This is as of last week update. Now December month all school are issuing the admission form.
you are telling that January we will inform. So how can i plan about my child schooling
and second i do not know when my construction will get over and how many famil is going to come over there next year.up to what std are you going to start.
how many child will come and join what is the plan after January
incase only 3 child are coming for 3rd std then what will be the plan .nothing is clear.
any how construction is going on customer advance many there is no burden for unitecn.Only burden who have booked house over there
unitech is worst in serving the customers, it has not sent any info, now asking for interest on the amount to be paid, that was remaining...i followed for last 15 days, no reply yet
Unitech is not worth investment
DEAR mr.dhina1234, they are given all the documents to icici and doutch bank clearly, thesse 2 banks they follow up. if any other bank means, u only follow all the things.

After getting the loan, u forget the home. it will come after 3 years. they take 3 years time to construct the single flat.

Very Very Very Very Very Slow in construction, poor customer service, I booked a flat in 2011 mid in 3BKH Unihomes2, that time they told that they will finish the flat at the end of Dec 2012. Today I asked them they saying they will complete on 2014 Mar. Till now I have paid interest alone more than 3 Lakhs, but the flat value got increased only by 4 Lakhs, it is total loss for me. If you want to purchase flat in unihomes, kindly purchase only the finished flat where the owner are selling at good price now.
Very Very Very Very Very Slow in construction, poor customer service
I just got to read this chain since i have been trying to contact with the UNITECH PALM VILLA team in chennai regarding the outstanding interests that i have to pay because of the delay in the initial loan arrangement between HDFC and UNITECH. This was mainly UNITECH's delay but the customers were asked to pay the interest for delay in the planned payments. However when i raised this issue with their team members (Karthik, Murugesan, Kavitha etc) they asked me to ignore the notifications and that it will be sorted out by the Delhi office. But till date nothing has happened and the notifications are continuing to be sent to me with increasing penalty interests. I am thinking of going for a legal actin also because they havent handed over the or even completed the building as promised and its now more than 2.5 years since the starting of construction. I would like to know if anyone got back / got the penalty interests nullified. please let me know because this would help me also to take this issue in the right direction.
