[Resolved]  Vertex online sales — Fraud company in UK selling phones

Hey Readers,


There is a company calls itself as Vertex Mobile company, which says it is based in the UK who sells Iphones and other gadgets in India. Not only this company but several others like croamagadgets.com promises to provide you electronic gadgets at extra cheap prices.
So basically what these company do is they ask is 50% advance and phones at extra cheap cost.
What they also do is they also give you give is a number of their agent in india who is an asian guy(i got to know, when i talked to him)
So my story goes like this---
I resident of New Delhi made a lot of negotiations to check whether the people are fraud or not, nearly asked whatever questions i could , and it continued for nearly 3-4 days, and also confirm with their agent here in India, as a result the company sales manager(who also looked that she was asian as her english was not perfect) called me up twice to take me in her confidence that they were legal company,

I was not at all ready to deposit and sort of money to their account in India(State Bank of India)

But after talking to their agent and having a bank account in SBI gave me some confidence and i thought to take a risk(though its very foolish).

I still negotiated with her sales manager in UK and the agent and i settled a deal for 25% advance payment and rest on delivery, which was Rs 9250(the 25%) and i deposited the cash.

After 1-2 hours i was given a link of a fraud courier company(named Elite courier services Uk) with the id and some number, which when i entered , it told me that my parcel of iphones is at Heathrow airport and will be delivered tomorrow as a priority order.

No Doubt, it gave me a smile, but who knew that it wont long last, next morning i got a call from another asian guy from an indian number, he told me to pay the custom charges to get the phones cleared at mumbai airport he couldn't understand english and i shouted on him that why should i pay as it was promised by his company.

I was surprised that a courier company sends its agent to deliver 2 iphones to india, something insane, when i told this to the agent in Mumbai, he said that he brings 100's of phones so the company sends the guy, i even asked why only asian guy, your being in Uk , only asians(chinese) live there.


But he was that i need to pay that custom charges.


So still its 2 days and i am fighting to not to waste any more money on a fraud company, but there is a no necessary reaction from their side, they are still asking for the custom clearance.
So no solution yet , and i myself dumped my hard earned money.
