I am facing the same problem. I booked a plot 2400sq ft with the company while they were holding a property exhibition in London. When I decided to exit I got in touch with Mohandas the manager at Bangalore and his story never seems to match. The rates that he has quoted have varied, and eventually he told me that there was a dispute over the land. At great expense I sent my representative from Delhi who spent days trying to make an appointment with Mohandas, and also visited the site. There was no access to the site as the gates had been padlocked by the court. I am very disappointed that we booked this plot, paid for it and now after 10 years cannot sell it. Mohandas has fabricated lies after lies and unless I travel from London and spend 10 days or so at my expense, there is still no guarantee. The same situation has occured at another site where I have bought 2 plots from the same developer VGP. We were promised the earth when we booked these plots. We have been duped.
COMPLAINT FROM AN NRI

Even I too have similar issues. I am not sure who filed the case??. Is the VGP is lying. We should do something about this. I have a site and house as well. Unfortunately the VGP is not even sharing the case number. If at least the case no is known we can get the status of the case or at least we know who are parties files a case. Nearby areas the ongoing rate is Rs.4000 + per sq.ft. But unfortunately because of the issues even if I wanted to dispose it off at throw away prices, nobody is buying it. If anybody has information regarding the case please let us know.

I spoke to Mr. Murali Krishnan (sales) in the BLR office in May and he helped me get a Katha for my 2400sqft plot. He was aided by Mr. Maran who was very helpful in bringing my taxes current (paid 3 years) and then registration of the Katha. Process is not that simple but can be done.

I was told that the land now moved under another govt agency and if taxes are unpaid it is possible for the agency to auction of the land. So pay your taxes now. Ask Maran to help. I don't know if getting a Katha is enough but seemed like the right thing to do.

Mohan Das at the time was in the hospital but did refer me to Mr. Krishnan. Also, Mr. Krishnan told me that VGP had now agreed to settle the dispute and was going to pay those who'd filed the case on the land. I don't know if that ever got done but people in the office believed that it would be done within weeks.

I spoke to Mohan Das and there are no signs of issue getting resolved. Do you know Murali Krishnas contact number? If so please send it across to me. Even I would like to sell my land but no takers because of issues.

As per my conversation with Mohan Doss, the case is not solved yet. As always, he has given a promise that the case will be settled "Soon", but it is clear that it is yet another lie from him.

I had purchased a plot in VGO Arjun town, Kudlu, Bangalore way back in 2007 . Ever since have been in touch with thier Bangalore and Chennai
offices . All the times they have been promising and assuring so many things but no correct information forthcoming.

Their Bangalore office have accepted additional amounts for other expenses and finalising matters. We are can neither sell the property or
take up any other activity, Our investments are idling and losing, but we are not even provided with any information refarding the nature of the problem, possible solution.etc.

All that we hear from Mohan Das, Maran, Rajesh that I must be patient, wait for some more time, matter will be resolved soon,
but HOW, WHEN and by WHOM .??? no body seems to know

Does anyone have a clue how !!!

I had purchased 2 plots at VGP Arjun Town in 1996.I share the same misery as most of you.Appreciate an advise on how to go about paying the taxes/katha so that these do not inflate to huge numbers when I plan to stay or sell the plots . What is the ongoing market rate ? where can I pay the taxes ?what documents would be required ?can I build a home on my plots .

I had met Mr Mohan Doss/Maran somemtime in 2011.Mohan Doss had asked for INR 1 lac to fight the case from each plot owner. The original locals from whom VGP had purchased the property had filed the case in Annekal district( from what I remember)against VGP and are also encroaching/living in tents on the couple of plots where buyers had paid for surrounding walls to be built with metal gates .( since the prices had gone up since what VGP had paid them)

I share your misery gentlemen. I am based in Bangalore and understand that the dispute has been deliberately created to acquire the property cheaply and resell the same at current prices which are high.There are several people who are trying to buy the plots at throwaway prices i.e. lower than the prices paid by us to VGP. Cant we all join together and take this up with VGP. They are confident that noone will trouble them as most of the plot owners are outside Bangalore.

without avail . They don't sem to be having any answer/solution except buying time.

I agree we need to join together and press for resolution to this long pending issue.

can anyone update me on the latest development of this VGP-Arjun Town, Kudlu Village.I have two plots held since 1996.

There is no contactable person and the surrounding area prevails at around Rs5000 psf from the last i checked.

This ordeal VGP is putting us through is not acceptable especially for the duration we have held it for and we expect no less than the surrounding market value around the area or expect VGP to stand accountable to the legitamacy of the saleability of the land parcels. Its up to them to settle whatever issues they have without subjecting the plot owners to this nonsense that has gone for far too long.

I wish to sell my two plots at the current market value deemed reasonable from the surrounding methodology of valuation.
