I too bought the below mentioned properties from VHF Selve through late Jaganathan in 1993, 1995 and 1999:

And as stated by some of the people who were also hoodwinked as I was by the VHF establishment; it was a bad decision to buy those properties as I have had no monetary benefits from those properties to-date (25 April 2012).
I sent several letters and emails to Mr. Bharat at his VHF offices in India with a view to sell these properties offering him a commission, but I have had no response from him as of date.
Hope that one day I, and the those who were subjected to the VHF mafia, will at least get to see these properties and perhaps dispose them off to the highest bidder.

VHF DUBAI GARDEN CITY phase V.
I also have fallen prey to VHF teak plantation scheme. Last letter received from (signed for) M . Jaganathan was on march 16th 2001, it was reply to our inquiry. Since then there is no communication. If any body has any information regarding "Teak" investment please email to [protected]@qp.com.qa .

Hello All. My parents have also invested in VHF properties. The majority of their investments were in farm / agricultural plots and they also purchased 2 residential plots in Continental City Phase 21 in Bangalore. I went to visit the farm plots and they were all in a terrible state, very dry, full of termites. Besides that the area around these plots had not been developed at all. It was like walking through a jungle to get to those plots. Anyway I soon got disheartened and went to check out the residential plots in Bangalore. This was a different story, because the project is on the main road, and the area around is very developed. Once you step inside the project compound, it isn't developed much. I was able to identify my plots and started finding out from people around the area that the prices have gone up. Therefore I decided to focus on getting these plots registered.
It is important to get the plots officially registered with a katta, because Vhf only gave us a sales deed. When I visited Bharat he told me that the areas of these plots in Bangalore has been upgraded to Metropolitan status (the new authority being the BMRDA agency) from Rural status. He went to say that because of this upgrade the entire project's layout had to be changed causing many people to loose their plots. He then made it seem that the new authority had re-acquired all the plots and that it was at VHF's discretion to re-distribute the plots after they had made the layout changes and done the conversion procedures. This completely scared me because I thought that we had lost our plots and everything was in Bharat's hand. He then went on to ask me for more money, almost 10 laks. His justification for the amount was that it was to contribute to the cost of the new layout and some infrastructure work, but partially it was to compensate the people who had lost their plots. I immediately told him that I want my plots, knowing that the value had gone up. He assured me that I would get my plots after making the payment. I told him that I would figure out a way to pay him, most likely by giving up some of my agricultural plots to which he seemed willing to do. Nothing was confirmed but I went away feeling assured that my plots would be given back to me.
I must mention that before I visited Bharat and all my plots I had contacted an Indian lawyer through the Internet to get my Bangalore plots registered thinking that it was a simple procedure, and it was the lawyer who informed me of the whole issue with the change in status of the plots and that the developer was asking for more money.
Anyway I spoke to that same lawyer and asked him if there was a way to avoid paying Bharat and get the plots registered without him, and he said he would look into it. That brings me to the present time. I am in Bangalore right now, because my lawyer has found a way to get me registered without going through Bharat. Again I have to give some background for you to understand what I'm going to explain later: Before the plot got upgraded, it was a simple process to get the plots registered with the local Panchayat office, where we would have got the Khatta. Vhf told us that they would do this for us, and they even charged us but never got around to doing it. After the plot's status got upgraded, no one could apply for a Khatta because now the project was considered to be "Not developed" with the BMRDA's new requirements and pending conversion procedures. Another piece of information that I found out was that it's not sufficient just to hold a sales deed to guarantee ownership, the final registration and obtaining a Khatta is absolutely necessary to completely legalize the property under your name. Potential frauds could be that the developer could sell the same plots to multiple people and issue multiple sales deeds, but once a Khatta is obtained than no one can dispute your ownership. There are obviously other issues that could come up after registration like disputes with previous owners of the land and current squatters but that's a different matter.
Anyway basically Bharat was right in saying that I couldn't get my Khatta and that our plots were not securely on our name now. However the lawyer has found a way for me to obtain a Khatta from the panchayat. The panchayat office requires an NOC from the BMRDA. I have found a way to get this NOC. The BMRDA official I spoke to was the one who advised me to get the Khatta done. However the work wouldn't be over there, because the conversion of the property to the BMRDA agency has to also be done, and this can only be done for the whole project and not individual plots, so this is still in Vhf's hand. But they have told me that Bharat from Vhf has been in touch with them and that they are working on doing the conversion of the land and he estimated that it should be done within 3 months. I should get my Khatta in about a week's time, after which I can do a official government survey of my land and start building on it as well. I'm deciding to put up a fence for the time being and wait for the conversion to be done. After the conversion is done, my plot will automatically be upgraded to the Metropolitan level.
I hope this detailed explanation has been helpful to you. After meeting with the officials, I also got information that Bharat from Vhf has been asking investors to sign power of attorneys using excuses that it's necessary after his father's death. He has also been offering people compensation on their plots giving them only 25% of the value. Many investors have grabbed this amount because they just want to get out. Bharat is basically scamming these people and trying ways to acquire the plots since he knows how high the value has appreciated.
I can't speak much about how I went about getting the Khatta on a public forum, because people had to be "motivated" to get this work done. I had to pay a small sum of money, much less that what Bharat was demanding. However this was worth my while because the value of the property has gone up.
I'm willing to get whoever is interested in touch with my lawyer or you can also be in touch with me. I will update you all when I receive my Khatta. I will post a picture of it.

I am also facing similar problem with VHF Selve Farm Development.
I purchased a property in " VHF SELVE VATICAN GARDEN CITY" Phase VI, UNIT 68. At Hosur in 1993.
I agree with all comments and participants and would like to take legal action against Mr. Barath for cheating us of our hard earned money. We have paid him money for the land, maintanence well as the patta. Now we have no news about our land.
Such fraud should not be encouraged and we should not let him cheat anyone else like we were cheated.
I would be very grateful to anyone who can provide me with any address or phone no to get Barath.
I also noticed in some of the previous comments some people have claimed that barath is not cheating and all well, in that case could any of his well wishers give his information and prove us wrong or at least help us get the money invested as the investment was made keeping our retirement and old age in mind.

I have been trying to get an update from them for the past several years but i have received no response or that the project is delayed and it will be completed soon.
It seems like the company is trying to defraud its clients, i think that all the affected customers should unite and pursue legal action against VHF.

This is great - atleast there is a forum for investors to tap the information. I have been conned into this by the fraud Jagu (May his soul burn in hell permanently). I met his son who is another fraud, be careful before giving him money as you will never see anything done just like his father.
I wish we find a good lawyer who is willing to do the hard work and get this fixed - I am pretty sure the late Jagu, his wife, daughter and son are still worth billions and we can easily recover our money if we all chip in to fight this out in the court. This should ideally come from some one who is living in Chennai (he should be paid for his time) and we should then launch a class action.

I guess to say I am also sailing in the same boat is understatement as there will be thousands more like me. The only solution for this to happen is to hire a very good lawyer, and take the fraudsters to court, the late Jaggu had defrauded many thousands investors and now his son is carrying out the same practice of his father. I met him couple of years back and told him what he is doing is not right. There is nothing on my plot, empty and barren, no trees, no boundary to distinguish whose plot is whose.
The Jagganathan family has billions and their house in Chennai is worth atleast atleast 100 crores, it is a spacious bungalow on huge plot and in the centre of the city. I understand from other comments that Bharat is following his late father Jaggu's footstep and defrauding many more. Get someone from Madras who is knowledgeable and then we all contribute for the lawyers fees and the person's time as most of the investors are living abroad or outside Chennai. If someone is interested, then please let me know and I am willing to contribute.

death we gave Rs. 33, 000 for patta of both the plots, but received only for one plot's, that is plot 15. The time of the property purchase we are told By Mr Jaganathan for five years you cannot sell the property. He took from us maintanance fee for twenty years, but we have seen
very little signs of any maintanance. In fact our house in plot no. 15 is vandalised inspite of having watchmen over there.
