I have also bought a plot in Hosur. I have also went to their office thrice but no proper response and we return with a broken heart. I am also suggesting to form a commitee to take legal action aganist VHF. We should see to it that people like VHF should not fool others like they are fooling us.

I have been to their office at Hosur a few times. I have also seen the teak plantation close to chennai 5 years back in 2010, which seems to be in good condition. But trees were supposed to be cut in 2012 as per 20 year contract, But they said if we wait some more time, better the price, which is true when it comes to teak.
But I would like to join with all of you in forming; if not a committee, atleast a time when we can all go to their office and get straight forward answers on when investors will be paid up or any other queries.

The VHF property holding still remains a mystery. As I stated earlier in my posting, nothing positive have emerged from my "VHF property holdings".
I wonder whether it was one of the biggest cheating of the 21st century. Will some smart fellows build factories or farm houses on the so-called plots we own at Coimbatore, Hosur, and Vaigai etc., leaving us the losers.
Where is this Bharat anyway. Can CBI investigate on this matter, so that we can have some benefits from our VHF plot holdings.

My Father too bought into their teak plantation projects too around 93'-94' when he was in Bahrain, the one just off Malu-Bagalur. Road. We received a letter (Snailmail) from (Late)Mr.Jagannathan's son who is looking after VHF now, following which we made a visit to their SIPCOT phase1 office. During our chat he seemed to show quite a bit of interest in buying off the plot if we were to sell, offered around Rs-5~6 Lakhs for our 14000 sqft plot( About Rs 35/sqft). I did some research on land prices around the area, found out actual prices on projects and plot are around Rs400 ~ Rs800 in that area... (There are Software technology parks and villa projects coming up around the area) so guess prices as a result have gone through the roof and Mr Jaganathan's son is trying to leverage those prices to sell off to builders, that is probably the reason he is showed interest in contacting us...

Hi all,
We too own plots sold by VHF in Hosur and Kodai Teak estate since 16 years, tried to sell them off, but not being successful, no cooperation from VHF as well. If we had invested that amount in a plot in Kerala we could have made a good investment considering the rise in land value in the state.
If anyone can advise on this matter we would appreciate very much.

I have own a plot in VGP which is adjacent to VHP in kannimangalam, ( Hosur to Bagalore). The VHP property is really looking cool. Grown up teaks and fruits yielding mango trees . I used to see some guys are staying in the house just opposite to the layout . And often noticed some mini jeep inside VHF taking the mango’s. I feel that you don’t need to worry. I’m not about the quality of teak but it still looks awesome during monsoon. The brokers buy the land for 6 Lakhs and sell it around 8 to 12 L . If you are willing to sell better post it in forums and sell it directly. All the best .

hi all,
I am EZHIL advocate, chennai.
one of my clients from Gulf, approached me regarding her plots in phase XVII in VHF Badathepalli village. I have visited the property, approached revenue department, obtained Patta, Chitta, Adangal, A-Register (UDR Period) and updated my client's name in all revenue registry. I also obtained the layout sketch and sent to her.
As I am a specialist in land based litigation and non litigation, I was able to do all liaison works without approaching VHF company. Infact I was in HOSUR in late 90s and hence i am able to do.
As a lawyer i suggest you as follows:
1. It is not wise to go for legal battle because you have to struggle for few years in court of law and waste of money. You may lodge criminal complaint and at the end police may arrest the director of company but he will come on bail in few days.
2. First identify you property. The agreement you entered into with the company is expired and now you can take possession of the property.
3. Either you construct a farm house/hut - if it is 50 to 100 houses are there you can appoint securities for your your gated community.
4. Form an association - it should be registered under Societies Act to take care of the properties.
5. The easy way to save your money is try to sell your properties there as soon as possible since, no water, no electricity, no roads are there to survive.
6. Before doing anything as i stated above, please allign your deeds of title and revenue records and obtain a legal opinion from a lawyer (who has good knowledge over lands including land ceiling matters).
Hope I made it clear to you all and this is nothing but a mail for awareness and for the benefit of land owners.

The money you paid at the time of purchasing your plots are several times more than the actual value. Developer collected such huge money not only for the value of land but also for their commitment of growing so many trees, but failed.
