I recharged for Rs 1400/- today via internet using my credit card.
I recharged looking at theoptions available on your website. It was 1400/- for New Gold Sports for 6 months + 15 days.

There is no mention of the Old Gold Sports pack on your website.

To my surprise I found that my recharge was vaild for 5 1/2 months only and still under the "Old" category. On calling your stupid customer care centre, I was told that I should have changed my package. What is this "you should have"?

When the customer trusts you and pays his hard earned money, how can you fool him? What is stopping you from changing my package and giving me the validity that is rightfully mine?

Now when New Gold Sports is the only category on your website and there is no mention about Oler one, how can I be charged for some non existant category?

Effectively, I have lost a month worth of recharge. I demand that my validity be restored immediately to 6 months + 15 days.

When a new package with effectively the same channels is available, how can you ask the customet to continue with the more expensive older package?


I will now ensure that you lose atleast 10 customers. I too will go for a different service once my package validity ends. I will go for TATA SKY as they dont cheat people.

Other than this too...the Universal remote is horrible, malfunctions, needs to be programmed repeatedly. The service too is poor, freezes at times

The customer care people are well trained so you will feel like they are very good and if you got a reply in a minute how will you feel about them. Day3(4Th Oct 2010):
After this I never got any call from Dish TV as they got the money. I called M/S VAJRA COMMUNICATIONS (SF) ,phone [protected] he told no they are not doing this I asked please give some no so that I can contact Dish TV he told to see the web site.

I tried all the no given on the website not a single no is working all are busy 247. So i lost hope.

Day4(5Th Oct 2010):
I got an idea can I order again. I just fill the form in a minute i got a call for a new connection. I asked him the status of token no 20533 after 5 min he put me on hold and told you will get a call from our sales team today and it will be installed today. I waited till EOD no call nothing happen.

Day5(6Th Oct 2010):
As Customer care no never works i fill the form again. I got a call from Customer care and listen the same thing they will never say sales team no or to whom they have send my details for installation as they don't have the information. They will cut you phone if you ask any question. I try to fill the online booking form again and again to talk to the Customer care regarding my status. As they came to know me they never called me. So i lost all my hope.

Day6(7Th Oct 2010):
I got one more idea by changing all the details i fill the online booking form in a minute i got the call. Same story repeat. I never got a connection. I got some Diller no from them and try to call them they told no we are not doing this as they will not get any money as you have booked online. So till now I didn't got any connection or not able to cancel the booking as they will not do. So please help me what I have to do. To all my readers please never do any online booking for Dish TV it's better if you pay the money after the installation. If still you got a connection lot of problem will be there after that I have no idea about this. I choose Dish TV by reading one article over net. I will prove that the article is wrong.

I will update this if I got the connection.

I leaved in Ahmedabad Ghatlodiya area. I purchased Videocon D2H on 06/05/2010 Name of Mr. Dinesh Khatri from Ahmedabad Dealer. So many times I complained your Helpline number but Not happy with your D2H service. First I complained dated on 01/08/2010 complain No. 16248159 after so many days problem but I am not write any complain number. I purchased last 5 months back I really face discontented and picture not clear problem with it. Please change my Videocon D2H dish or give me money back. I really unhappy with your service. Dear Sir/Madam

I have a dual connection of Videocon D2h; one is satellite DVD and another one is set top box; I have facing a problem of E-16-4 Technical error for which I have spoken with customer care officers of D2h; but I have not got any satisfactory response; they always asked me to call again they can not give me complaint number; however after continuous follow up; I got a complaint number and work order number; one of their technical supervisors arrived at my home and they have change one of part of my Satellite DVD but again it was not started the same error was showing again; they told me taht it will be rectify after 2 hours and we should keep out TV and DVD on for that period; I have done same and I kept it on for more then 3 hours but condition was same.

However; I have again spoken the customer care officer and he again give me a new complain number and work order number ;the problem is still same.I have realized that ever since I have purchased that product; Its having problem again and again; it might be possible that they have give me a defective product; their is no proper response from Videocon people.

Actually there is no job of this kind.

I am one of the fans for this videocon services and I have paid for one year subscription.
Recently, they have started making propaganda advertisements in the Telugu News Papers regarding their offers for New South Diamond, etc. and enlisted in clear terms the names of the 18( eighteen ) channels of TELUGU Channels that would be given to the subscribers.
When I changed over to this scheme through my customer ID number: 7589453 and my request number: 18127415 dated 08-9-201. In the earlier package, I used to get only 13 channels in Telugu as against present 18 channels as advertised now by them. They promised that with effect from[protected] I shall be given all the 18 channels and informed that my balance amount of Rs:2900/- has been adjusted to this new package from[protected] and that I shall be charged Rs:290/- per month on this account, for which I agreed.
Very surprisingly, out of the five channels—that is, out of extra Telugu channels, SVBC; Bhakhi; Z-24Ghantalu; DD-Saptagiri; and Navvulu, they have just given only one extra channel “ Navvulu” with effect from[protected]. When contacted, they informed that I have to compromise with the other 4 channels which they are putting in State Direct, etc. and that is all. They were not inclined to answer any further queries as to how they gave only one channel as against the five channels as advertised; and that this tantamount to breach of their advertisement promise to the customer, that they have discovered as their tool- the TELUGU channel people by giving misleading/false/deceptive and the like, which may attracts customer complaint in the Forum, etc. They have no answer.
MY QUESTION IS THIS: WHEN THEY COULD GIVE” NAVVULU”CHANNEL AS PER THEIR ADVERTISEMENT ( WHICH WAS ADDED TO ME FROM[protected] ONLY), WHY THEY SHOULD GO BACK TO GIVE ALL THE OTHER LEFT BEHIND FIVE CHANNELS, BY WHICH ALL THE 18 TELUGU CHNNELS SHALL BE AND CAN BE VIEWED WITHOUT ANY ANONOMOLY, ETC.

I had taken the Airtel D2H connection in July 1800 rupees 4month subscription.

I had request for relocating my Airtel D2H connection from Pune to My Bangalore address on 24th August. Twice 300 has been deducted against my account as relocation charges but not even once a single technician has visited my place nor have i received any call back. I have raised about 20 complaints in the past two months but there has been no resolution from Airtel D2H customer care.

This absolute fraud by Airtel D2H, I have lost two months of subscription and 600 rupees against fradualent relocation which has never happened.

Please do not ever take anything that is related to Airtel, they are crooks.

We have bought Videocon d2h dish tv 2 months before.But after 1 and 1/2 months it was not working properly.One day suddenly it stopped working permanently.

We have lodged a complaint in customer service and they said me that the problem is going to be resolved in 48 hours.But today is the 7th day but every time that i am calling regularly to them.Whenever i am lodging a complaint , alternate day a person calling to my cell and says that i am coming to resolve your problem at evening or night or morning , but they don't come and we perish.

After 7 long days now they are saying that we don't have remote available with us and it will take more time.When i want to know when the remote will come , they just cut my no.

I think we all have TV with us and we all know how to operate it without a remote.
Just i want to ask , is it the proper way of handling your customers.

I: I have subscribed for Videocon-d2h-- TV Channels- by paying for one year in July, 2010. But they informed that my subscription is valid only up to May, 2011. When I contacted, they said, this shall be upgraded and they will send message duly correcting the date/Month, but nothing has been corrected till date, i.e. my subscription stands only up to May,2011as per their version and thus they have deviated from the promise and the services of one year (12 months) payment reduced to 10(TEN) months;( Second Issue follows in next Para):
II: Videocon-d2h published advertisement in September,2010-first week-TELUGU DAILY NEWS PAPERS, like EENADU, giving details about their launching of "NEW SOUTH PACKAGE" giving details of 18 numbers of Telugu Channels & stated that all the 18 Telugu Channels- shall be activated in addition to other Channels and so many other 266 Channels and services in this NEW SOUTH PACKAGE .
III: Based on the above advertisement, on[protected], I have contacted the Videocon-d2h services on phone-[protected]. The Technical Experts after verifying their records informed me that my subscription- pre-paid amount of Rs:2900/- shall be adjusted for the New South Package and duly adjusting RS:2900/- by activating to get all the 18 Channels -Telugu- as advertised in the Telugu News Papers from[protected] onwards and given request reference Number as 18127415 dated[protected]. They have also promised that -- in addition to the earlier Telugu Channels (13), five more Telugu Channels, that is- Navvulu Channel; Zee24 Telugu Channel; DD-Saptagiri Channel; SVBC Channel( SriVenkateswara Bhakti Channel) ; and Bhakti Channel shall be activated to me from[protected] onwards. Customer ID Number:7589453.
IV: When I have contacted them again on[protected], and complained to them that except -Navvulu Channel, I am not getting other 4 Telugu Channels- named above- as advertised in the Telugu News Papers and complained to them about deviation and noncompliance of their promise to the customer and stated to them that they failed to adhere to their contract agreement as advertised and promised to the South/ Telugu Customers like me;
The Gentleman, Technical Expert tried to state that these 4-four Channel are coming in their "APPLICATIONS- LIKE STATE CHANNEL; DHARSHAN ACTIVE, AND CHANNEL ACTIVE -- and asked me to me go to the Application Services.

V: Strangely enough, I informed him that these channels I am already getting in the Application services, but their advertisement was something else which should be included in the 18 general / activated Channels like Navvulu Channel, and clarified to him that these 4 Channels are not coming in general Channels( not activated) along with Navvulu and other 13 Telugu Channels and they are adjusting in very very small screen, which is nothing but misdirecting the Telugu Channel Viewers, like me, and others and deviated from their original advertisements, and might be falsely trying to attract the Telugu Viewers, like to mislead and get extra payment/ money/subscribe to them; this is nothing but thrash and wrong/false/misleading advertisement;
VI: When they could activate Navvulu Channel in general channels services as per advertisement, and as promised from[protected]Channel Number-886), why they should fail to Activate other 4 -above stated Channels also, that is - Zee24 Channel; DD Saptagiri Channel; SVBC; and Bhakti Channel as promised and advertised by them; What shall be their motive behind such false/wrong advertisements in Telugu regional newspapers.
VI: Kindly look in to the matter and settle the issue by which action of YOURS all the TELUGU Viewers in the South like me can also enjoy the devotional channels through Videocon d2h, as promised by them............
