Videocon AC — Very poor customer service

I purchased VIdeocon AC model no. VSR 5233 on March 04, 2009. From the very first day the installation was not proper and the flair nut was broken due to which the gas leaked completely. I raised a complaint in the customer care regarding the same for which the service person came to my residence after 10 days and that too after calling 5 times each day. Everyday I was told that today someone will be calling and will come to fix the issue but no one came inspite of my continuos follow-up. And after 5 days the AC was fixed, I am still observing no cooling even after seting the temperature at 16 C. I am now feelling cheated by the dealer from whom I purchased the AC. I should have gone for Bluestar/LG/Samsung regarding which I have heard that they provide service within 24 hrs.

Pls suggest what can I do here.

I have the same problem . I have purchased Videocon split AC on 16th april 2009, the worst decision I have taken so far . The first day itself it had some problem, so they replaced the compressar. We thought it should be working fine then .

But it Stopped cooling in another 10 days :(, now I am calling them repeatedly ..but this customer service wont respond, they will say, the service man will come by this morning, evening blah blah and the whole day just passes away. The temperature is so hot and we have to survive without AC because of this people.

I regret buying this stupid A.C, and will recommend everyone that please dont buy this product . Its sheer waste of money and time

Videocon AC — Poor customer service

Hi

I bought a Videocon AC on 6-June-09. The fan stopped working within 3 months.

I registered a complaint with the customer service on 9th of September. The service received was highly poor and incompetent. It is almost two months now but the AC is still in non working condition. Almost every day I contact the service center, the dealer, the customer service, the service area manager however false promises are made every day to close the complaint.

I never thought that a company which spends so much on marketing the products could have such a low leveled service plan.

I bought a new vedicon LCD on 30/Oct/2009, i requested for demo when the person came for giving demo he found that it is not getting switch on, after he escalate the issue after one week technisian came and check he said mother board need to replace i have been waiting from 20 days to make it fix even they are not giving for replace when i went to the dealer he said like u have to deal with vediocon support only we can't now they are simply telling that for getting mother board it will take one more week, please better to not go for Vediocon

This is regarding the air conditioner I bought from

Videocon on 25th of Feb 2009 from a worthless NEXT

showroom at Tilaknagar. Starting with the bad service of

"Next"... these people at next onl know how to make

promises and commitments with the customers and never

fulfil them, NEXT in my knowledge the WORST SERVICE

PROVIDERS in their field. I dont recommmend NEXT to any

of you readers. I have bought in total 5 AC's and one TV

from NEXT but I am not happy with any of these products

or services. So in short.. go with these private

showrooms coz they might not be as big a name as NEXT

but their service is much better...dnt go for NEXT.

Now lets come to Videocon.. well actually its the name

"Video" + "Con" .. so thats what they do. "Con" that

means "cheat". Thier products are horrible and the

service is even terrible. The attached picture is of the

same Videocon AC that I have been using at my home. I

bought it in feb2009 and since then have only been

facing issues. It costed me INR 17,600/- only but I

never knew that saving a few thousand bucks and not

buying any other brand would cost me so much. Since I

bught Videocon, we have recieved 3 or mores free

services from Videocon and none of which were done

properly, techinician just came did some formal brushing

and went, they didnt even try touching or checking the

outdoor unit which has to be cleaned. I trusted Videocon

on this as I did not have knowledge of the service and

didnot know how it is done..but all what i GOT WAS

CHEATING !! Now this AC has stopped cooling and I have been calling the customer service every now and then.. but no action !!

So please go for good brands only.. which means no videocon.. and if anybody from Videocon reads this.. atleast have some self respect and tke some action.

videocon airconditioner — Bad service and bad product

I bought an air conditioner last year (2009) from Next Tilaknagar and the brand is videocon, since then it is giving me problems ... and i supposed to get 3 free services for one year . I got the product serviced .. though i had to suffer alot for getting the technician come to my place since first of all the guys at the customer support were so bad and they knew nothing abt the procedure and they talked as if they were robots . They just kept on repeeating the same things again and agian .. Technician was supposed to get to my place in 24 hrs frm the time i contacted the customer supported and technician never came in time I had to get the complaint frowarded again and again . I was so frustated that i bursted on the agents some times because of which they gave me the number of the Service Station .. and the worst part is that no one picks up the call at the service station (Apolo Services and the guys name is Amit) . After atleast 5 days technician used to come to my place and he never serviced the product properly .. maybe because he had so much work he had to service many ac's on the same day . But the service that the technicain provided was not at satisfactory . He never cleaned the out door unit because of which the out door unit got blocked and i had to get it cleaned by a local technician this year and i had to pay for that . Even after getting my ac serviced 3 times in last one year . And now that ac is not at all working .. and i am facing the same problem again because its been 10 days since i have asked the technician to visit my place ... and now i have not even received a call frm them. Videocon has the work customer service .. and worst products . And they give wrong informations to customers while selling the product and they never look back to atleast give good reception to customer . I was going to buy a samsung AC just because i was given wrong informations ny NEXT retailer i changed my mind and bought 3 ac's frm them and they are facing the same problem . Ac's are not at all working . And i would suggest everybody to never buy a product frm them . They are the worst brand .

I agree to some extent.I had a rather good experience as far as the quality of the product(split 1.5 tonne) is concerned.However customer care service needs to understand the very meaning of the words constituting the same.
I have been using Videocon split AC since 1995 trouble free.However in the current year faced operational problem and lodged complaint with Delhi based customer care centre on21.04.2010.I talked to two persons namelyKishore and Monica explaining my need, provided contact number, address and was given a number DEL[protected] and they disconnected the line without informing as to when should I expect the technician for undertaking the repair.To my surprise 2 gentleman(I didnot see their credentials or noted their name) who identified as representative of Videocon, arrived at my place and started the job.In the meantime due to loadshedding in my area they could not carryot the job further.They left the premises with promiss to revisit next day by 1000 hrs.They have not visited the place so far resulting in A/C remaining in deassembled position.Efforts to contact the Customercare has resulted in this communication.
Will the person concerned who may by mistake read this take some appropraite action so that my experience of this good product is not translated into the one expressed by others i.e.I loose confidence?

I have also faced the same problem with these people. Really Videocon Service is hopeless case.

Not to recommend any one to purchase a product whose servicing is done by Videocon.

Videocon — poor quality product & poor company service

a new VIDEOCON TV VSN34SSJ purchased on 30th March 2010 starts developing problems in june2010 ie within the 1st 3 months of purchase.. spots start appearing on the screen.. and by the 2nd week of July 2010 just stops working completely. A complaint was made on 11/07/2010 -MUM [protected] attended by Mr Narayan.. but within 5mins of the service man leaving the TV stops working again. another complaint was made on 17/07/2010 MUM [protected] and spoke with the supervisor Mr Shrikant Chavan who gave an assurance that another service man would come over and do the needful.but no one has come for the same.

i have introduce many people to take that connection , and i have 3 numbers using my home my number is [protected] i will join on the early time ther connection started . but still they have reduce ther offers by by increasing costomers. that doesn't matter but still they are cheating with ther offers by over billing . if we doesn't chek that gone from us 4 days i am in troble

i purchase videocon split a/c on 02.03.2012 at uppal godown, but on 28.04.2013 that was repaired, i raised complain about this, service person came and confirmed that outdoor unit already used and serviced, now compressor gone, you have to purchase new one only. IN THAT COMPRESSOR ONE STICKER IS THERE NO GUARNTEE/NO WARANTY.

videocon is third class brand, dear my friend don't buy videocon

Same thing happened with me. I bought videocon split AC 1.5T last year in June. Some days before completion of one year, suddenly one night the fan of the outdoor unit broken without any external force. it also damaged the condenser. Service centre people said that it may happen due to some bird came in contact with the fan. My question is that the fan is covered in a grill, how could a bird get inside the unit. Secondly if a bird came inside it then where did she went when the service person opened the unit for repairing. It must die there. First time I faced this type of problem that without any reason the fan broke.

So my advice is not to use any videocon product in future and suggest your friend and family you care about that they also not use videocon product and save their valuable money.

Videocon A/C — Gas leakage

I had buy 1 A/C from Ezone 2 months back now the problem is that the AC gas is leakage i don’t know how when I call to Ezone executive mr. Aleem he told me I forward the compliant to technical department for the same after 2 days 1 men has come and told me your gas pipe is leakage how the new AC gas will leakage in 2 months only, now i want the new AC pls guide me how I get this bcoz I don’t wont to that AC why should I used repair AC I bought new AC in 2 months the gas leakage problem is not my fault its a company fault pls guide me the prosicer how should I get this.

Videocon — Inoperative brand new VIDEOCON

On 23.06.09 I have Purchase one VIDEOCON "Xpress cook" 25L microwave oven
model number: EG2253P from M/s KHOSLA ELECTRONICS. 110, RAJA S.C.MULLICK
ROAD, KOLKATA-700 047, & said Microwave oven delivered on: 01.07.09 at my
residence. Immediately it was observed that it supplied with damaged body,
and doesn't work. It is really surprise that new microwave oven purchasing
from show room not at all working at kitchen. How do a customer will feel it? Matter
immediately informed to your dealer M/s KHOSLA ELECTRONICS. 110, RAJA
S.C.MULLICK ROAD, KOLKATA-700 047, but they told that they are only seller
rest all matter looks after by customer care. It is surprised to note such
a big company with name & fame not giving importance to there customer
because neither their local customer care is interested to attend the call
(Ph.[protected] nor they are talking properly.

However, Some of their service engineer Mr. Abhijeet sarkar visited to my
residence on lodging a telephonic (Ph.[protected] complain with humble request.
Said person told that, it’s body & inside coil is damage. He neither rectified nor given any
advice to me except asked me to contact with service center again. I don’t
know how many times I have to contact with VIDEOCON service center! After that
he never turns out. Also there is no provision for any docket numbers
against lodging complain from VIDEOCON local customer care center as such to
provide evidence against any complains! Now I want to know who will look in to the
matter. Is this the way of VIDEOCON after sale service for customer? Please advice

Videocon window A/C — Three times gas leakage in one year

i purchased a videocon window a/c on 3/5/2006 from sushmitha marketings hanamkonda warangal for my room messuring 10*8*7feet.i stay out of the station most of the time.the problem started one year back.the authorised serviceman said that there is gas leakage.he repaired it chaeging rs.2,500=00.the same problem appeared after three months.they charged 1,700=00 for repair.the machine was barely used because of rainy and winter seasons.now the begining of when i started to use,it worked properly for two (2)days and the same problem reappeared.when icontacted the same dealer he advised me to purchase anew unit.

Videocon A/C — non functional

I had bought an a/c from videocon dealer - Thermoking on 10th April 2010.
Despite repeated requests the demo guy came for a demo after over 1 month only to tell me that the reason my product is not working is because there is not gas in the a/c or the pipe has a leak.
I have been following up with the complaint registration dept and the ensuring all possible communication via email, sms, telephone but there is not response.
I have a list of mails sent from my mail box requesting for a service / replacement and have made the same request to the dealer as well.
This is causing utmost dissatisfaction to me for the purchase of product and after sale service.
I have not even been given a complaint number.

Videocon — a/c repair

Hello Sir,

I Purchased a Videocon Split A/C on Sep 2009. I had series of A/C complaints from May 2010. We have called their service station a thousand of time but the response was very very poor. First time when we registered on May, they took nearly a month to sent some to home and repair it through some agency they hold. Very soon after their repair, the a/c again malfunctioned in June. Now from July 2010 we are trying to log the complaint, Only by last week (First week Aug 2010) they registered the complaint. After series of visits by their agents no one has till date repaired the product instead they have made the room a complete mess.

Kindly help us on how to approach or end this problem.. We still have two week for the warranty of the product.

I THINK THE PERSON IS JUST TAKING THE TV FROM CUSTOMER AND TRYING TO MAKE MONEY BY OTHER MEANS AND CHEATING THE CUSTOMER.

i have purchased 32"lcd integra model in jan 2009 till date it is thrice time defect found one time his pcb board defective 2nd time its main mother board defective third time his tuner found defective what should i do ?I just know why company can low down his image on consumer on selling this type of product.poor performance, poor quality of service, no availability of spare partsin time. I was told to regiester my address and mobile no. at http://www.d2hvideocon.com to get the gift. After registering I again received a sms to log in the site for getting the gift. There they have told me to deposit Customer Service Tax of Rs.440 in the account of Mr.Jayanta Kumar Choudhury Aur Account Number [protected] of State Bank of India, whom they have introduced as D2H VIDEOCON Senior Executive From Mumbai Branch office. I am sure this person is a fraud and is trying to make money by misusing the name of Videocon. Following is the copy of the instruction in the website:

I agree with all of you. The disheartening fact is that although this fact is reported to the company concerned ie., the original videocon d2h service, nothing is been done from their end concrete enough to book these culprits. They should have already alerted through all mobile service providers and giving public advertisement stating the facts straight so that these fraudsters do not dupe other people. The most dangerous thing is that the site : www.d2hvideocon.com/payment is using the name of "VERISIGN" and "PAYSEAL" to lure prospective customers to give their credit card/internet banking details. Does it take too much time to nab these culprits, or it matters nothing becoz people at large are getting duped. God save these country.

Same here i got the message on 2nd June. It was very clear this was a fraud the moment it asked for the deposit amount. I called up the d2h videocon toll free number and the person said they are aware of this and apologized for the inconvienince which was nice on their part ...however, the irony is, this is still continuing. I see the earliest complaint was in April and now it is June and its still happening. Wonder, why nobody is taking any action !! At the least d2h videocon should be doing something, since this is using their brand name and an 'almost give away' webpage. Very concerning !!! but such is the world we live in :( sigh !! . I received the same message. But I enquired first with real Videocon customer service, where i came to know that there was no such offer from Videocon. I then enquired Chennai, State Bank of India if there is an account in such name. Then Bank Manager has told me that there is an Account in that name and account is in Kolkata. but the mobiles has automatically switch off with in 5mininutes and in any software the mobile software is not support so please send the software for videocon mobiles (v1306)

I had bought videocon V1425 and the mobile got hangon ... after a week and that to so many times in a day... so I had raised a complaint and came to know that there is a problem in board and I had submitted my mobile at service centre and i had walked for more than 8 times but in vain and even it takes nearly half an hour to connect to the customer care no and after connecting also there was no guarantee that the call will remain connected till we raise a request, then again another half an hour we need to wait... the most funniest customer care, i had seen in my life - they will say only one thing @ "we will sort out the problem as early as possible" but there won't be any thing from their end and even they will ask you to call back after 72hrs but surprisingly the call remains in open and you need to follow up the same for every 72 hrs...

They are simply making customer fools by selling low quality mobiles...

Spare parts are more expansive in respect to the price...

I totally agree to you as i m also a suffrer of bad purchase selection of vediocon.
I purchased a Vediocon V1655 & lost the charger, Thats my fault.
Bur for last 4 months i m hunting for the charger wondring from one service centre to other. but not able to get it.
I dont now why vediocon is performing so bad in after sale service.

speaking about the handset, it is horrible it no battery life, set gets hot after 2 minute talk, it Hangs, touch screen is disguisting, on the whole it is a blunder in product development. I would take an oppertunity to warn the readers DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANY VEDIOCON PRODUCT.

I am working with Defene Minister, in the Ministry of Defene South Block New Delhi I had bought a mobile phone No. V 1750 S/N: DD1750CE0001534 Color Brown and IMEI1: [protected], IMEI2: [protected] from M/s PRINTRONIX, Ground Floor S-529, School Block Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi-110092 Tin No. [protected], and Invoice No. 3733 on 21st September 2010. After 5 days it creates lots of problem like touch screen problem, camera was not working properly etc. in the meantime it was hag up on 4th October 2010 night. On the advice of the shopkeeper I was contacted to the Videocon service Centre, they promised me that this set will be rectified within 2-3 days (upto 7th October 2010), till today no fruitful action has been taken so far. During this process I spent lost of my valuable time and money. I was also facing psychologically harassment. (and Videocon customer care complaint No.DIK[protected]IB to Diksha Dated on 13 October in morning).

2. In view of the position stated above, I may be requested that please look into the matter personally and pass on suitable instructions to the concerned for issuing me a other new set, if it is not possible kindly refund the requisite amount to me at the earliest. I ‘ll be gratefully to you.

It is still in warranty period. we got the call centre number for repairing services required as water inlet knob of machine was broken.On 12feb 09 i filed a complaint no.AGR [protected], but knob was not repaired, although a visit was made from the service just to note down which part is broken although it was already told by me.On inquiring another complaint no was given to me AGR [protected], but again Knob was not repaired.On enquiring they say that visit was given.But still we are waiting from last 12days for the machine to be repaired

you should take action against this.as i also got such kind of mail and to deposit 11, 700 rupees.its fraud as per website there are no such vacancies.
