THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT I OWN A DOUBLE DOOR WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR (ICE MAGIC)CLASSIC PLUS.IT GOT REPAIRED ON 8TH DECEMBER 2008.I REGISTER A COMPLAINT WITH THE WHIRLPOOL CUSTOMER CARE BEARING NO:(CALL CENTER:[protected],BSNL:[protected]). A TECHNICIAN CAME FROM SRI MARUTHI ENGINEERING(AUTHORIZED SERVICE PARTNER FOR WHIRLPOOL) ON 3-2-09 AND REPLACED SOME PARTS WORTH Rs.4100(dated 3-2-09,bill no.10741&11468) AND SERVICE CHARGES Rs.285/-(dated 3-2-09,bill no.10696)AND THE FRIDGE STARTED WORKING FOR ONE DAY,IT STOPPED WORKING THE NEXT DAY WITH THE SAME PROBLEM.I AGAIN CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE I GAVE A COMPLAINT . ANOTHER TECHNICIAN came on 19-2-09 AND CHANGED ONE MORE PART WORTH Rs.450(dated 19-2-09,bill no.11475).THE FRIDGE STARTED WORKING AND NEXT DAY THE SAME PROBLEM. I GAVE AGAIN COMPLAINT AND INFORMED ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND ASKED ABOUT SERVICE WARRANTY (FOR REPLACEMENT OF SPARES).FROM THEN THE CUSTOMER CARE WAS SAYING THAT THEY WILL SEND "SERVICE ENGINEER "TO REPAIR , AND THIS TIME THEY WONT CHARGE ANYTHING FOR THE REPAIR. BUT UNFORTUNATELY INSPITE OF REGULAR COMPLAINTS THEN AFTER NOBODY ATTENDED THE REPAIR.THE FRIDGE IS STILL LYING UNUSED BECAUSE OF REPAIR. KINDLY HELP ME IN THIS REGARD. MY CUSTOMER ID GIVEN BY WHIRLPOOL IS HD/C/1208/67706. THE COMPLAINT NUMBERS LODGED WITH CUSTOMER CARE ARE AS FOLLOWS HD-[protected],HD-[protected],HD-[protected],HD-[protected].PLEASE TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST MOST IRRESPONSIBLE SERVICE GIVEN BY WHIRLPOOL. The refrigerator many times stops on its own (the light glows, but no cooling).After being in this condition (till everything inside gets messed up) suddenly it starts working again. I have changed the gas, compressor etc etc and still the problem exists. The service engineer guys are fools who just tell some reason or other instead of fixing real problem.
So please don't buy any whirlpool products .. The company is good for nothing.
