I have sent the following letter on 04.11.2009. Even after one week, I have not received any response from the company.

COMPLAINT REGARDING WASHING MACHINE.

I have purchased a fully automatic Whirlpool washing machine Model WM – FS60DLX on 19.08.2007 from M/s. Bismi, Ernakulam. There was a complaint to the machine during August 2008 and it has been repaired by M/s. Jiss Engineers, Thalayolaparambu, Vaikom, Kottayam (Ph. [protected], [protected]) who are the authorized Service engineers for Whirlpool Washing Machines.

Two months back just after seven days of warranty period, the machine has stopped functioning and M/s. Jiss Engineers have repaired the same on 04.09.2009 and charged Rs. 3500/- as the cost of the motherboard they have replaced. Within one week the machine stopped functioning and one week after reporting, they have repaired the machine. Again within a week the machine stopped functioning. For the last four weeks the machine is not functioning. Even though I have taken up the matter with M/s. Jiss Engineers several times, they have not yet solved the problem.

I have taken up the matter with Mr. Siraj of your Ernakulam Office (Cochin) in his phone number[protected] on 26.10.2009 and he assured me that my washing machine would be repaired within a day. On 30.10.2009 I have contacted Mr. Siraj again and he has informed me that he shall contact me within half an hour but not contacted. After one hour I rang up three times and all the times I was not able to talk to him and Mr. Robin who has attended the phone informed me that Mr.Siraj is busy with another customer. He has not called me back.

On 29.10.2009 I have contacted your Service Department through the toll free number [protected] and they have informed me that M/s. Jiss Engineers has not registered the complaint in the portal till date. They have registered a fresh complaint and given me a complaint number 12004.

On 30.10.2009, I have contacted Your Service Engineers on Ph. [protected]. They have properly attended my call. Subsequently I have received a call from Ph. [protected] (Kannur) and the caller assured me that he would do the neeful. As the complaint has not yet been solved, I have called back to the number Ph. [protected] (Kannur) on 03.11.2009, the response was to contact some other person in Kochi Service center.


All the above are for getting repaired a two-year-old Whirlpool Washing Machine after spending Rs. 3500/- within two years. For the last two months, the washing machine is not properly functioning and for the last one month, it is not at all working.


The Washing Machine is a defective piece and the service provided by your people is far from satisfaction. I find it as a Herculean task to get it repaired from your people. Hence I request you to replace my defective Washing Machine with a brand new one at your cost.

If my grievance is not resolved within a week’s time, please be aware that, you are forcing me for taking further steps.

why dont you buy the product from any local dealer other than going till bismi ernakulam from vaikom. you will loose your time money and now not even able to get the service as you are not getting the dealers attention.
Always buy from any local dealer so that they will be helpful when u need some service or help.
Don't buy anything from Bismi, I had a very bad experience. I bought a sony cybershot camera from bismi in august 2010. As the quality of the images were not really up to the mark, i decided to change it to a higher sony model. They keep advertising that they will exchange and I went for an exchange to bismi, the price of the same model is around INR 5400/- the exchange value i was offered is INR 1000/-, The camera is hardly 10 months old and has a 3 year warranty from Sony. I took the camera to Fridehouse in Kadavanthara and got it exchanged for a nikon coolpix and they offered an exchange value of INR 2000/- eventhough I had not purchased the same from them. Hence request to the public is don't waste your money at Bismi!!!

    I CONTACTED AT AHMEDAVAD OFFICE AND PROBLEM GOT RESOLVED.

    I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU THAT IN A WARRANTY PERIOD ,I HAVE TO CONTACT

    TO LOCAL SERVICE STATION IN MY CITY OR DEALER FROM WHERE I PURCHASED

    REFRIGERATOR.

    WHY I SHOULD CONTACT DIRECTLY AT AHMEDAVAD FOR LODGING COMPLAINT ?

    i bought whirlpool refrigerator on[protected] from Harsha, Mangalore.
    on[protected] my refrigeratorwas repaired by authorised service agents, SAI KIRAN SERVICES
    FOR Rs 1880. the amt paid was for gas filling, drier, inspection charges etc.
    today, a year has not yet lapsed, i'm encounterin the same problem again.
    no cooling.

    on calling the agents, they have told me that gas filling guarantee is for six months & i will have to pay again.
    is this justice?
    i have purchased one 310 ltr refrigerator elite model from BETTER DEALS on 24.10.10 wide bill no.888 but today when your engineer came to give us the demo i found a big dump on one side of the refrigerator and as per his words i got the new one from the company and it will take a max.a week as you are aware that the diwali is on head and if i got the new one after the diwali so it is of no use so kindly send me the new one in a day or two, other wise i want my money back. kindly look into this matter as urgent and revert back to me at the earlierst

      Hi ,

      I am nishant thakur from kolkata.I purchased a washing machine from hiland park ,big bazar on 15th october 2009.They haven't delivered the WhirlPool/Washing Machine on expected date and i faced lot of problems because of that.When they delivered the washing machine on 8th november ,it was bent from one side .It was realy a problem ,as my parents were only india .They had faced problems like sending bills to fax and all that.Still things are under water.Please help me as i am not in india.

        Customer service is bad

        We have Whirlpool Elite 220 model refrigerator and we have been using it for last 5 years. The plastic boxes for vegetable, chiller tray is got damaged when I called up customer service to find out where can I get any replacements in bangalorem the buddy took registered a complaint and said someone from company will get in touch with you. After 4 days, a person comes to home with vegetable box.. and hands over a bill of Rs. 700

        Hi Sir,

        I have raised a complaint for the service of Whirlpool White Magic Washing Machine on 24th October 2009,Complaint No: 14673 (It is still in warrenty period). After two days one engineer visited my house and informed us that the board of the washing machine needs to be changed and he informed that he will be back in two days. But we haven't get any update. Mean time i have contacted call centre three times and they have assured me of getting a call from the service center in the same day. I tried to contact the engineer who has visited my house. As per him the part is unavailable and will take two more days to get it . Now it is more than two weeks,but nothing happend yet. What i have to understand from this?

        I have opted Whirlpool because I have expected good customer care from such a branded company. But i am very much disappointed with your service. I tried to contact the service center in Chennai in[protected], which i got from call centre.I don't understand why they are disconnecting the call. Is this the condition then please clear me "WHAT IS MEAN BY CUSTOMER CARE".

        Whirlpool White Magic — Washing Machine Repair

        My Washing Machine is not in working condition for the last 3 months and I want that to be repaired as soon as possible but first get back to me on the given below Mobile Number then I will tell you when would you send the person to reapair it, Please do me a favour qickly.

        After great difficulty, a complaint had been lodged for mud cleaining . the work was done after a reminder complaint given that to after 4 days. Now, the problem is the foul odour in the machine. We have complained twice. 15 days have elapsed . After the complaint was made on the second time, one person called over phone and assured the service will be provided within 3 hours, but 3 days have lapsed without any service. Further, the person is asking us to contact their workshop number and make a complaint to the regional works manager by name Rajesh if the service is not provided.

        Once complaint is lodged, it is their duty to provide the service. Why the customer should talk to anybody for reminding them?. The service is very poor and irresponsive . the company is delinquent in service as agreed. They should drawn to the court under Consumer Protection Act.

        Whirlpool White Magic — No Service from you end

        Let me indtroduce myself I am William and I bought a Wirlpool White Magic Washing Machine on 02.06.2008 (Serial Number INB[protected] Model Nunbmer 9855) from Maliakal Electronics, Kollam and we had registered a complaint 12 days back for non functiioning of the said washing machine and your sincere technician came and inspect and said that there is a problem of some main board or boared and he said that he will come again and replace the same within two days. Unfortunately until now nobody come from the service center and we were informed to M/s Maliakkal customer service representative. But still now we did,nt get any outcome of our comlaint from Whirlpool Center as well as M/s Maliakal represetative.

        Therefore, I humble request your service team to look into this serious matter and expecting your favourable and immediate action.

        Your immediate action will be highly solicited.

        whirlpool white magic washing machine — poor service rendered

        washing machine board was changed 5 months ago paying 3400 for parts and services, 1 week back 2040 was paid for censor replacement and service but now the board is again not working and the cc says if you have the bill you have a replacement no bill no service, but i have the complaint no. 29994 and customer satisfaction code 240 which the cc says there is no record. point 1 customer care is not maintaining records systematically....2. ls something wrong with the spares or the agencies you deal with. spending about 5000 within a period of 6 months and having a machine which is not working , would the concern person please look into this problem and solve it. machine no.INBO73809514... white magic F65 steel.
        having no bill is one issue but if customer care service can wash of the hands so easily it is not supporting the consumer in any way...and when you pay an AMC you are safe and no AMS any time you call you are looted.

          I had bought the whirlpool 20L grill microwave oven on 10 oct 2009 from Total mall, bangalore. In the scratch card, i won another 20L solo microwave oven. Even after 25 days, free gift has not been delivered. Total mall manager, Mr. Manjunath informed that Whirlpool distributor does not have the stock of 20L solo model. Please resolve this issue immediately oterwise i am going to register a complain in consumer forum against the whirlpool and inform to media people as well.

          Whirlpool Microwave Oven — poor quality of product and services

          I was having a microwave whirpool company since last two years which got out of order in March 2008 and the same was repaired by changinga part " Transformer" on 18.3.2008. The same microwave has gone again out of order in June 2008 and the part/panel has been collectedby their engineer on 10.6.2008 again on 18.7.2008 after great persuation on telephone with customer care of the company, engineer and highest possible authority for services, but with no results. Yesterday one engineer namely Kamaljeet came to my residnece and asked to changed the panel with a cost of Rs.3206/- . I had already incurred in the month of March when the transformer was replaced paid Rs. 600/- cost and service charges Rs. 395/-. Now again the company demands Rs.395/- for service charges and cost of panel to be changed Rs. 3206/- when there is no service prov ided by the company and the machine / electronic item got out of order within a period of 3 months ofearlier repaird.
          When asked some Mr.Rakesh, Incharge of the Office at Faridabad, He bluntly told that service charges you have to give to the company, if you need to call the engineer. But my plea is that when there is no service, why I should ;pay the service charges. In this context the following issues are to subjit for the consideration :
          1. When there is no service why service chaqrges
          2. A machine/electronic was repaired why I should pay again within a ;periodof three months
          3. Company has never respondedto the complaint and for that I have to make more than 80 calls
          is there not any responsibility of the corporate to pay post sale services
          4. Changing parts again and again in a microwave sees the quality of the product thesame shouldbe
          restricted to the public for cheating .
          5. Mr. Rakesh when askekd to deliver aletter with the faulty part at the residence, delivering the same he asked money in shape of service charges, when there is no service by the company.

          The case is put up for the early confirmation and resulation.

          Whirlpool Microwave Oven — Faulty performance

          I bought a combination microwave oven, model VT256 in October-2008. Though the oven functions in all modes, a problem was noticed while cooking food with water content. During operation in cooking mode, water vapor gets trapped inside the door cavity( between inner and outer layers of the door) & nothing could be seen through the door, till the cooking is over & the oven is allowed to rest for about 20-25 minutes to escape the vapor & water droplets accumulate on the door gasket.
          Service technicians visited the oven on two occasions and certified that vapor accumulation is a normal phenomenon with Whirlpool micro wave ovens.
          A visit by qualified service engineer was requested for but of no avail.
          What a funny & silly logic. Why don't the company mention this phenomenon in the manual?

          Whirlpool Microwave oven — non response to complain

          the machine was purchased on march07.on last week of june09, the machine went out of order.on placing
          a complain, the service engineer received the service charge worth Rs395.00 and promised that the complain would be looked into.however, till date, no action has been taken.the head office was called up on several occasion, but every time they came up with th false promise that the matter would be looked into in 1-2 days.

          i therefore request your goodself to guide me to obtain some sort of redrssal from the high handed attitude of the company.

          As per the protocol or shopping procedure i have payed the full amount of Rs. 4990 to the representative from the courier service on the last Thursday, but still i have not got any response from the HomeShop18 side whether they have got the payment or not and delivery of the ordered good/product. This is a big gap of communication from the company side against the satisfaction of the costumer. I want to hear something from your side as soon as possible.

          Whirlpool 20L microwave — Non-delivery

          I had booked Whirlpool 20L Microwave on 7th October 2010 and it's more than 20 working days that the above product along with the complimentary
          gifts has not been delivered.
          I have called customer care no[protected] number of times ,they replied
          that the product has been handed over to the courier agency and you will receive your order in a three to five working days at times they are replied
          that since the product is out of stock ,so there is a delay in the delivery,these are two contradictory remarks.I am asking customer care to forward my call
          to their senior Mr Manoj ,but they are not doing it .It' really shameful on the part of Homeshop18 as their seniors are not able to face my comments.
          Since I had to present this product as a gift to my newly married cousin on the eve of Deepawali.
          I am really annoyed with this delay in delivery and total negligence .

          Whirlpool Microwave Oven — poor service & wrong commitment

          I've purchased a microwave oven from one of the dealer of WHIRLPOOL,He commit me to give demo for using the same & gave request for same on 14 march.

          After one day i got a message from Whirlpool for acknowledging the same.

          After three days when nobody is at my place to give demo then i again called up to customer care center of whirlpool who commit me to provide one of their engineer next morning,bur again no body is there for 3- 4 days.

          I again & again called at customer care & they always commit to send some one but no onewas there,this process is going on for 45 days.After so many follow up on 21/04/2011 i got message that my call has been closed.Its totally surprising for me then i called again at customer care then they said that my complaint has been esclated to their senior manager,& he gave me his contact no which was not reachable all the times.

          On 22/04/2011 i again got a message that my call has been assigned to Mr Deepak kumar who will assist us but insted of that after 2 min. i again got a message that my call has been closed.

          The whole incident is so surprising,that how can it be happen with the services of the company,i again called to customer care where Mr kuldeep commit me to answer within 15 min. with resolution. but i'm waiting for last 24 hours ,& nobody called up from Whirlpool.

          Is this the service of WHIRLPOOL.

          I want compensation for the same for harrasment,time wasting & wrong commitment to the customer.

            Refrigerator purchased from Whirlpool Company, direct delivery from Ranjangaon, 4 years back. It has a warranty of 7 years. While the fridge was delivered, we insisted for a stabiliser but the company people (not the dealer) told us very confidently that it does not require a stablizer. We confirmed it again with the company and they said not required. The fridge had a problem of cooling in 2nd year. We called the Whirlpool people. On the phone, while listening to my complaint he asked me 1st question - Is a stabilizer attached to the fridge, i said no, he said this is the only reason for the problem. When the engineer came to check the fridge he brought with him a new stabilizer. He then repaired the fridge and attached the stabilizer. We paid for the Gas and Service Charge, compressor was changed under warranty. After 2 days again it stopped working, again call the customer care, wait for 4-5 days, then again repairs. It used to work for few days and stop working. This went for 5 to 6 times. This went for 2 months. We were tired of this. Today's position is, the stabilizer is attached but still the fridge has stopped working - no cooling. All the food and other material inside the fridge got spoilt and had to be thrown. We called the Customer Care again, gave the Complaint on 27th Oct 2009, their engineer came after 3 days, did a check-up in 5 minutes, took Rs.285/- from us and said : Gas has gone (5th time). He told us that their mechanic will come the next day. Today is 5th Nov 2009, after several calls we are still waiting for the mechanic to come. In a developed city like Pune, if Whirlpool has this type of Customer Service, 13 days, still waiting, then at other places ?? God Knows ?? Is it that, due to bad Whirlpool products the mechanics are very busy and don't have time for all the customers ?? Such a big inconvenience. Horrible experience overall. Please help. This (above) is a short description.

            I bought a Whirlpool Refrigirator 3 years ago. The very first day of the installation, the engineer warned us not use the Door Handle to open door as there is a possibility of it breaking!!! In about 6 months, the Handle Broke!! So it was a known problem.

            Then one by one all internal storage components started falling apart.

            Now, it is dripping water from the Freezer down on to the other compartments.

            One of the worst engineered products I have seen.

              My worst experience of my life is that I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator. Since beginning I am facing complaint from the Service Side, which can be verified from your record also. Recently due to some technical problem my refrigerator stopped Cooling and I prefer to call engineer from Company itself and lodge my complaint on October 19, 2009 and on inspection by the engineer, I was told that the Compressor needs to be replaced. Although It was under warranty even then I was forced to pay Rs.1700(approx.) along with that I have to pay around Rs.1500 for replacing the stablizer, whereas my old stabliser was working perfectly and the service engineer insisted me for buying with a threat that otherwise again some problem may emerge. I agree to that suggestion and paid the price. After 10 days of this repair, my refrigerator again developed the same problem as it was 10 days earlier i.e. Cooling was not there, I again lodged the Complaint and the service engineer visited and adviced us to buy a trolley of Rs.1400/- from him which we refused then he said the timer of the machine is not working and he has to replace it. Now, the question arise when the problem in the machine is same whether earlier also the timer was faulty and if yes why my compressor was changed. When we raised this question then he asked us to buy the trolley from him and then he will not charge anything from us for the timer part. On our refusal he initially asked us Rs.480 for the timer and then he asked us to pay only Rs.420 as he told us that he is passing the 10% discount. Now, my question is that your Co. is an mnc and supposed to be professionally managed co. or everything is based on the wishes of the service engineers. I request your goodself to look into my complaint seriously and make the requiste refund, otherwise I shall be forced to approach the Consumer Court and shall take appropriate action as per the law of the land.

              Cheating by the servicing agents of M/S Wirlpool Refrigirators

              With in the pewriod, on 12-10-09, on service engineer checked my refrigirator
              and informed that the compressure has failed and will be replaced free of cost.

              Then thay told it will take another 10 days to get new compressure.
              fater 10 days one engineer came and he simply refilled the gas in the failed compressure
              and informed that the compressure will be replaced, if the gas exhausting with in 2 months.
              But with in one mon the gas exhausted and compressure stopped.

              Then I approahed M/S Worpool. They gave above complaint number. but the service engineer who contacted me told that new service charge we have to pay him to check. Alas !!! For the mistake made by the service engineer who failed to replace the compressure, why the case processed as new one though the AMC period has expired as on date.

              M/S Wirlpool is an reputed company. Still I believe, it will sort out the problem and direct their agents
              to replace the compressure free of cost.

                Dear Sir,



                The aforesaid fridge was purchased by us on 29.4.06 from a dealer in Noida at an appx cost of Rs 36,000/-.



                To our surprise, the compressor got konked off within one year and was replaced by your service centre on 1.8.07.



                Then again in June 2009, the compressor gas leaked and the gas filled in by your service agents and charged us Rs1850/-. Surprisingly it again leaked at the same spot now ( a little more than 3 months) and your service agents are asking for Rs 1850 again for filling the leaked gas due to the negligence of your servive agents when they had filed the gas in June 2009 as they did not plug the leakege spot properly leading to further leakage within a span for a little more than 3 months. when asked why they are charging again, your service agents at NOIDA are saying that the gaurantee is for 3 months only and after expiry of 3 months it is on chargeable basis.

                we are really perturbed at the fleecing o[censored]s by your service agents for the entire fault of them and no fault o[censored]s. It is very strange that such a costly fridge of a reputed fridge manufacturer had to undergo repairs of comnpresoor ans gas leakage so frequently. It badly refelcts on the qaulity of the worman ship of a reputed fridge manufacturer like whirl pool. we had earlier BPL/ Kelvinator fridge which never leaked even after 10 years of teh date of purchase and have been functioning very efficiently.



                This costly fridge of whirlpool has been giving problems from the date of purchase, the compressor got konked off immediately and gas leaked trwice within a span of 3 yeras.



                Can u please look into the matter ans ask your service department in NOIDA to fill up the gas and plug the leak properly without any charges as it was done only on 21.6. 2009 and the gas leaked again in a span of little over 3 months.

                  i purchased the above mentioned product in april 2009 but misplaced its tap adapter soon. your service centre refused brazenly to supply this part. he refuses to accept any written complaint whether by personal delivery or by registered post, attempts sweet talking behind which he hides his inept inefficiency and dramatises his response to make it appear genuine concern. a bigger deal is whirlpool company by itself takes pleasure in keeping such like service providers on their pay roll.he even quarrels with me that it is not his duty to supply parts but to repair faults alone.till now he has wasted my 5 months for this petty thing.

                    Hello,

                    We have bought Top loading , fully automatic Whirlpool washing machine. From last few months, it wobbles while rinsing starts and stops. We have to hold the machine tightly till it finishes the action so that it won't fell from the stand.

                    We laudged complaint for this in the month of Sept. Complaint number is : PN[protected]. Nothing happened after that for 15 days or so . When we called , the call center support representative told us that the complaint is closed.

                    No idea, how did this happen!!!

                    We again laudged another complaint on 3 rd Oct.09 - No. is : PN[protected]. Finally after 4-5 calls to support representative / call center executive , finally they sent a junior guy who was so arrogant that he started quarrelling with us as soon as he just saw machine. He was told the PCB is dead. We even don't know what a PCB means ( being an Engineer, i thought it is the a electronic circuit board , but I was wrong : Its the display on machine ) ... So, his point was : we complained as the PCB is dead. he stated arguing with us and pointing out fingers at me. What a representative sent by Whirlpool ...

                    He was miscommunicated by call center rep or he mistakenly mixed 2 different customers' problems. We don't know ... But he was so arrogant , he left home saying will come again to fix this problem.

                    Till date neither he has come, nor support guys have replied . Now, this complaint again is closed on their own. We came to know again after when we tried to reach support people. They assured us , they will send some one senior from the team.

                    I don't know what CRM software do they use which closes the complaints automatically without resolving problems and how they use / misuse their internal communications!

                    I don't expect such a service from such a renowned brand like Whirlpool. Instead of paying Lakhs of Rs to the brand ambassador for marketing and sales , i request whirlpool team to take care of their existing customers first and resolve issues. It definitely adds value to your existing customers + new customers acquisition.

                    Its almost more than 2 months from the date of laudging first complaint. We have not seen any positive ( ? ) response other than call center executive saying, please laudge the complaint for just one more time... For how many days should we expect same reply and no resolution of the problem!!!!

                    I purchased Whirlpool Tiwm white magic 123 650p washing machine on 9th October; there was noise in the machine and the front panel stickers were coming out. Lodged a complaint on 13th October. But extremely sorry to say till date none have given us any service. I purchased the same from Reliance Digital outlet.

                    Subsequently some one comes and says that the person who installed did not do it properly. We have again problem within a week and we lodged another complaint - complaint number 17830. This time the service engineer said that the machine is a faulty machine and they would give us a new machince replacement within a week (i.e. by November 11, 2009) The executive who spoke on the same is Named Sekhar his mobile number is [protected] from kukatpally branch.

                    Till date no response nor action. Every time we call either their mobile is switched off or out of calling area. Reliance Digital also does not have any staff who can take decision on this. All dummies without proper sense of service or ethics sit there. They do not even give us proper response even if we go physically.

                      We own a Whirlpool washing machine Model AGI SS50 which has been sparingly used.
                      When we used the machine on[protected] we noticed some sparks and tickling sound when the machine was spinning.
                      On[protected] we called the call centre of whirlpool and lodged a complaint (complaint no: 3570)
                      On[protected] the technician visited and after checking the machine he informed us that there was nothing wrong with it, just some lose wires causing sparks which he repaired.
                      He tested the machine in washing mode and the problem seemed to be resolved, so he collected his service charge and left, but later when used the machine in spinning mode the same problem started again.
                      On[protected] we lodged another complaint (complaint no: 7853)
                      On[protected] we again received a visit from another technician from whirlpool service by the name Sebastian, who after checking the machine informed us that the motor has to be changed. He assured us that once we change the motor the problem could be set right.
                      So on[protected] Sebastian changed the motor and tested washing machine without clothes or waters but the tickling sound was still present.
                      Charge for the change of motor Rs 2400
                      He told us that this was probably due to a coin lodged in the drum for which he has remove the drum and extract the coin as he didn’t have the suitable tools with him on that day
                      So he visited again the next day and tried to remove the drum which he was unable to do so ,at this point he told us that may be problem was with the bearing. He said that he is unable to solve this issue and another technician is going to visit and fix it.
                      But he assured us that it was a minor problem and we may continue to wash clothes in it. So when we tried to wash clothes in the machine, the water flow didn’t stop even after filling the drum and at this point the controls on the board stopped responding so now we had a machine filled with water and clothes which was as good as dead. This left us struggling with the problem of extracting the water from the machine because as promised by Sebastian no technician visited us again.
                      On[protected] we again lodged a complaint (complaint no: 13305)
                      On[protected] another technician came and after checking informed us that the PC board had been damaged and has to be changed which would cost Rs 4000.
                      On[protected] a 4th complaint was lodged (complaint no: 18054)
                      So now on[protected] after nearly a month from which the minor problem had arrived and 4 complaints and RS 2680 and hundreds of calls later we have a machine which has totally stopped working and still there seems to be no solution.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,
                        I have a whirlpool whitemagic fully automatic washingmachine which is 5 years old having a problem for last one month.
                        I have been calling up the call center for registering the complaint for a odd noise in the washing machine and twice the service person came and sold me a powder telling me that because of scaling there is noise in the washing machine. I did try the powder a week later the agitator of the machine has stopped functioning. Last 3 days I have been calling the call center and no one has rectified the problem. Inspite of having an annual maintainance contract with them, they have not come to repair the machine. I request suitable justice be done in this regard as it seems whirlpool is making money in the name of AMC (annual maintainance contract) instead of giving good service.

                          I bought whirlpoool refrigerator 170 Ltr. Model No 2990 from Sikar , Rajasthan ,it's still in extended warranty period prog. ( 7 Years protection plan ) .right now I am in Jaipur and I face a problem thatin my fridge there is no cooling and ice is not prepared due to lack of cooling .

                          I made a complain on whirlpool customer care no - 6000855 on dated 9 Oct. 09 . Their engineer do not came till time nor they call then I again lodged a complain on customer care on dated 14 Oct 09 and after follow up them 11-12 day's , it's our job to keep on reminding them .

                          Meanwhile I contacted agarwal refrigration ( local service centre ) they saying that the gas filed in your fridge model is not available and you go to the Jaipur whirlpool office and take a approwal for subsitute gas filling , Than I contacted them and take a approval to them . There is no inter deptt. liasioning .

                          On 22 Oct. 09 , Engineer come from Jaipur service centre Agarwal refrigration and they changed our fridge compresor and refill the gas than very next day I again loged a call that my fridge is still not working properly and cooling not there in the fridge .

                          I made 4-5 calls per day to their customer care , local service centre and also contacted to their local office , i'm making complain call to the customer care everytime they assure me that today an engineer will come but no one is coming. It's so diffuclt managing without fridge. Their response is really bad.

                          Today is 29 Oct 09 but still I am waiting for proper solution and I have no option other than calling again n again to their numbers to recd. proper solution and service .

                          I think whirlpool after sale service is pathetic .

                          Whirlpool — Pathetic After Sales Service

                          I am Amit Suman and a loyal customer of Whirlpool brand, but what I have acknowledged, is that you guys are providing very pathetic after sale service even after taking the AMC facility. Never believed whirlpool will turn up like a disaster. I have almost called up 10-15 times but your service center is of no help. Every time they come up with a new story and an excuse. I even took an off from my office to wait for the engineer as confirmed by them, but he never turned up. I am a working man, and cant sit at home, waiting for the engineer for 15 days. Could you please let me know, if we cant avail the after sale service as promised by you while selling the product, whats the use of buying a product which claims to be a market leader. If this will be your attitude towards your loyal customers, you will be also considered as one of the cheaters. My 3 home appliances are of your brand, but sorry to say that after experiencing you after sale service, I wont prefer buying this product and also would advice my friends and relatives not to go for this brand at all. I hope, my problem will be resolved after this complaint.

                            We purchased H65 whirlpool washing machine on 13th July 2008. Since then we have been put through inconvenience because of the improper functioning of the product.

                            Inspite of repeated complaints and requests for replacement of the piece the customer care department keeps sending engineers who behave more like sales representatives trying to sell us accessories rather than attending to our commplaints.

                            We have requested that we get a replacement (a new properly working piece of the same model) at the earliest.

                            Were they able to fix u r problem. I have also been suffering with whirlpool product since 2 yrs.

                            I bought the 2 door refrigerator in Nov 2007 and have been facing lot of issues with it.
                            The refrigerator many times stops on its own (the light glows, but no cooling).After being in this condition (till everything inside gets messed up) suddenly it starts working again. I have changed the gas, compressor etc etc and still the problem exists.

                            The service engineer is not able to solve the problem and on every visit asks to replace some part of other.

                            Let me know i[censored] also had similar problem ..

                            At last Whirlpool is a JUNK company selling JUNK products.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              1) I had purchased the microwave oven of whirlpool on 3rd oct 09 but it was not functioning and had problem.Service engineer inspected the oven one week later after daily followup with Whirlpool, pune office.The service engineer said the piece is faulty and needs to be replaced so he took the invoice copy from me and had send to customer care of pune for replacement.
                              2) After continuous followup with them they said in day or two new microwave will be delivered as confirmed by Mr.Pradeep[protected].But my invoice was misplaced by Mr.Sarika[protected] and because of that my new product was not getting delivered.After sending the new invoice copy they assured to deliver the product on 17th Oct 09 which they did not and delivered the product on 27th Oct 09.

                              3) This product also was not tested and checked before delivering to me, and again it was faulty and not functioning at all.

                              4)The service engineer came on 28th Oct 09 to inspect & suggested that this product needs to be replaced as it is a manufacturing defect.

                              5) I contacted the pune customer care[protected] on 29thOct 09 to look into the matter & replace the product but no confirmation till now even after giving them the reminder early morning for my product.

                              Whirlpool — Faulty washing machine delivered

                              I have purchased a Whirlpool washing machine from for Rs.15,0000/- Total Mall dated 03/07/2010 and got delivered by 06/07/2010 and the delay was due to out of stock. During the first wash itself we have noticed that its leaking and the leakage was due to water overflowing out of the drum. Sensor is not working and water over flows when selected v.hight. I have tested without putting any cloth and still its overflows. I have complained about the same to Total on 07/07/2010 for relacemnt and they have raised a complaint with whirlpool dated 09/07/2010. Whirlpool engineer visited my house and collected required documents and copies of bill and confirmed they will replace it in 5 days. Till now nothing happened. Yesterday when I checked Whirlpool they are telling comlaint has been closed as its not approved for replacement. Total is also not ready for a direct replacemnt and putting all blames to Whirlpool.I have again contacted Whirlpool customer care and logged a complaint with SR#[protected]. Whirlpool branch executives are not ready to attend the phoneand trying to escape, showing no responsibility. I dont know how to resolve this, need to go to court if still they are not replacing. Understand for a brand new faulty product if the are fail to replace and resolve the issue,what else we can expect from them or how we can make them understand what is mean by customer service!!!!

                              Whirlpool — FAULTY MACHINE DELIVERED HAVING MANUFACTURING DEFECT

                              I Purchased a Whirlpool washing machine(ABM 551-Invoice No 8865) on 10.09.2011 (Fully Automatic, Front Loading) from Croma Retail Store,RCity Mall (Ghatkopar west). The Product was delivered on 11.09.2011 by chorma officail i am very surprised that the product was delivered to me without company official cartain. The Product is wrapped by local plastic cover, we compalianed about it in the customer care but no redressel was implemented at till.

                              The representative from the company came for demonstration of the Product after several reminders from our side by Phone. At First representative sent by the Company on 14.09.2011, is completely unaware of the product himself. The Second representative came on 19.09.2011 and While demostration of Machine. He observed a number of problems in the machine due to which he could not start it. The whirlpool official said machine has major manufacturing defect & it is not in condition for to work.

                              We complaint the same to Chroma Office on Toll Free No. [protected] on19.09.2011 & got the complaint number . The Chroma offical has not given any response of my problem after registring complain they do not provide me Ghatkopar West Store Number due to which i am unable to do anything. There behaviour is not appreciable. They assure on phone that a representative revert our call within half hour, but after more than four hour i did not get any call/response from Chroma. This type of attitude regarding consumer complaint is not up to mark & unprofessional.

                              I request CHROMA OFFICIAL to provide me a new machine in working condition that my trust for Chroma may continue.

                                I bought a Whirlpool AC in April 2009. The AC delivered to me was damaged (the Swing was broken). Whirlpool's local office in Kolkata told me they would replace the Swing.

                                After a couple of weeks, they told me they would be unable to replace the swing, so they would replace the entire indoor unit. I was asked to deposit my payment receipt at their office in Shantiniketan Building in Kolkata. I did & then I was told that someone from the godown will be in touch with me regarding the issue.

                                Someone called Prabhas[protected] from their Kolkata godown called me a couple of times, always giving a commitment for the date of replacing the indoor unit. But it has been 7 months since I complained & my indoor unit hasn't been replaced yet. Neither have they replaced the swing.

                                I have made multiple calls to their central Customer Care helpline no. as well - everytime I'm told that someone senior will get in touch with me & my problem will be solved. But it's been 7 months & my AC is yet to be fixed. The person in Kolkata who I had submitted my papers to is Amit Ghosh[protected].

                                  This is the third time witin a span of two years i am faciong problem with my washung machine.More than that is that customer care service is so poor that even after 05-06 days no response was given for complaints.This time the case is same , i have lodged a complain four days back and my reference no. is IN[protected] , but till now no response of the said complain is given from company side.This sort of lethargic service from a company having goodwill is very sad.It is requested to kindly take some action for better service to customer.

                                  I have purches washing machine 17 o7 2010.after 3months dryer was not working.recently my washing leakeage of water, then i call customer care but customer care not reacived my call.all time hold my call in the line.

                                    I PURCHASED WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE, FULLY AUTOMATIC 650h.ON 30TH SEPTEMBER,09. ITS NOT WORKING SINCE PURCHASED,,, AND AFTER MANY COMPLAINTS THE COMPANY 1ST REPORTED THAT THE CONDENSER WAS FAULTY. AND ON NEXT COMPLAIN IT WAS FOUND THAT THE MOTOR DID NOT WORK. THERE ARE MANY OTHER TECHNICAL PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT.WE REQUESTED TO REPLACE THE PRODUCT. BUT THE COMPANY IS NOT RESPONDING & ON THE NATIONAL CALL CENTER SERVICE OF WHIRLPOOL IT SHOWS THAT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED AND CONSUMER IS SATISFIED WHICH IS COMPLETELY NOT TRUE AND FRAUD WITH THE CONSUMER.STRICT ACTION NEED TO BE TAKEN FOR SUCH COMPANIES.

                                      We were allotted in June 2009 a Split A/c by Bharat Petroleum Petro bonus card membership vide
                                      Voucher No: RBR/PRB9/16/5889
                                      Item Code : 9362 (A/c Split Whirlpool 1.5 T Regal)
                                      Company : Whirlpool India , Hyderabad.

                                      After numerous calls and complaints and lots of excuses from Mr Shridhar (Whirlpool, Mob- [protected] ) and Mr Shyam Prasad (Bharat Petroleum, Mob:[protected]) we finally were delivered another A/c on 22/09/2009 vide
                                      Invoice No: [protected]
                                      Delivery No: [protected]
                                      Item : 1.5 Ton Split Classic (WASR18B18DO), saying that the Air conditioner allotted to us is not available in stock.

                                      When we installed the same in our house by our electrician we came to know that the A/c is damaged, there are some parts missing and the A/c cannot function without them.

                                      we complaint the same to Whirlpool Customer care No: [protected] on 05/10/2009 vide Complaint No: HD[protected]

                                      When the executive inspected the A/c he informs us that as it has not been installed by Whirlpool it cannot be covered in warranty and if it has to be repaired to be made functional then we have to pay Rs: 3000/- for the parts + labor charges.

                                      We really do not understand this policy and we feel cheated.
