I ordered for smoothie maker on 25-january-2012, my order number is:-ord1056801,invoice:-[protected],dated:1/25/2012. The product was working fine until yesterday, when I switched it on it started emitting smoke and burning smell. I immediately turned it off. Today also the same thing happened. On calling customer care service they told me that I must had used the machine continuously more than 10 seconds (that customer care lady was some sort of magician she magically assumed that), Hence warranty (six months warranty) voids. She estimated Rs. 1200/- for repairs + courier charges Rs.430 approx. per side, which comes to around 2000/- for the product which she claimed that had been continuously ran for 10 seconds and which is still under warranty. I want to ask www.televantage.in that being a multinational company and selling claimed multinational products, how come doing such customer unfriendliness acts. So I don’t mind wasting 4200/- rupees on the product which I used sparingly for less than 3 months. But I don’t want to waste another 2000/- Rs on it. But for sure the company has hired me as a freelancer anti publicity employee for daily 30 minutes for the next 365 days at no cost. Was this information helpful? |
