[Resolved]  Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering — requisition of original documents being denied

I am a student of Dayanada Sagar College of Engineering Kumaraswamy Layout, Bangalore. I recently finished my 1st year but I wished to cancel my admission after my first year at the college in order to seek admission in a different college.

The reason I want to cancel my admission is because the admission was on management quota and it is getting difficult to pay a sum of 2 lacs per year to the college. Besides for the fees i am paying i am barely getting any facilities. Some examples are:
-The class rooms allotted to the department don't even have ceiling fans
-The the computers provided in the labs are seriously outdated. So much that they don't even belong to this decade.
-At least half the faculty members in the department find it difficult to answer our queries in English.
-The placements offered to the department are the bare minimum for what the college promised.
All this after paying a fee of 2 lacs per year.

The college refuses to return my original documents and asks me to pay the fees of the enter course duration if i want them back irrespective of whether i want to cancel my admission or not. When i asked why do i need to pay for the years i am not studying the reply is "Why did you take admission here?". The teachers are understanding but can not provide any help since the management is involved. When talking the management the more poliet you try to be the ruder they get.

I need urgent help because despite getting a pretty good ranking for the Karnataka PGCET i am unable to apply for admission anywhere else and the time frame for admissions is running out.

I have attached an application letter i had submitted to the college to in response to which I was allowed to take only my 10th mark sheet which is not enough
