[Resolved]  Delhi Jal Board — Receipt of large bill indicating past arrears (Connection No.[protected])

Subject: Water Bill for connection No. [protected] Dear Sir, A bill of Rs 360/- was paid on 05.02.2014 for the above connection. Thereafter, we received a large bill dated 05.May.2014 for Rs 23464/-, which showed an arrear of Rs 16609/- and a current bill of Rs 6023/- for a consumption of 155 KL. We are surprised to suddenly receive such a large bill with arrears, especially when all the previous bills have been paid. You are kindly requested to check into the above matter and clarify the reason for sending in such large arrears, when previous bills have paid.
