Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is to notify that I was advised by Dr Chhanda Ghosh to undergo a cataract operation on my left eye. The surgery was performed by Dr Ghosh on 03/10/2019.The first lens was replaced with a second lens on 11 /10/2019 by her .There was no improvement in the vision, rather I would say that the vision of my left eye was almost NIL .The second procedure(lens replacement by oil) was performed on 08/11/2019 by Dr Ashar Agarwal. There was no improvement after that. After the said procedure, DR Parthan was my consultant in your hospital and was prescribing medicines to me regularly. After a couple of months of regular consultation, DR Pathan suggested me to see Dr Sujit Gharai to continue my treatment under your hospital. I blindly enrolled my name under Dr Sujit Gharai for further treatment. After regular checkups, there was no sign of improvement . The Oil extraction procedure (supposed to be the 3rd performance) was getting delayed and delayed, I forcibly consulted a different hospital for further treatment, where he oil was extracted and replaced with a lens.
I express my grievances against the treatment procedure undertaken by your hospital in the said period. I am a senior citizen with limited income, went for consultation to your hospital and was under your Doctors supervision with the hope of getting a clear vision as the initial surgery was a simple cataract operation. I had spent a lot of money, time and energy on your hospital, the outcome is, limited vision of my left eye, which is disheartening and dissatisfactory. I am still under treatment, spending money,
I request the administrative authorities to look into my case, possibly give me a solution and justification which might look satisfactory at my end.
