A cab was booked with easy cabs today morning (3rd Aug' 14) from Dwarka, New Delhi to Airport. The pickup timings were 12.30 Hrs. I received an sms confirming the booking at 10.07 am. At the time of booking, i was informed that the cab will reach 15 min before the scheduled pickup time (ie. 12.15 pm). i received an sms confirming chuaffer details at 11.46 am (booking id A[protected], car no. DL 1R-7189, Chauffer no. [protected]). I received call from this this no. at 12.19 pm for confirming my address and the person on call stated that he is at sector 12, dwarka trying to find my address.
Special mention of the fact is that, by 12.15 pm the cab must have reached my pickup address as per communicated to me by cab company at the time of booking. As well, sector 12, Dwarka is 5 min drive from mentioned pick address.
Finally, i kept waiting and followed on above mentioned no. 12.26 pm and 12.44 pm but the cab did'nt reach at pickup location. I tried reaching customer care dept. of easy cabs at 12.55 pm but once again could not receive any help.
The situation was horrible and i had almost lost my flight by that time. I had to run on the road with my luggage and somehow managed to hire an auto to reach airport. Coordinated with airline for adjusting my delay in arrival.
Due to above mentioned harassment, i had to leave important luggage at pickup address. I am at huge loss because of this service lapse from this cab company. This entire episode reflects poorly on the tall claims that this cab company advertises everywhere. I am harassed up to my core and want strict action against the cab company on non-delivery of services. Was this information helpful? |
