I am complaining for elica chimney repairing services .

Not happy with the elica service dealers. They have taken 1050 for cleaning and service. Problem has turned to safety issue now . We are scared to use this elica hob. I am requesting them since 3 days but they are just bufflfing that we will come Today. That today never came.
We installed our Elica Chimney recently. They charged 500/- as installation charges, which is as per the charges mentioned in Elica Website: http://www.elicaindia.com/charges.aspx
However they were asking for 180/- per feet for 7 feet of Aluminium flexible duct plus additional 250/- for the other hardware, thus making a total bill of more than 2, 000/-
But Elica website (above URL) mentions that the whole installation kit's MRP is only 7, 99/-, thus my total bill should have been only 1, 299/-. When I showed the charges mentioned on Elica website, the technicians did not agree, then I talked to their manager who after giving a lot of logic agreed to charge only the installation kit price (799/-) and installation charge of 500/-, total 1, 299/-.
Thus their attempt to dupe more than 700/- from me was foiled!
Actually the technicians are not from Elica company. Elica has sub-contracted the installation and service jobs to third party vendors. And these vendors actually are unscrupulous and try to charge extra from gullible customers.
When Elica ha published all their charges clearly on their website, they must see to it that their sub-contractors and vendors charge customers as per the official rates and not otherwise! Otherwise Elica's brand image is bound to be damaged. The feeling of being cheated is really bad.
Even though I did not given them any extra money, I had to waste some time in convincing them about the official charges, which has made me unhappy and so I am not going to recommend this brand to my friend, at least not without a word of caution!
