I purchased an Elica cooktop last year and have been highly disappointed in the product, your service and the way my complaint has been handled so far.
1. I purchased the Flexi cook top 4 burner in early 2017 and started facing inadequate flame issues in 6 months
2. I called for a technical engineer, he visited and corrected the flame for adequate cooking, but after few months again the burners' flame went low and it also started making gurgle noises while it is turned on.
3. I again call technical support, to which a representative visits and asks me for Rs 2500 saying the burner is damaged (he said the technician who visited earlier increased the flame but that caused your burner to damage)
4. I escalate this to the service supervisor (someone called Mr. Pandey) visits my home and he now demands Rs. 5000 (instead of earlier 2500) for complete solution (Saying the burner plate is also damaged and needs replacement)
5. I once again call the technical support and they ask me to contact Mr Malik for solution and he suggested to buy a new cooktop.
Really? Is that how the customer should be suggested - buy a new product in less than 2 years. What kind of product is Elica team building out here in India?
I am now writing on this forum hoping to get to a solution.
