I have booked a ticket for my daughter ISHITA MALLIK through Etihad Airways Customer care vide PNR ZOJUMG from India to Toronto YYZ for 19th April 2021. I booked the ticket through Etihad customer care directly and paid Rs.58, 639/- through ICICI bank transfer. Unfortunately the flight got cancelled for travel ban due to Covid pandemic situation and I initiated a refund on 11th April 2021 through Etihad customer care. They asked me to wait for 7 to 45 working days for the refund. After that time period when I contacted them in June’21 they said I have to wait for another 7-10 days. Every time I call them they made false commitment by saying the same thing like wait for 7 days. On July 11, 2021 I got to know from their customer care that they have mistaken the Account holders name as ISHITA MALLIK instead of CHANDRIMA MALLIK. I was told that they have rectified the name and refund initiated again on 11th July and I have to wait at least another 30 days for refund. Today is 14th September and till date neither I have received the money nor any communication from Etihad Airways. Was this information helpful? |
The ticket can be for infant who is accompanied by the adult, for the child, for the adult.
There is no visible ticket for [censored]A MALLIK and the notice of the cancellation attached.
So, the there is nobody's obligation to pay unidentified sum to unidentified account of the anonymous person.
