I had my GRE slot on 14th June 2022 at 5:50 PM. I took the free mock test at around 4:40 to cross-check finally whether everything working fine on my laptop. The mock test worked fine. So, I logged in at the correct time, and the proctor came in and verified everything (including the laptop with remote access). I did exactly whatever the proctor told me to do. The proctor then confirmed everything was good and I can proceed ahead. The proctor opened the ETS Secure Test Browser and entered fields like id, etc. Then before the exam launched (on the launch screen), there was a technical glitch saying the browser cannot be opened. Proctor did not even have any idea and said it was a technical glitch from the ETS end and asked me to report it to the ETS. Thus, I could not even enter the exam.
ProctorU live support said that when ETS mails them, then ProctorU will assist by providing the recording, etc. I reported the issue to ETS. But I did not get any response. And the live support is pathetic. One says to mail test scores department. The main issue is that I did not even get to take the exam in the first place. Was this information helpful? |
