Franch Express Courier — Non responsive

Greetings to you.

Vide POD number [protected] of Franch Express Couriers dated 14/07/2021, a Consignment of food items was booked to self at Chennai from Eluru which arrived in Chennai on 16/07/2021 as per the Courier Company website and the lady manning the helpdesk at customer care on[protected]. As the consignment was food items and perishable I requested the lady to kindly get it delivered to me urgently ASAP and the lady agreed and registered a complaint vide Id APVJW01059 and sent me a sms to that effect. Later in the evening there was some lady calling me from Customer care that the consignment did not arrive in Chennai on 16/07/2021 but arrived on 17/07/2021 and that their website wrongly shows the date as 16/07/2021and hence cannot be attempted to be delivered till Monday (19/07). I told her I have a screenshot of their website showing it reached Chennai on 16/07/2021 and also their agent at Eluru Confirming the same. I requested her not to waste time and kindly deliver the goods immediately as they are perishables and I have spent considerable amount on them plus courier charges. The lady then asked me to come either personally to collect or employ Dunzo or any other local courier at my cost to take delivery. I asked the lady then to give me the number of Chennai Incharge of Franch Courier so that I can ask him/her as to how a consignment which is paid for door delivery at Chennai and which arrived in Chennai on 16/07/2021 and not delivered to me - can be advised by your customer care to be collected by me personally or thru another local courier at my cost. She did not give me any number but called me after sometime saying that my consignment was attempted to be delivered to me on 17/07/2021 but as I was not available on phone it could not be delivered and hence taken back. NOTHING IS FARTHER FROM TRUTH THAN THIS. I did not receive any call. More importantly it raises a pertinent question as to why the lady at Customer care has been giving different versions at different times.

THE CONSIGNMENT is NOT DELIVERED TO ME TILL TODAY 18/07/'21. THERE IS CLEAR DEFICIENCY IN SERVICE AS WELL AS TRAUMA THAT HAS BEEN CAUSED TO ME.
